AcooperativereductionmodelforregionalairpollutioncontrolinChinathatconsidersadversehealtheffectsandpollutantreductioncostsThenon-cooperativereductionmodel(NCRM)isstillthemainairpollutioncontrolpatterninChina.Butitisbothineffectiveandcostlybecauseeachprovincemustindependentlyfightairpollution.Thus,thisarticleproposedacooperativereductionmodel(CRM),withthegoalofmaximizingthereductioninadversehealtheffects(AHEs)atthelowestcostbyencouragingneighboringareastojointlycontrolairpollution.ResultsshowthattheCRMisnotsensitivetothechangesineachprovince'spollutant-carryingcapacityandtheminimumpollutant-removalcapacity,butsensitivetothemaximumpollutant-reductioncapacity.Moreover,highercooperationbenefitswillbegeneratedwhenaprovince'smaximumpollutant-reductioncapacityincreases.
