CARTA DEL EDITOR I EDITOR LETTER
¡Felicidades!
The most beautiful season of the year has arrived. It does not
matter what has occurred in the past months, in Christmas
everything changes. There are moods of happiness, music, dec-
orations and activities with friends and family. But what is the
true reason of this happiness? Beyond the gifts and the com-
mercial euphoria, it is a time to share hope, a new opportunity
to leave behind the past and project new dreams and ideas.
More than 2000 years ago, history marked the birth of a child
which transformed the life on this earth by sharing a message
of faith, love and hope. His actions converted him into a central
figure of history; every register is before and after Him. His fol-
lowers continue to grow; his truth gives nourishment to the vi-
sion and the formation of the destiny we yearn for. His
revolutionary message was not based on fighting, war or death
but instead in love, faith, and life. Because of that, Epiko Mag-
azine dedicates this edition to Emmanuel, “God with us”, whom
we need more than ever before in our homes and in our world.
On behalf of the Elite Marketing, creators of Epiko Maga-
zine, we would like to wish our collaborators, providers,
clients and, most of all, readers, a beautiful Christmas season
along with your loved ones, and to those who have had a dif-
ficult year, that they may find again the hope for a new be-
ginning in 2011. May each home hold the existence of
Emmanuel’s birth in this Christmas and to our world PEACE,
LOVE AND HOPE. Best Wishes!

MOTIVACIÓN I EPIKO VIDA
– Aunque ignoren tus esfuerzos, vuelve a empezar.

EPIKO LIFE I MOTIVATION
In February of 2001 Michelle
Jenkins traveled to Califor-
nia with a dream: to study
dance in a prestigious academic
institution. To achieve it she had
to overcome an audition in front
of the professors of the precinct.
Michelle had practiced enough
so as to feel assured that she
would pass the test without any
difficulty. The judges gave their
signal and at the sound of the
music the girl began to dance.
She looked confident and serene,
but arriving at the most impor-
tant section of the dance, some-
thing inexplicable occurred.
Michelle slipped and fell on the
floor hurting herself against one
of the walls. It is not known if
she fell because of excessive confidence or by things of des-
tiny, but nothing is more important that what she did after the
fall. She rose up with much calmness, looked at the judges
and said she would begin the routine once again. This time,
exhibiting the same confidence the girl, carried out her rou-
tine without any error. Three weeks later she received a let-
ter where it was communicated that she had obtained the
scholarship to study at the University.
That is how the people who succeed in the life are; they fall
but they do not have the fear of getting up and starting once
again. They stumble, but they do not remain on the floor, in-
stead they get on their feet and with much spirit they start
again. This applies to any area in life. What makes the dif-
ference in the falls and stumbles of the human being is not
knowing why we fall or why we fail, but the disposition that
we have to straighten ourselves, put ourselves back on our
feet and try it again.
Before the falls and conflicts of
life the majority of people opt
for complaint, protest, crying or
self-pity, nevertheless, what God
asks of us is that if we fall that
we get up and try it again. The
wise Solomon was not mistaken
when he wrote that the just man
falls seven times, but will rise
many more (Prov. 24:16a). That
about rising is nothing more
than the opportunity that God
gives to the fallen so he can
begin again.
An unknown author wrote some
inspiring verses that impel us to
get up and reinitiate in spite of
the difficulties of the road.
– Although you feel tired, begin again.
– Although triumph abandons you, begin again.
– Although error may hurt you, begin again.
– Although a business fails, begin again.
– Although betrayal may hurt you, begin again.
– Although pain burns your eyes, begin again.
– Although an illusion is put out, begin again.
– Although they may ignore your efforts, begin again.
– Although ingratitude is the payment, begin again.
– Although incomprehension cuts your smiles, begin again.
– Although everything seems like nothing…begin again.
It is clear that what is most important is not the magnitude
of the fall, or the size of a defeat, but the blessing that God
grants us so that we may try again. If an adversity has de-
tained you, the Author of life gives you a new opportunity so
that you may begin again. e

