Merged Bid Process. “Process to merge multiple bids into single bid, based on some conditions”
Conditions : ● Only Draft bids can be merged ● Merged Based on,
○ Category ○ Manufacture ○ Variants
Functional Process Example: Assume, we have 3 different types of tenders
● TENDER 001 ● Product1 Samsung(OEM) ● State : Draft ● Product category : Samsung ● Product Manufacturer : Samsung ● Procurement Attached : PROC 001(On Running State)
○ With Tender : TENDER 001 ● TENDER 002
● Product2 Nokia(OEM) ● State : Draft ● Product category : Nokia ● Product Manufacturer : Nokia ● Procurement Attached : PROC 002(On Running State)
○ With Tender : TENDER 002 ● TENDER 003
● Product3 Apple(OEM) ● State : Draft ● Product category : Apple ● Product Manufacturer : Apple ● Procurement Attached : PROC 003(On Running State)
○ With Tender : TENDER 003

Merged Bid Process Select these three bids for in merging process with based on attribute,
● Merge Base on “OEM” attribute, ● All tender’s products have same attributes!! ● So, it will auto select all these three tenders(TENDER 001, TENDER 002, TENDER 003) for
in merging process!!
After Merged: It will create a new tender suppose TENDER 004 with below detail,
● TENDER 004 ● Product1 Samsung(OEM) ● Product2 Nokia(OEM) ● Product3 Apple(OEM) ● State : Draft ● Procurement’s Attached :
○ PROC 001(On Running State) ■ With Tender : TENDER 004(Newly Attached Tender)
○ PROC 002(On Running State) ■ With Tender : TENDER 004(Newly Attached Tender)
○ PROC 003(On Running State) ■ With Tender : TENDER 004(Newly Attached Tender)
All old tenders has been cancelled,
● TENDER 001 ● Product1 Samsung(OEM) ● State : Cancelled
● TENDER 002 ● Product2 Nokia(OEM) ● State : Cancelled
● TENDER 003 ● Product3 Apple(OEM) ● State : Cancelled
Note: Some Technical Info When you confirm purchase quotation base on merged tender,
● Changed the flow of destination move id set for Move, ○ Set destination move id base on which procurement’s attached to Tender.
