Essential Driver Training (EDT)
In 2011 Essential Driver Training (EDT) was brought in for any learner who’s 1st Learner permit was issued on or after April 4th 2011. Anybody who had a permit issued before this date is exempt. At Pinnacle Driving School we will issue you with an EDT log book free of charge which we will stamp after the completion of each module.

At Pinnacle Driving School we can answer “YES” to all of the above. Any lessons in South Dublin will be in a 2012 car. We are also unusual in that we do not charge for cancellations. We appreciate when pupils give us adequate notice when they cannot make a lesson but we also understand that with School or work commitments lessons sometimes need cancelled at the last minute and we do not feel justified in charging for lessons we have not provided.

Are you looking for Refresher Driving Lessons?
It is a flaw in the Irish Driving Test System that once a pupil passes the test they are free to drive on the motorway yet will never have had any proper training or guidance in this area. For this reason we provide refresher lessons so that pupils can get used to driving on the motorway or maybe it is just they have never driven on the left hand side before. If you have passed your test or have moved to Ireland for work or vacation and would like a refresher lesson then we can do a 1.5 hour lesson for €45. We normally find that this is plenty of time to get you comfortable with Irish motorways and driving on the left.
