This annual event has been held for over 35 years and has grown with the college. All of the campus will be open and you’ll find an exciting range of activities for the whole family to participate in. Don’t miss our headline acts, back by popular demand, the Devils Horsemen and Titan the Robot.

We’re also excited to announce a new headline act for 2014, Bloodhound SSC, the 1,000mph land speed car. Enjoy exploring what Reaseheath has to offer, and I look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Follow our Bloodhound trail starting in the farm.

Our Land Train will be running throughout the day, taking you from our main drive near Animal Management to the Farm.

Wheelchair or mobility scooter hire

Please be aware that due to the nature of the event and the size of the campus, ground can be uneven and activities quite a distance apart.

If you require a wheelchair or mobility scooter for use on the day Oakwood Mobility are located at the main entrance (by Construction Pay Booth 1) with wheelchairs and vehicles available to hire.

Baby changing facilities

All toilets and those with baby changing facilities are marked on the map and will be signposted, but please ask our marshals for the nearest location if unsure.

Water for dogs

You will find water bowls for dogs dotted across the campus. If empty please ask a marshal to refill.

Other events are being held throughout the campus all day.

Construction and Sheep Shearing1 Have a go at building walls and arches and meet Bob the Builder.

Make and paint your own Bob the Builder plaster cast.Have a go at building a model boat, watch our roofing demonstration and take part in competitions and games.Don’t miss our displays of sheep shearing.

Farming Demonstrations2 Vintage machinery display with Shire horses.

Cheer on our students as they battle it out in a tractor driving and quad bike challenge.

3 Views of the high welfare pig unit and meet our sows and piglets.

Animal Management Paddock4 Meet some of our resident animals.

Farmers and Craft Market5 Take the chance to buy fresh local produce and gifts.

Countryside6 Make bird boxes and dragonflies.

Learn all about bees and why they are so important for the environment.Learn how to make your garden wildlife friendly and visit our wildlife friendly area.Take part in our wildlife quiz and receive environmental tips.Have a go at our air rifle range.Learn bushcraft skills.

Farm Yard7 Guess the weight of the calf and other farm yard animals.

17 Displays from the North Staffordshire Military Vehicle Trust and Cheshire Land Rover Club. Guess how many WWI sandbags will fit in the tractor with our Learning Skills Centre. You could win a ticket to our Maize Maze and Zoo opening this summer!

11.30am and 1.30pm Learn how to make soft cheese and paneer.

Learn how butter is made by hand.

Enjoy a panoramic view of the Reaseheath campus upon our high lift viewing platform.John Deere fault-finding and tractor diagnostics demonstration with our students.Test your dexterity against some of the most up to date excavation technology on our pin game and mini excavator challenge.See how agricultural engineering has progressed over the decades at our vintage tractor display.Enjoy a tractor ride on our off-road course.Have a go on our giant scalextric and Top Gear tyre challenge. Have a go at building a 3D mosaic wall and contribute to this year’s RHS Flower Show Tatton Park garden design, ahead of this summer’s BBC television coverage of the event.

Anne Harrison shows you how to get the best out of your hanging baskets this summer. The plants used are available to buy in the Crop Shop.

Floristry Marquee

24 Take a look at our stunning wedding flowers display.

Come and see the winning designs to our ‘Floristry Through the Ages’ competition all arranged by our floristry students.Make your own sustainable themed floral arrangement to take away. Choose from wild flowers in a tin can, a willow star or paper poppy.

Summer Events at Reaseheath The ‘Jungle is Jumping’ Great family friendly days out at Reaseheath.

Maize Maze Saturday 19th July - Sunday 7th September.

Join in the jungle fever by jumping into our popular Maize Maze.
