• SCR-equippedenginesrequiretheperiodicadditionofDieselExhaustFluid(DEF,aureasolution)toenabletheprocess.DEFisavailableinabottleatmosttruckstops,andsomehaveinstalledbulkDEFdispensersneartheDieselFuelpumps.However,toensuretheproperoperationoftheSCRsystem,operatorsmustensuretheDEFintheirvehicleconsistsofa32.5%Urea/Watersolution.
