My Insights FROM EGYPT!
One of the most striking
things to me was the use
of S P A C E!
Fancy shops with
expensive items
have only few
items on display
that are s paced
out
The cheaper
they get, the
more the items
are more
densely
displayed.
If they’re gonna be on
sale, then it must look
even more crowded!
And if you step outside
the fancy mall …
There are so
many things to
look at that
you can’t see
any of it really!
And no wasted
space! Pavements
and ceilings are
usable space. Be creative
This also affects how
salesmen behave and how
the customers feel about
getting help
Less items -> customers not
lost
More items -> salesmen more
tempted to showcase items
lost in clutter!
Personally, when faced with
a cluttered shop, I’d rather
cut the chase & ask for help
than look for what I want!
Otherwise, I’d rather just have
my space to explore.
So… how you showcase your
products affects how
valuable they look and how
much people are willing to
pay!
Also does it look like the store
is trying to pamper you? Or is
it more attention given to the
salesman’s comfort?
The salesman in
this store must
be happy room
was made for this tiny TV
Fancy shops will make space
a nice sofa/waiting area for
its customers
And a few elegant touches
And it could help to
have a model that
looks like she has lots of money to spend