EPIKO Q&A I SILVERIO PEREZ
For a long time I have ad-
mired the music, the
humor and natural abil-
ity of this artist for being able to
realize full and witty interviews
of human warmth, to reveal to
us the humanity of the one being
interviewed in a high level of re-
spect and dignity. Silverio Pérez
the artist and man united by the
art and simplicity that is felt in
interviewing this great Puerto
Rican, who in his trajectory
counts with 40 years of history
along with Rayos Gamma, the
satiric political group most im-
portant in Puerto Rico. In
music, he is founder of one of
the groups of Nueva Trova,
icons of Puerto Rico “Haciendo
punto en otro son” who are cel-
ebrating their 35th anniversary in 2010. Silverio Pérez,
book writer and, most recently, motivator looks to leave a
legacy to future generations, for which he has created the
concept of “Humortivation,” which we speak of in Epiko
Magazine.
EM: SILVERIO PÉREZ IS A MUSICIAN, COMPOSER, COMEDIAN,HOST, WRITER AND MOTIVATOR, WHAT DOES EACH ONE REP-RESENT?SP: It represents a stage, a bridge, a transition and a gift
from God to do my part in life.
EM: WHAT IS IT THAT MOST SATISFIES YOU OF EACH ONE OFTHESE STAGES?SP: The opportunity to give to others in their life something
that is of my understanding and experience that can con-
tribute to having a better world. Music is a rhythmic relief of
emotions that can entertain, educate, arouse love and ex-
press the noblest sentiments toward the country, the woman,
and the family. Comedy and po-
litical satire are the manner
which, in joke, treats serious
matters of our country, of its
destiny and contributes through
our talents to the quality of life
in our land. “Humortivation”
permits me to draw near and
identify the needs of individuals
and help convert us into people
with a purpose to realize our-
selves in our own well-being
and that of others.
EM: WHAT EXPERIENCES HAVEYOU LIVED WITHIN THE FIELDOF MOTIVATION WHICH HASMARKED YOU IN A PARTICULARMOMENT?SP: I remember a young lady
who approached me after offer-
ing a chat and she expressed her
gratitude for something that I had said in a television program,
because of those words she decided not to commit suicide. Def-
initely, that is one of the experiences that gives me the satis-
faction of knowing that I am doing what is right with my life.
EM: TROVA IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF THE LIFE OF SILVERIOPÉREZ. YOU HAVE WRITTEN OF IT AND HAVE SHOWN HOWTO MAKE A DECIMA (A STYLE OF PUERTO RICAN POETRYTHAT IS OCTOSYLLABIC AND HAS 10 LINES) AND ITS RULES.MOREOVER, YOU HAVE THE INCREDIBLE ABILITY TO DE-VELOP IT AND YEARN THAT FUTURE GENERATIONS WILLCULTIVATE IT. HOW IMPORTANT IS THAT GENRE TO YOU?SP: Trova is an integral part of our folklore and of the roots
of our music that should not be lost: for them I cultivate it
and aspire to make it reach future generations so that they
may maintain alive the spirit of a good troubadour.
Silverio Pérez an artist of great caliber, versatile and simple.
An artist to follow. e

Ahora la letra “y” ya noserá “i griega” sino “ye”.En América, deberándejar de llamar “be alta”
y “be baja” a la “b” y a la “v”: ahoraserán “be” y “uve”.

