May will certainly bring warmertemperatures and sunshine. It alsomarks the shifting of seasons in ourlives. There is graduation. We will becelebrating our graduates on May 12at our Worship Service. They will beattending a breakfast in their honor. Itis always so fun to look at these youngpeople and think about the places thatGod will lead them in their lives. Manyof us look at them and have memoriesof the things we have done since we
were their age and perhaps somethings we havent done.
We have graduation moments allthrough our lives. We move from onephase, to another. We have those timeswhen we reflect back on where wehave been and times when weanticipate what the future holds. Letthe graduates of all ages and stagesremember that God holds us through-out our life, remembering us andplanning for our futures.
Dont forget moms this month! Evenmore, take time to remember all thosewomen in your life that have nurturedyou along the way. Honor the womenwho have made a home for you.
Memorial Day ends our month. Taketime to remember those who haveserved our country in times of war andin times of peace. Thank those aroundyou that serve our country today.
Perhaps pray for times of peace.
Lastly, prepare for the summerseason. There will be manyadventures and travels with family. There are sports and Vacation BibleSchools and camps. Remember yourchurch, pray for the church, remember your financial supportand let me know of your travels. Ilike to keep you in my prayers whenyou are away.
May your graduations and new
season be blessed. Pastor Emily

S/PPRC met on Monday, April 22 with all members present. Our devotion tiwas based on Philippians 1:3-6 which revealed that Paul was excited abothe work going on among the Philippians. We too are excited about the wogoing on in our church with our Pastor and staff. We all appreciated staffs help in fine tuning their job descriptions. Most of the job descriptio
are in place (or in process) with only a few minor additions or correctioCommittee members reported that they have been in touch with their stliaison at least once since our last meeting. Members were encouragedmake a frequent contact with their liaison to ascertain their joys and concerPastor Emily shared what her schedule looks like which included her residerequirements and her leadership class.
