• Evaluation isa periodic,objectiveassessmentofanongoingorcompletedproject,programmeorpolicy,whichasksspecificquestionsregardingimplementation,managementandresults.

• Impactevaluationisanassessmentofthecausaleffectofaproject,programmeorpolicyonbeneficiaries.Itanswersthequestions:- “Whatwastheeffectoftheprogramonoutcomes?”- “Howmuchbetteroffarethebeneficiariesbecauseoftheprogram/policy?”- “Howwouldoutcomeschangeifchangedprogramdesign?”- “Istheprogramcost-effective?”
