Daikin Gas Tight Joints (DGT) For use with R410A/R32 refrigerant pipes
BDGTA
An advanced evolution in pipe design Daikin Gas Tight Joints (DGT) combine rubber packing and a screwed metal body, which offer gas-tight and rigid connections without brazing.
The patented “leverage method” holds the pipe mechanically, preventing pull-out.
The benefits of using DGT
• Time & labour saving o Simple installation process cuts short the
installation time o Cost & time saving with less admin work
(hot work permit) and safety (fire watcher) • Safety
o No brazing required, reducing fire risk o No fire watcher required
• Quality assurance o No special tools required o No special skills worker required o High quality and consistency of installation
The mechanism
As the nut turns, the “B” point-of-leverage corns are compressed and encroach the surface of the pipe. When the pull-out force increases, the corns encroach deeper to prevent the pipe from becoming loose.
Where can you use the DGT joints?

Excellent performance
Thanks to the unique double sealing method, the sealing performance is secured over a long period, even under severe conditions of high pressures and extreme temperatures.
Fire free connections
No brazing is needed on site, reducing installation cost and time and increasing the quality of the final installation.
Authorised standards
Full compliance with ISO 14903, proving safety and reliability of the system.
Durable under high pressure
Using the leverage method, the pull-out resistance is more than four times the maximum operating pressure.
Easy Installation
Low torque tightening means installation can completed with only one or two turns of a nut, without any special tools being required (only wrenches or spanners are used).
3 steps installation method
By using the marking gauge, draw the insertion depth line on the pipe surface.
Insert the pipe until the line disappears.
Tighten the nut until the green indicator disappears.
1. Green indicator should be hidden 2. Be sure to check the position of the depth line by the gauge end tail
