Organizing dialogs, seminars, forums or similar functions;
Encouraging induction training to the workers through safety passport;
System or equivalent for selected high risk industries; and
Conducting inspection and sites visit.
Umbrella Project
Under this scheme, the main purpose is for DOSH to generate awareness on OSH through the
establishment of networking within respective industry
associations.
UMBRELLA PROJECT
Additionally, through this exercise, the safety and health of the workers in such workplaces will be safeguarded.
The purpose is ensure that such workplaces are placed under regular inspections by DOSH to ensure safety and health compliance by the owners or occupiers of such workplaces.
Will cover new and existing unregistered workplaces that have not been registered with DOSH.

This project is designed for DOSH officers to directly approach selected SMEs for the purpose of providing guidance on how to carry out the following activities :-

To identify and assess health and safety risks at workplaces, by providing simplified format of HIRARC checklist;

To assist SMEs in the selection of control measures, by prioritizing the risk in the workplaces; and
3
To assist SMEs in analyzing their working conditions and OSH performance, to enable continuous improvement.

SME MOBILE PROMOTIONAL SERVICES
Promotional activities (distribution of pamphlets, posters, guidelines, etc.);Under this project, DOSH officers plan to provide
OSH services to a group of SMEs either based on one specific location or one particular cluster of industry.
The services offered includes :- Chemical monitoring;
Advisory on OSH legal requirements and compliance;
Medical screening;
Advisory on matters related toOSH improvement.
