Because DAA has so many applications and has already become impor tan t in so many fields.
In unsa tura ted polyesters, DAA is a crosslinking
monomer t h a t improves handling and physical properties of prepregs.
In adhesives, it improves specific adhesion to a variety of substrates . And is soluble in a broad range of organic solvents—and water.
Wi th m e t h y M a t e d derivatives of DAA, the coatings and adhesives industries are finding improved product performance. In both thermoset t ing emulsions and solvent systems.
And in textiles, emulsion polymer coatings for wood and paper, masonry primers, and the modification of amines—DAA improves bonding as well as other impor tan t properties.
Who knows what ' s next? DAA is, in effect, a new raw material for the Chemical Process Industr ies. Wi th a big future. We're building for i ts future. And for yours.