THE MOST ANTICIPATEDTIME… CHRISTMASThroughout the years I have seen how
the feeling has been lost of a time that
marks so many beautiful emotions. We
know that something important must
have occurred in Bethlehem the night
in which that child was born. His birth
split history in two: before and after
Him. In Him was all the hope in return
of humanity that waited for a miracle
to alter the way. Our world today also
hopes for miracles to help us change
the way we have been living in the
past few years. But different from that
Christmas where nobody knew if that
child was the hope that everyone
was waiting for, we know that
where Jesus was born every-
thing changes. There are
places where we need to re-
take the true meaning of this
time that, more than gifts and
parties, it should bring faith
and love. The opportunities to
forgive, reconcile and have a
new beginning toward life are in
recapturing the faith toward the
true meaning of this season: A
savior was born to us, Emmanuel
“God with us”.
This world needs to recapture faith,
hope and family unity. It
is a time to call that
family member that
for years has
stopped seeing
because of
a misunderstanding and recapture lost
time. It is time to forgive and forget
grudges; open your heart to opportu-
nities and do not remain enslaved to
resentment for the experiences of the
past. It is time to discover the beauty
we have inside and remove the roots of
those who do not permit us to give our
best. It is Christmas and we can
change it all if we retake its true mean-
ing: LOVE, FAITH and HOPE. A new
birth in the XXI Century, an opportu-
nity to make it better. God gave us his
greatest gift: Jesus. For them let us
give to the world our best; that way we
will be doing our part to forge a better
world, we will understand that beyond
the gifs and celebrations, we need to
be FAMILY.
Epiko Magazine on this occasion did
not want to give the front cover to a
celebrity or an artist but instead offer
it to the true meaning of Christmas, to
make our readers focus in the follow-
ing: It may not be our best economic
year, maybe we do not have the most
expensive gifts, but we have each
other, the family, the love that we can
share with others. That is the true
meaning of this season. EMMANUEL:
GOD WITH US!
Faith, love and hope is our wish that all
of you have a Merry Christmas and may
we all remember the true meaning
of this holiday season…
Happy Holidays! e

GREGG ORTIZ I HOMBRE EPIKO
del Sea World, Fl.
A menudo

GREGG HA DISEÑADO PIEZAS ÚNICASPARA WORLD DISNEY CO.
affected by AIDS Foundation.

T he artist Gregg Ortiz
began his career as a
window decorator in
New York City and, now, car-
ries an extensive resume that
anyone in the doll industry
would envy. At present, Gregg
Ortiz is one of the most
renowned names of the indus-
try and today is the Man of
Epiko Magazine of December.
GREGG, HOW IS THE WORLD OFDOLL SCULPTORS FOR CELEBRI-TIES? I feel that celebrities, like all
the collectors, are interested in
quality, originality, and diver-
sity, but also in confidential
transactions that elude unnec-
essary media attention.
WHAT DOES AN ADVANCED COLLECTOR LOOK FOR? The advanced collector always looks for an artist that is not
afraid of mixing vintage materials with contemporary ones.
GREGG’S SCULPTURE IS GUIDED BY AN IDEA OR CONCEPT,AND FOCUSES PARTICULARLY IN CAPTURING PARTICULAREXPRESSIONS AND EMOTIONS THROUGH HIS WORK. HOWDO YOU ENRICH YOUR CREATIVITY? WHAT INSPIRES YOU? I believe that observing life and nature enrich what I call the
indescribable “it factor” at the moment of creating a doll.
The “it factor” is for me is an emotion, it is that point in the
process of creativity in which I know that the doll or sculp-
ture emanates an energy into what I am trying to portray
through my work.
GREGG’S ART TRAINING SEPARATES HIM FROM MANY OFHIS CONTEMPORARIES AND HELPS HIM INTERPRET THECLASSICS; LIKE CINDERELLA, A FULL BODY DOLL, OF FASHION,UNIQUE IN HER CLASS. HOW DO YOU ACHIEVE THIS?
I take this concept and take it to
a space that is only mine. This is
the seal of an artist in any
medium: the ability to take the
written word and convert it into
a tridimensional piece that
refers us to the original history
under a completely new light.
GREGG HAS DESIGNED UNIQUEPIECES FOR THE WALT DISNEYCOMPANY. HE TOOK THE REGIS-TERED ICON, MICKEY MOUSEAND CONVERTED HIM INTO ANORIGINAL PIECE, SOMETHINGTHAT NOT ALL ARTISTS WOULDBE ABLE TO DO. HOW DID YOULIVE THIS?There should be a fluidity and
harmony in a piece. It is not
just about the sculpture, but the
matrimony of color, sculpture,
proportions and the attention to details. The movement of
the hands is very important, being that it defines the final
product.
HOW DO YOU ARRIVE AT SUCH A SELECT CLIENTELE? The doll artist who wants to cultivate an advanced clientele
of collectors should remember that most collectors of this
environment already own a basic collection.
Gregg creates arts pieces which are meant to be displayed
but also enjoyed. Other arts pieces have been sold to raise
money for various charity organizations, such as the
Children Affected by AIDS Foundation.
As for sculpting, Gregg hopes to be able to continue other
avenues of production and to reach others through his work
with limited edition designs. e

