– Avoid spam filters– Increase open rates
• Short text– Keep most relevant info “above the fold”– Call for action, and provide a link
• “To register, visit: www…”
• Timing is important– Schedule your email with ample time for alumni to take action
• Bundle Information– Group multiple events or themes in one email
• Better open rate than doing multiple stand-alone emails• Future planning
