In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month 2021, Christina Chavarría will present materials from theUSHMM archives to reveal how various countries in

Latin America responded to the events in Europe in the 1930s and 1940s.

Her interests lie in Holocaust literature, engaging new

audiences and partners, and studying anddisseminating information on the impact and historyof the Holocaust in Spain, Latin America, and the US

Latino population.