• ¡Ahora a volar!

EPIKO FOR THE SOUL I PREPARE YOURSELF
C hristmas has arrived! And
with it is renewed the dreams,
wishes, and hope of a better
future. And it is the magic of the
Christmas season that invades each
life, heart and corner with a delicious
and fresh atmosphere of indescribable
happiness, and an extraordinary sen-
sation of changes and new things that
stimulate us to evaluate where we are,
and it prompts us to reach the dreams
longed for.
And in the middle of the preparation
for the season, the lights are light, we
decorate, we cook and enjoy our-
selves. From the decorated tree, to the
tablecloth, everything is dressed in
bright colors to give welcome to
Christmas. But before placing everything new, usually we
realize an inventory of what we possess, we do a deep clean-
ing and do away with all that is unnecessary. Just as we
make space for the distinctive elements of the season, we
should create space in our interior to give room to the new
season that neighbors itself in our lives. I will give you some
advice:
DO NOT PRESSURE YOURSELF…In the middle of this process of evolution and changes it is es-
sential that we sit down and make a retrospection of every-
thing lived and of the trajectory of what has brought us here.
Not to create dissatisfaction, fault or frustration for what we
do not reach or not done well, instead to situate ourselves
correctly where we are at and go to where we want to arrive
in a realizable manner.
DO AN INVENTORY OF WHAT YOU HAVE ANDWHAT YOU NEED…In your starting point you will also have to leave luggage
and burdens, clothing that no longer fits
you. Things that although you like will
have to be substituted for others. If you
are in a cold climate, you will no longer
be able to use that single shoulder
blouse with your short skirt and your
golden sandals. In its place you will put
on boots, coat, gloves, and pretty scarf.
PREPARE YOURSELF…All new time requires preparation. You
need to equip yourself with the required
resources to arrive to where you wish to
arrive, how you wish to arrive. I will
give you some advice that will place you
in the correct “track” and in the path
toward your new destiny.
• Analyze what things turn out to be heavy for you, useless
and unnecessary and tell them good bye. This includes past
distasteful experiences.
• Do not grapple with the past. This will impede you from
taking a step to something new.
• Substitute the old feelings for new ones: auto-stimulants
with words of value, spirit and perseverance. You can.
• Change from a limited mind to an abundant mind. Short-
ages begin in your interior.
• Create and visualize what you have created: because if you
can Create it you can Have it.
• Equip yourself with the required resources to embark on
this new trip. It is never late to begin a career or profes-
sion.
• And now Fly! Fly high until reaching everything you have
been called to achieve. The sky is the limit and when you
reach it, you will see that God has new time for you.
On forward! And Happy travels toward your new time!

