Directive Principles of State Policy and nation building

DPSP are ethical guidelines in part IV of the Constitution guidinggovernment policy.They contain “Instruments of Instruction” in a variety of policymatters for building a strong and equitable nation.For example, Art.38 and 39 speak of social and economic justice andreduction of inequality.Equity is the sine quo non of a united and strong nation.UCC in Art.44 is necessary for social integration and feeling ofoneness. Art.47 promises higher health standards: a precondition tobuild a powerful nation. A nation without internal divisions requiressocial justice: Art.46. Participative democracy gives a strongfoundation for nation building: Art.40(PRIs).
