Future Making for Every Student
Dear Amazing families, Although I haven’t been able to see you at school over the past two weeks I have been busy with my learning walks on Class Dojo along with Mr.Williams and Mrs. Bourke. I am very proud indeed of the children’s learning in their portfolios and our teachers efforts in opening up group lessons on Webex. This of course wouldn’t happen if our wonderful parents, carers and kin weren’t behind the children supporting, encouraging and assisting them when needed. As a teacher and a parent I don’t know how it is for you but I do understand the patience, endurance and the persistence that you have in the critical role you play in our learning community, particularly in the realm of remote and flexible learning. With you I appreciate our staff’s determination and hard work whether onsite at school or in a digital platform – Class Dojo. I would also request that you check in with your child / children and ask them if someone from their class is not on Dojo. The school does have a tracking of attendance protocol and process; however, we are challenged when phone numbers and email addresses have not been updated. If you could pass this information on to the office for us to follow up it would be greatly appreciated.