TOMA MUCHA AGUA

EPIKO BEAUTY I WINTER HAS ARRIVED
How Cold! Winter has ar-
rived! But that does not
mean that we should
stop presuming. We should nei-
ther frustrate ourselves when we
look into the mirror and do not
look like the girls of the winter an-
nouncements that appear in the
magazine “In Style.” Today, in
my Secrets, I bring you 10 “tips”
to always look beautiful in winter:
1.Apply lots of creams and
drink a lot of water, at least
2 liters per day. If drinking water
is a problem for you, distribute
the water in the following man-
ner: 2 cups before each meal and before sleeping, until you
reach a total of eight cups. It is the best for your body inside
and out.
2.The lips also suffer when winter arrives. To avoid them
getting chapped or dried, protect them with a hydrat-
ing lipstick or a conditioner, if it is red you will feel sexier. An
intelligent “tip” for your lips is to exfoliate them once per
week. To make a homemade exfoliate mixture mix sugar with
honey…you will love it!
3.Hands, are big victims of winter, hydrate them with
hand cream various times during the day. I recommend
using La Bella ®. Do not let your cuticles reach the point of
dryness, cut them on time and, clearly, hydrate them. And do
not forget of the manicure.
4.Avoid hot bathing. It is better to bathe in lukewarm
water and replace soaps with shower gels, they are less
harmful to the skin. Hot water causes the natural lipids of the
skin to be removed, which are in charge of maintaining the
humidity and hydration of our biggest organ.
5.Prevent the flu, there is
nothing more than can
make you look ugly. Avoid
closed spaces and clean your
hands frequently. Taking vita-
mins and nourishing yourself
correctly is the best anti-flu
measure in the world.
6.ake advantage of the ben-
efits of makeup, not only
does it make us look more beau-
tiful but it can also protect us
from winter. If you use makeup
and creams with UV filters in-
corporated, you will have the
perfect protection.
7.Dark lenses will not only give you a mystical “look”,
but will also protect your eyes from the cold and air.
Ophthalmic drops, to alleviate the redness of your eyes, are
never too much.
8.It is not about you being cold, but even covered you
can look good. Some jeans with heel boots, never fail
in winter. You will make more than one person turn to ad-
mire you. Try to use accessories with bright colors.
9.Sequins! Let us not deceive ourselves, we all like lus-
ter. During the day combine them with jeans and by
night with your favorite leggings. Sequins purses are per-
mitted any time this winter. It depends on you…
10.Do not loose the color of summer, for some reason
they invented sunless bronzers. It costs no work ap-
plying sunless bronzers in creams, after bathing, wait until
it dries and…voila! Bronzed skin in winter. e

P lastic surgery, cosmetic surgery, aesthetic surgery are terms
that describe the surgical method that is utilized to change
or mold a part of the body with the end result of improving
one’s appearance. Like any other type of surgery, it can have com-
plications even in the highest levels of hygiene. Today, due to the
economy, an increase of doctors with diverse specialties has been
seen that have begun to perform cosmetic surgeries in their offices,
because there are no laws that regulate this practice. Any doctor
with a medical license can call himself a plastic or cosmetic sur-
geon. The majority of people, without knowing, let themselves go by
gimmick advertisements, offers with low prices, luxurious offices
and end up in the hands of surgeons without the appropriate train-
ing or experience in cosmetic surgery. In this way, many times peo-
ple suffer from serious complications and unsatisfactory results
and end up in the emergency room. Publicity provides a medium so
that physicians without training in plastic surgery can create an
instant reputation, which is not based in the quality of the work but
instead in repetitive and expensive advertising.
At the time of choosing a plastic surgeon you should be dili-
gent, and refer to the American Board of Plastic Surgery, to
confirm that your surgeon is an active member, has privileges
in a recognized hospital, to perform cosmetic surgery, the hos-
pital only grants privileges to perform cosmetic surgery of the
face and body to surgeons with accredited residency in plas-
tic surgery. The American Board of Plastic Surgery regulates
the training, exams and continued education of plastic sur-
geons. More importantly the plastic surgeon knows to recog-
nize, avoid and treat complications that can occur in the
operating room or after a surgery. Although a doctor can
learn to operate by seeing a video or through repeating the
same surgery this does not make him a certified physician in
plastic surgery. Finally, it is important to make sure that your
doctor has not been in a lawsuit nor has complaints against
him, by calling the Florida Department of Health. That way
you can be sure you are in the best hands. e

