I have a strong academic background in communication, advertising and marketing; having won the Santander Scolarship for Achievement
in Social Sciences in 2012, reecting my achievement of the highest grades faculty-wide in Ulster University. These grades were in large part
based upon a dissertation on marketing management in the high technology environment.
TThe same year I won The Study USA Scholarship, which took me to the USA to pursue work and studies. While there I maintained my interest
in the high technology industry, and determined to make my way to San Francisco to work for a technology startup. In 2013 I began working
for SF based enterprise software as a service startup, RolePoint.
II spent a year and a half leading RolePoint’s online marketing efforts, and was able to learn from some of hi-tech industry’s great marketers
and entrepreneurs. I took personal mentorship from best selling author Aaron Ross on effective copy strategy when selling to the enterprise.
I also received guidance from a senior UX strategist at DropBox when developing our companies online content strategy.
DDuring this period, I was heavily involved in branding and design. I worked on graphics for the web; across social media, whitepapers, videos
and online advertising campaigns. I remain an enthusiast of design and advertising technology, and constantly strive to learn new compe-

ABOUT ME An award winning graduate of communication, advertising & market-ing with signicant experience in a hi-tech startup environment. I have a passion for creating persuasive communications across a variety of media, with experience in both UK and US advertising agencies. I have a strong interest in new media and advertising technology, having writ-ten dissertations on the hi-tech marketing environment and the role of new media in advertising.
I brought a strong interest in A/V production to my role as an adver-tising creative and as the Head of Digital Marketing at a Silicone Valley tech startup. In the latter I managed a team, working closely with prod-uct and sales teams, to create content across a variety of media. During my career I have built a substantial video production portfolio; person-ally scripting, lming and editing numerous advertisements, principally for the hi-tech industry.

Based in the San Francisco HQ, I led RolePoint’s online marketing strategy from
launch. Responsibilities included SEO, PPC, video & display advertising creation
and social media marketing. A boundary spanning role that demanded creative
and strategic capabilities.

Working directly under the creative director at this US agency; this role included
graphic design, photography and videography. I created audio-visual content
for social media campaigns and contributed to the planning of a new product
launch for national client, Steak Escape.

During this full-time internship I worked on a live campaign brief for Habitat for
Humanity. I contributed heavily across several disciplines including planning
and strategy and creative. I provided the nal illustrations chosen for the crea-

PORTFOLIO
In this campaign I played the leading role in deciding the creative
concept; including personally creating dynamic character and font
designs in illustrator. These were used across a range of media; in-
cluding print, press and digital.

While at RolePoint I spent much time producing marketing media
and creating branded content. This included creating display ads,
social identity, branded whitepapers and display advertisements.

A central part of my job at RolePoint was creating and maintaining
RolePoint.com and the associated blog. I received UX guidance from
senior marketers at DropBox, and optimized the site for sales, SEO
and content distribution. I used a number of tools including Hub-
SPot, WordPress and Google Analytics on a daily basis.
