4-H NEWS
November 2020
As mentioned last month, each month a project area will be shared. The
project area will go into more depth and provide resources for all
families.
Our next project area is going to be Leadership! This is a great project
area and one that offers so many great opportunities. Some different
ways youth can get involved is through job shadowing a local leader,
planning a club event or activity, un for an office position within your club
and more! These are just ways to increase your knowledge of
leadership!
Some different projects you could complete for fair would be the
following:
Create a workshop on teaching others a project skill you have!
If you have a topic you would love to teach others, please
reach out to our office and we would love to help you get this
started!
Learn more about your leadership style and create a display or
presentation about what you learned and how you will put that into
action!
Start working on creating your resume showcasing your skills and
strengths!
For more on this project area visit: https://www.extension.iastate.edu/4h/

you will have options to apply for state leadership opportunities! Make