family and friends, low tempera-
tures… are some of the reason for
which many people anticipate
with happiness the arrival of the
holiday season. For some – as
many as half a million in the
United States – bring with them
sadness, anxiety, decreased ener -
gy and changes in appetite or in
sleeping. This painting of symp-
toms is popularly known as ‘Win-
ter Blues’ or seasonal Depression.
In the United States, it is more
common in the North since the
long duration of winter causes
less exposure to sunlight. In the South of the United States,
the Caribbean, and in the majority of Latin American coun-
tries this change is less frequent and there can be observed
symptoms of seasonal depression due to other psychologi-
cal factors.
One of the factors of great impact in mental health during the
holiday season is the exacerbation of feelings such as
solitude. The marketing campaigns, directed at exploiting the
earnings potential that the season presents, contribute to the
resurgence of emotions caused by the ‘ideal’ images of
celebration within family, in a couple or with friends. If you or
someone you know suffers from the symptoms of seasonal
depression, we invite you to take into account the following
advice:
IF THE SYMPTOMS ARE DUE TO A LACK OF SUNLIGHT:
If you find yourself in the northern states during the winter,
cover yourself appropriately and try to go out and walk or
get sun for a few minutes each
day to receive the benefits of
sunlight. If you find yourself in
the interior throughout the day,
try to maintain your home or
workplace well light, preferably
with natural light.
IF YOUR SYMPTOMS OF SEA-SONAL DEPRESSION ARE DUETO FEELINGS OF LONELINESS,LOSS OR OF YEARNING:
Observe, register, and reflect
over your emotions and feelings
of sadness through the length of
the year. What emotions or
memories do these celebrations
awaken? Writing these emotions
in a diary can be beneficial in necessitating psychological
therapy. If your sadness is due to the yearning of loved ones,
make a plan to communicate with them frequently and try to
maintain a definite routine of contact.
Another way to alleviate the feeling of distance between you
and your loved ones is to decorate your home or workplace
with photographs that bring positive memories. During mo-
ments of much nostalgia or pain because of the separation
of your loved ones reflect upon the positive and negative rea-
sons of the distance.
If you feel depressed, sad or nostalgic during the holiday
season, consider the importance of your mental health for
your total wellbeing and seek professional help. The shift-
ing seasons are a reminder that change is a necessary ele-
ment for our existence and that our capacity to adapt is an
indispensable requirement for our survival and to recognize
true happiness. Enjoy life and receive the changes that your
seasons offer with open arms! e

At the beginning of 2008, as the economy continued todeteriorate and businesses continue to close theirdoors, new economic necessities began to rise. Most
of them related to financial survival. In other words, the searchfor new ideas that will help them survive a recession and keeptheir businesses afloat. Amigos Professional Business Net-work began long before the recession which affected manyfamilies and many businesses causing a global economic.APBN began in 1997 when the founder, Edwin Rivera decidedto leave his career as a Fire Protection Engineer in pursuit ofhis passion in the world of television production and start hisown business. It was then where he understood the importanceof creating public relations. Once he became a business ownerhe realizes that it was a totally different picture. "I neverthought it would how important was for my business to createand maintain public relations with other professionals and inorder to grow my business faster". The goal in every businessmeeting or social groups Networks was very simple. All hehad to do was meet 3 people every time they attend one ofthese activities and keep them as my business allied. But thiswas easier said than done.
It was then I realized something I did unconsciously everytime I meet someone in one of these social and businessevents. Each time I meet someone who did not dress, speak orbehave professionally, I will judge that person automaticallywithin the first few minutes of our conversation. According tothe psychologist, the humans are unjust by nature and unfor-tunately it is easier to judge before knowing that to know andthen judge therefore I need it to learn how to be patient withmy self and others and not judge before hand. The year 2001,I decided to start a new career in the financial world. After work-
ing for two mortgage companies and several years in the busi-ness, it was Wells Fargo Home Mortgage who offered me a placeto work in 2006. While working at Wells Fargo Mortgage, I wasable to put in practice what I had learned for so many years. Iachieve to market the product that I was selling as well as createa personal and professional trust among the people I have met. These experiences and the years of practice have helped us learnmore about the human behavior and the way we do business. Italso teaches us to be more patient and understand that we're notperfect.Amigos Professional Business Network did not startwhen we opened the doors and lunched the first Business Net-work launched in May 2008. APBN started when we learnedhuman behavior and their business needs. To be open mindedand to accept different views from others, it is certainly posi-tive and enriching. This way, it will allow us to see our ownmistakes and correct them. This translates into an improve-ment of our person. Billionaire Warren Buffett has saying, "Ido business with people, not with their companies". WarrenBuffett knows how important it is to develop personal and pro-fessional relationships and maintain them for the growth ofyour business. On December 9th, 2010, Amigos Business Pro-fessional Network will recognize in an award ceremony, thoseprofessionals who have excelled in making a difference in theHispanic community and help those to achieve a successfulbusiness.
¡Gracias a toda mifanaticada!

