How does Web Enhanced InTech Support 21st Century Technology Competencies?
How Do We Define Web Enhanced?
For the purpose of Web Enhanced InTech:
Web enhanced instruction is defined as the use of online technologies and resources to supplement classroom instruction. Web enhanced technologies may also be used to replace a portion of the classroom instruction.
How is InTech Web Enhanced?
Online Learning Environment – WebCT
Integrated email, reflective discussion, online supplemental resources, grading, online chat areas, small group online activities Archived online comments
discussions Interactive quizzes / brain checks
Advantages of Web Enhanced InTech
Prepares teachers for classrooms of the future not just the present.
Newest technologies tend to peek the innate curiosity which promotes independent exploration of content.
Anytime / anywhere access encourages the use of the technology outside of the classroom.
Access to the content outside of class time provides opportunities for individualized exploration and customized pacing of material.
