organization has worked with over 45,000 children.

Over 500 children living in Israel
Roughly 350 boys and girls from socio-economically disadvantaged communities in East and West Jerusalem
More than 500 children living in the West Bank
Over 700 Palestinian and Arab-Israeli children

PPI – Middle East: Accomplishments and Awards
PeacePlayers International – Middle East is profiled in former President Bill Clinton's new book: Giving – How Each of Us Can Change the World. PPI's Executive Director, Brendan Tuohey, was named one of the 100 Most Influential Sports Educators in the United States. In September of 2007 Ann Curry of NBC's Today Show featured PeacePlayers International's work in the Middle East in a segment that reached more than six million viewers .
We have touched the lives of over 2,500 children since September 2005!

Two of PPI's local coaches in Northern Ireland - a Protestant and a Catholic - were awarded the prestigious Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2007 ESPY Awards. Past recipients include: Muhammad Ali and Pat Tillman.
