The Jewel Box was designed by Ignacio Carrera-Justiz of Coral Gables, Florida. The exterior is covered in thick hammered stained glass tapestries, designed by S.E.A.R. under the direction of Gabriel and Jacques Loire of Chartres, France and based on an abstract painting by German artist Johannes Dietz.
The Jewel Box has been transformed into spaces for artists to create and collaborate. This spectacular space is also a one-of-a-kind venue that offers the perfect platform for any event.

Ted’s is an intimate performance space located on the 7th Floor of the Tower building. Named in honor of YoungArts co-founder and philanthropist, Ted Arison, this is a unique entertainment and event space. Designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, Ted’s is one of the most technologically-advanced catering venues in the region with state-of-the-art 360-degree video projection capabilities and impeccable acoustic design by Nagata Acoustics, enhancing the ambiance of the room and creating an exceptional experience for guests and performers.

WHERE EXHIBITIONS COME ALIVE
The two-story YoungArts Gallery designed by Frenk Gehry, opened in December 2013, hosts exhibitions year round by YoungArts master teachers, winners and alumni, including Olafur Eliasson, Daniel Arsham and Hernan Bas. Located in the Tower building, the YoungArts Gallery offers an immersive experience and a space that lends itself to cocktails or intimate dinners. The Gallery is also a nice transitional or welcome space for events taking place on the YoungArts Campus.

Rental Fees• Rates are based on a 5-hour event with a 6-hour load-in and 3-hour load-out. Additional time varies based on space.• Prices quoted reflect a 3.5% discount for payment by check or wire transfer. Furniture• A full inventory of furniture can be provided upon request. Availability is based on YoungArts programming and is subject to change. • Ex: folding chairs, lounge furniture, chandeliers, directors chairs, staging, podium and more.
IT Equipment• A full inventory of IT equipment can be provided upon request. Availability is based on YoungArts programming and is subject to change. • Ex: wireless microphones, projectors, screens, radios and more.
WiFi• A guest WiFi network for up to 100 users can be set up at no additional cost. Any network or bandwidth requirements beyond that should be sourced directly with the appropriate vendor.
Restrictions• There is a commercial kitchen located in Ted’s. For all other spaces, cooking and hot food preparation must be done in a catering tent outside. Except Ted’s, there are no open flames (i.e. candles) permitted in any of the indoor rental spaces.
Noise• The noise ordinance for outdoor spaces is Midnight. Indoor spaces are not subject to the noise ordinance, however noise must be kept at a reasonable level. Events taking place after 12:00am may be subject to a late-night surcharge.
Suggested Vendors• Vendors with liability insurance with an aggregate coverage of $2,000,000 are permitted to work in the YoungArts buildings. Events where alcohol is served require a liquor license, liquor liability coverage is to be carried for a limit of $5,000,000.00 per person. A suggested list of vendors can be found on pages #16-19.
