ON-SITE PARTY OPTIONOur parties are naturally fun! No matter which theme you choose, your child’s party is bound to be a happy, hands-on experience. On-site parties last two hours with one hour of leader-directed activities, both indoors and out.

OFF-SITE PARTY OPTIONOur leaders bring the party to you! This program runs for one hour at your desired loca-tion. The leader presents three live animals, as well as other natural items.

FROSTY MAPLE TREESAges 5-10 | Offered February onlyBundle up and join in the fun! Celebrate the magic of the maple trees through a frosty guided trail walk in the winter woods. Participants discover secrets of the maple trees, taste maple treats and meet some animals that rely on maple trees.
NATURAL SPA!Ages 6-13 | Offered year-roundPrepare to be pampered with Irvine’s Natural Spa Birthday Party! Spend the day indulging in all natural body products like lip gloss, scrub and face masks. Explore Irvine’s nature trails to learn about how the earth provides the ingredients for many kinds of body products. Take the spa home with you when you make your very own natural body products! This party has an additional $50 fee.
FEEDING TIMEAges 8-13 | Offered year-roundHere’s a rare chance for animal-lovers to care for live animals! Learn about the important job of an animal keeper and help tend to our resident critters!
SCAVENGER HUNTAges 8-13 | Offered year-roundSearch for clues on the trail to find a hidden treasure! Swap out your party shoes for hiking boots and set foot on our headwaters trail. We’ll hike to the meadow (used to be wetlands) with a naturalist tour guide, but you must solve the clues to reveal a
surprise!
COOKING IN NATUREAges 8-13 | Offered year-roundDoes your child love camping? Do they have a birthday coming up? Forget hot dogs on a stick, we’re talking pita pizzas and cinnamon-sugar dough! We’ll take a nature walk around Irvine’s beautiful property and explore edible plants along the way. Once back at our “campsite” we will learn about campfire safety, cook two tasty treats, and make fresh squeezed orange juice
CAMPFIRE CIRCLEAges 8-16 | Offered April – OctoberHuddle around the campfire, listen to stories and sing songs to celebrate your birthday! Seek out nocturnal creatures, and develop your night vision during a night hike. When it comes time, party-goers will assist with fire building, and of course, put their s’more making skills to the test!

ANIMAL SUPER HEROESAges 3-5 | Offered year-roundWhat animal super powers would you like to have? In this super party, participants learn about animal movement and the awesome adaptations that animals use to survive. Meet native animals, wear animal inspired nature capes and practice our new super moves.
DINOSAURS DIGAges 3-8 | Offered year-roundAre the dinosaurs really gone? Participants meet two live animals that have a lot in common with dino ancestors. Search for dinosaurs on the trail and make fossils!
GARDEN MAGICAges 3-8 | Offered April - SeptemberBzzzz Bzzzz....flowers and bumble bees are a perfect match! Participants will celebrate by learning all about gardening, pollination, planting and harvesting. Learn all about blossoms, blooms and all the animals that rely on them. Guests will plant seeds and watch them grow!
WILD THINGS Ages 3-8 | Offered year-roundWhat is a wild animal? How is it different from a pet? ‘Roar your terrible roars’ as we read a classic animal tale and meet three live animals from Irvine’s own wild exhibits. Outdoor games and trail activities included.
UNDER THE SEAAges 3-8 | Offered year-roundParty-goers will discover the wonderful world of the ocean as they take a “dive” into the deep blue! Participants will meet two live aquatic animals. They will also comb for seashells andcreate their own fish art project.
WOODLAND FAIRIESAges 3-10 | Offered year-roundSearch for fairies and the trails they leave behind, build fairy shelters on the trail and meet live animals who live amongst the fairies in the woodland habitat.
WINTER WONDERLANDAges 3-10 | Offered seasonally; December – MarchWinter fun in snow or sun! Adventure awaits on Irvine’s nature trails. Participants uncover tall tales and winter myths as they discover real habits of animals in winter. Learn about winter adaptations and habitats. Play outdoor games, read stories, meet animals and search for signs of the season!
