Wassana Diyawara 2016
Living the cosy comfortable life of the suburbs, with all its technologies and conveniences, how often
if ever are we reminded that there are whole communities out there, sharing this same soil, but
struggling through life in one great battle simply to live another day? “Wassana Diyawara” is our
humble attempt to be the soothing rain to their sun-scorched lives, the oasis in their journey through
life’s harsh hinterland. And this is your opportunity to be a part of that humanitarian effort.
Built on the strength of the entire student body and led by the Medical Faculty Buddhist Association,
this project aims at rural development and health promotion at a sustainable level.
