Uses of saber and conocer
Saber means to know facts, information, and to knowhow to do things (skills).
Sé dónde vive Inés.
Ella sabe tocar el piano.
Conocer means to know in the sense of being acquainted
or familiar with persons, places, or things.
Conozco a Carmen.
Ella conoce bien la ciudad de Ponce.
Quiero conocer a Marta Uribe.

When hacer is used in a question, it does not necessarily require a form of hacer in the answer. This is also true in English.
