BULLYING: A CRIME
Things clouds our minds on what
bullying really means and why people
are being bullied upon. Was it because
they let it to or maybe because we really
dont mind its existence.
In every corner of this world and in
every second that ticks a child is being
bullied. A child is being thrown inside a
ocker, dumper or even being locked
nside a comfort room. Bullying is indeed
happening but people are still having
thoughts about it. They arent open forthings that even happened to them when
they were young. Everyones seem to be
n denial, blinded and even dumbfounded
with what is happening around them.
Bullying comes in different forms,
whether its verbal, physical, indirect,
social alienation, intimidation or even in
the internet. In social media for
nstance, people are being bashed easilyon what they had done. Everyone is
easily a victim.
But bullying need to be stopped and
has to end. Teenagers nowadays takes
their lives because of shame. But what
had we done to help and educate them?
Nothing, absolutely nothing because we
ourselves are afraid of our own bullies,
which is ourselves. Yes, all of us are
bullies to ourselves, we pushed
ourselves to the limits without even
thinking about who are we stepping on.
We all have to remember that our
purpose here on earth is promulgate life
and not initiate death and promote it. To
God be the Glory.

Have you heard it lately,Cybercrime Prevention Act of2012 or R.A 10175? What is itall about? Was it made to protector destroy something?
Some of us may thank ourgovernment for passing the saidlaw but most of us are injeopardy because of i tsprohibitions. We usually speakour minds out and express whatwe feel through social media. But things might go different assoon as the Law is implemented. We might say that we are beingchoked with things that we arenot accustomed to or being givena mandate we have to do whatwe dont want and like to do. Wecant really think of it as a goodlaw but a some law that coulddestroy self expression and
freedom to think and write whatwe feel. But, some people toomuch freedom can also destroyonce dignity and can getsomeones life. We sometimestry to write something withoutthinking that we might degradeand hurt someone.
But, come to think of it wewrite because we want them toknow but sometime get out ourway and eventually bashed anddestroys somebody by writingthings about them.
The bottom line is we mustknow our responsibility beforewe write something in the net.We must know its consequencesand its outcomes. We must learnto control ourselves.
Think before you speak!

A blessed day to all, As thenew principal of theLandayan Elementary School,
am indeed excited and amooking forward to work withmy team of dedicated teachersand staff to nurture, guide anddevelop each child to his/herullest potential. Though ourchool was badly stricken byhe wraith of Habagat but yet
with high hopes we continueand is still standing andighting. Natures wraith
might have destroyed our
chool but it hadnt destroyedhe desire of giving qualityducation and learning to our
dear pupils. We had nevereized and manage to give our00% effort in making ourchool a top performingchool in the district. Our school continue strive
owards ensuring the holisticdevelopment of our pupils. Ibelieve in developing in our
pupils 21st Century skills thatwill put them in good stead toace the challenges of the fastchanging, interconnected and
globalised world. The utmost support of the
parents and the communityhas given us strength andourage to face the odds ofeaching outside ourlassrooms. My dear parents
you have been our inspirationin giving our best to teachyour children. Thank you for
your great cooperation, understanding and entrustingyour children to us.
To my Teachers, yourcooperation and efforts wascommendable. You havegiven me the will to givemost I could give as a personand as your principal. Youhave proven to everybody thatthough we are 8 feet underwater you have made our
school atop of eachcompetition and have giventhe best of your ability toteach, train and inculcate thethings your job asked you todo.
Lastly, to my dear pupils,we might be flooded but to usyou are a gem and we seek toteach and provide you withopportunities that wouldnurture your talents and show
each of your unique strength. To everyone thank you and
all I can say is a Job welldone.
I believe that with thecourage to pursue our dreamsas captured in our schoolmotto, Landayan ElementarySchool will continue to soarto even greater heights. Godbless us all!
Underdogs, Victory is Ours!
Points of View!
Keeping track with
things seems a little hard. Most it are getting out of
hand. Cant imagine how
are we going to cope up
with since everything
seems to be out of our
favor.
Giving up was then an
option but guess it would
have rattled our decision.
Its a bit funny becausewe have grown to be a
better person. Then we
realized that we hadnt
been ourselves all along
we might have been
somewhere with nothing.
Sometimes we may be
out of our league but
thats just normal. Being
out somewhere having
fun was great and were
glad we are not in a
solitary confinement.
Things were definitely
n o t t h e s a m e .
Everything seems
getting blurred and
unclean.
We really have to go
with the flow. Learn to
live with and accept it
as a great challenge. A
challenge we once wentthrough and surpass it
with flying colors.
It wont be over until
we accept the fact that
some people are
underdogs ends up to
be the victor.
Soon, we could smile
and have victory and
honor on our favor.
