Recyclingefforts .will send girl to .Costa RicaIneverre, alized how dangerous '

milk cartons could be until the'other day when my daughter?

sliced her toe open on one while::running through the kitchen 'barefoot. ' -"

It all began with my feeble, .attempt to recycle. I don't have-a., ,problem with recycling, but -where do you put all the stuffwhile you're waiting for trash'day?

In my case, the recyclable trashhangs from the kitchen cabinetsin unattractive plastic grocerybags. And it's always in the wayof something. This time it was 'the dishwasher.

Someone must have moved itto get into the dishwasher, leav-ing it on the floor, lying in waitfor my unsuspecting daughter. She never had a chance. Thesharp milk carton edge got thebest of her toe and we thoughtshe might even have to havestitches. She didn't, but she didmiss a day of school, all in thename of recycling.

enough to attend "We Need ALittle Christmas" Dee. 19 and 20at Mudd Theater in Claremont. This Christmas musical was veryprofessionally produced by theCarly Moultrie Studios ofUpland.

It was obvious from the startthat the singers, who includedboth adults and children, hadreceived very good voice training

from Carly Moultrie, one of themost highly regarded children'svocal directors in the state.Moultrie was joined in producingthe musical by her two daugh-ters. Emily Moultrie is a singer, actress and recent graduate ofUSe's School of Cinema andMelissa Moultrie is an accom-plished Singer, dancer and award-winning choreographer whochoreographed the show.

The children, who were cos-tumed as clowns, jesters andother toys, sang, danced andtapped to a variety of modernChristmas numbers. All of themwere darling and did a wonderfuljob.

A song about Santa, "Too FatFor the Chimney" was especiallycute as done by the LollipopDolls - Priscilla Aguilar, AlexaAyala, Jennifer Brown, KaitlynHampton, Marissa Henkel,Spencer Leeb, Chandler Talleurand Alexis Green.

A group of older girls (theBarbie Dolls) - KatieChristopher, Audrey Cowie andChristina Pastore - sangr'SantaBaby." A show highlight was acute rendition of "Side by Side"

done by Raggedy Ann, CourtneyFranklin, and Raggedy Andy,Ruben Bravo. These two kids didan outstanding job of singing, dancing and tapping in unison.
