CORPORATE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INVASIVE SPECIES REMOVAL: Fully ‘dig’ into the Garden to help us eradicate invasive species that creep into our natural ecosystems and formal gardens. Invasive species are varieties of plants that are not native to this area and can cause damage to our existing native varieties of plants and other species. With more than 300 acres of property, invasive species removal is a never-ending project that continuously needs volunteer support.
MULCHING AND COMPOSTING: There are more than 110 acres of cultivated land here at the Garden. These 110 acres include trees, shrubs, planted gardens, and more. Multiple times throughout the year, re-application of mulch and compost is required to ensure the gardens are healthy and viable for unique horticultural installations.
HOLIDAYS AT THE GARDEN INSTALLATIONS: Holidays at the Garden is one of the most exciting times to be involved at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. More than 700,000 lights are installed, our Visitor’s Pavilion is transformed into a magical display, and model railroads are set in place to delight guests of all ages. Come join the team for a day you’ll never forget!
PAINTING PROJECTS: From signage to facilities to Garden installations, there are always painting projects that need completed here at the Garden. Our facilities team leads volunteer crews on projects that take you around our Four Seasons expanse to our half mile long Persimmon Trail.
SPECIAL EVENTS & EXHIBITS: The Garden hosts events and unique installations year round, from Earth Fest to the Hearts-A-Bustin’ 5K race, and everything in between. Volunteers are critical to ensuring these events are successful by helping with set-up, installation, craft preparation, activity assistance, break-down and more. We will match your group with an event or exhibit that fits your interests and needs.
CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIESEach year the Garden presents an array of public festivals, exhibitions, and programs that attract nearly 100,000 visitors annually. Corporations can partner with the Garden on one or more of our many unique programs and events and reach a highly desirable audience while supporting our mission. Sponsorship packages are customized to meet your company’s specific needs and offer a variety of benefits including cross-promotional opportunities that ensure high visibility and discounts on facility rentals.
