ADDITIVES
ADITIVO SX MAXIAdditive formulated for alkaline cleaning solutions. Increases efficiency in removing heavily embedded dirt.
Ultrasound technology combined with specially designed products for each item and dirt
31
The HPC system uses a synergistic combination of ultrasound and temperature with BETELENE® US range of products, specifically de-signed to remove dirt and reduce microbial contamination.
PRODUCTS
The ultrasound generator emits vibrations that create compression waves in the liquid, leaving millions of microscopic “holes” or “partial vacuum” behind (cavitation). These bubbles collapse with great energy reaching temperatures up to 10,000 K and pressures of 3,400 atmospheres, generating high reactivity hydroxyl radicals simultaneously.
Micro-bubble collapse generates microjets that impact the surface and clean the elements. In addition, the implosion of bubbles produces high shear forces, which destroy the cell walls of bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms. The use of specific detergents enables the generation and transmission of ultrasounds, increasing the efficiency of the cleaning process.

BETELENE® LUB 508 Silicone based lubricant. Specially designed for plastic and carton pack conveyor belts. EDTA and NTA free.
INFLUENTIAL LUBRICATION FACTORS
Lubrication consists of placing a thin film between two surfaces exposed to friction (bottle and conveyor belt) that separates them, thus reducing their wear and friction.
Betelgeux has different lubrication products and systems: sanitizing lubri-cants, silicone based lubricants and an innovative dry lubrication system with total absence of water. This system allows great savings in water consumption.

CENTRALISED DOSING
MAIN STATIONS
Centralised systems prevent operators from handling chemicals, offer more accurate dosing, save time and reduce water consumption, detergents and disinfectants.
Betelgeux designs complete projects for centralized installations.

For industrial cleaning and disinfection systems it is advisable to use pressure boosting equipment (to increase mechanical energy). We recommend the use of medium pressure (20-25 bar).
The equipment increases the pressure of mains water and sends it to the cleaning points, such as satellites (mobile or stationary), water points, etc. The pressure equipment is selected based on the number of operators that will use the system simultaneously.

FOAM TANKS MEDIUM PRESSURE EQUIPMENT
Foam generating satellites are specifically designed for complete cleaning of industrial surfaces, installations and equipment. The functions of rinsing, foaming or disinfection are available to choose from on satellites.
In terms of working pressure, they are divided into two groups: medium pres-sure satellites (20-25 bar.) and low pressure satellites (2-10 bar.).

HOSES
The hoses supplied by Betelgeux are suitable for cleaning and disin-fection in the food industry. These are high-quality, thermoplastic hoses resistant to animal and vegetable fats, designed in accordance with European Commission Regulation 10/2011 on plastics and articles that may come into contact with food. These requirements are complemen-tary to the general provisions defined in Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 on materials and articles used for food packaging.
NOZZLES
Stainless steel nozzles suitable for the different operations of low con-sumption spraying, foaming, disinfection and rinsing.
The green nozzle, which is ideal for rinsing, saves up to 50% water, consuming between 10/15 litres of water per minute.

AIRBORNE DISINFECTION
AIRBORNE DISINFECTION EQUIPMENT
CENTRAL NEBULIZER UNIT
Installation of these systems is always preceded by an on-site study carried out by a qualified technician. It is essential to know the context in which disinfection will be applied by air in order to offer the best guarantees.
We offer a tailored solution to each particular case, taking into account the microbial load, volume and configuration of the room, flows and time available.
53
AIR SAMPLING EQUIPMENT
AirTest®
High performance equipment for microbiological air control. It is a new compact, self-contained and high-performance equipment for micro-biological air sampling.
NEBULIZADOR X3
El nebulizador X3 consists of a trolley to which a 20 or 25 litre bottle with the disin-fectant product is easily coupled.
It only needs compressed air (8 bar and 400 l/min). It is equipped with three nozzles and can quickly supersaturate the atmosphere of the room. Suitable for the environmental treatment of bottling and packaging areas.
A timer can be fitted for automatic con-nection or disconnection..

AUTOMATIC MACHINES
EKW CRATE WASHING MACHINE
EKW crate washing machines are equipment for automating the clea-ning of different types of crates. They stand out for their efficiency in the use of water, energy and chemicals. EKW crate washing machines allow a better control of final results.
Betelgeux has different models depending on cleaning needs: cleaning capacity of crates varies from 250 to 1,040 crates per hour with 45 se-conds of permanence.
Please contact our technical department to tailor this equipment to your specific requirements.
Efficiencyin cleaning processes
ETW UTENSIL WASHING MACHINES
ETW washing machines are designed for the hygienic and efficient washing of all types of utensils.
They have a specially designed lid that allows the operators to make the total opening, in this way it is easier to introduce the different elements to clean.
ETW washing machines incorporate a self-cleaning system. This system is activated automatically allowing the machine to be cleaned and sanitized with hot water at 85 °C.
When last washing programme is completed, the machine is emptied of water using the installed drain pump as a standard feature.

Fields of application: • Machinery and equipment cutting
tools and components: knives, cutting blades and saws, elbows, tools, pipe sections, sheets, ...
• Hooks.
• Crates and trays.
• Cheese moulds.
• Cages.
• Ham hangers.
• Other applications.
HPC: SANITATION BY CAVITATION
HPC cavitation sanitizing equipment uses ultrasound at frequencies between 20 and 38 kHz, together with sanitizing products, to clean and reduce microbial contamination of elements and utensils in the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic industries and livestock farming.
Remarkable cleaning results in exceptional time
Advantages of this technology:• High cleaning capacity even for
heavily embedded dirt and hard to clean black spots.
• Disinfectant power.
• Total automation.
• Low water and detergent con-sumption.