Afew years ago and in
the middle of the musi-
cal phenomenon that
emerged, known as reggeatón, a
child artist sponsored by Daddy
Yankee rose and became an at-
traction because of his talent,
novelty and ability to express
himself with the media. This
boy, today an adolescent,
launches his fifth production
that is catapulting him into
worldwide success with interna-
tional tours. In addition, along
with his parents, he has created
a clothing line which, only in
Puerto Rico, has sold 2 million
pieces.
“Todo el mundo” (“Everyone”), is the newest disc install-
ment to MIGUELITO with which he will solidify his global
dominion. The premise of this pleasant album is simple: it is
for everyone. The young Puerto Rican star created music
that aims at capturing the attention of many people, beyond
the followers of the urban genre, with merengues, ballads,
and vallenatos (an afro-Caribbean genre from Colombia),
in addition to the innovative rhythmic arrangements in
reggeatón.
“No lo sé” (“I do not know it”), is the first cut to be re-
leased from this production. The gentle romantic ballad is
practically a notice of the imminent adolescence of its in-
terpreter, the infatuations of this stage which seem to be
definitive and which result in becoming rites of initiation
into love. The song, written by Nahuel Schajris, former
singer of Sin Banderas, shows the sensible side of the
artist. In an interview with Epiko Magazine he responded
to questions that we prepared about his career and per-
sonal life.
EM: HOW HAVE YOU ASSUMEDTHE FACT OF BEING SO FAMOUSAND SUCCESSFUL AT SUCH AYOUNG AGE? M: I am grateful to God and my
parents who have always been
there to show me how to do
things in the correct manner.
Also, I am thankful to Daddy
Yankee who sponsored me and
showed me the way within this
genre. Otherwise, I walk with
my feet on the ground!
EM: WITH SO MANY TRIPS ANDCONSTANT TOURS, HOW DO YOUGO TO SCHOOL?M: I have a teacher that travels
with me and keeps me up to date
with my classes when I am on
tour. When I return home I go back to school like every nor-
mal student. I like to study and now I am intensively study-
ing English.
EM: RECENTLY YOU WERE IN ARGENTINA, MÉXICO AND MANYPLACES OF CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICA. THE TREATMENTOF FANS, IS IT DIFFERENT IN EACH PLACE YOU VISIT?M: In general, they are not; it is all a question of how we
communicate and immediately they begin to sing and com-
municate as it is done in all the cities we visit. We love them
all and give them the best of our music to create a good re-
lation; since it is through them that we are in a preferential
place with the public. Thank you to all my fans!
Miguelito is preparing himself for a future crossover, to make
movies in Hollywood and to record in English. For them he
studies and constantly prepares. He has already realized his
first film and he enjoyed the experience. His clothing line is a
complete success that soon will emerge in other countries. The
future of this young man is projected: “For everyone”. e
