- Secretary’s minutes were read and approved.- Treasurer’s report was read and approved.- As of 8/31/13; ending balance of $1346.19Old Business:
- Bob & Esther Place won 5 Guys’ Manager’s Choice Award 8/15/13. Congrats to you both!- 2013 MCA Grand National Show @ Disneyworld held 8/30/13 – 9/01/13. Trophies to club members: Dave Hageman Gold Modified 1994 - 2011 Rich Novak Gold Modified 1994 - 2011 Don Stehle Gold Modified 1964 ½ - 1993 Ron Sliment 1st Place Occasional Driver 2002 - 2004 …way to - make our club proud at Mustangs at the Mick Yard !- Many club participants at Classic Reflections Car Show @ Wickham Park 9/07/13.- Bayside Lakes of Palm Bay held show also 9/07/13 @ Beef O’Brady’s; sponsored by Showin to benefit our local Boy and Girl Scouts. Bill Miller took 1st Place Ernie Place won Best in Show. - Anna & Rich Peek won 1st Place @ the Fun Ford Weekend.- Lynn White, T.J. Tschantz and Don Turner participated in Patriot Run.- Ted Ostovich and Don Stehle participated in Shriner’s Show held 9/14/13 sponsored by Melbourne Fire Dept. and Dragon Slayers Bike Club to benefit Camp Amigo.New Business:
- Club cruise-in at Beef O’Brady’s on Babcock 10/04/13.- Assembly of God Car Show in Cocoa 10/05/13.- SPCA Car Show in Titusville 10/05/13.- MOB Rock & Roll Revival @ Melbourne Auditorium 10/05/13 to benefit Nana’s House.- Defenders Car Show @ Melbourne Airport, FIT Hanger 10/12/13.- Mark your calendars for some holiday fun at the Light Fest @ Wickham Park 12/08/13.- Rock Out the Violence Show looking for new venue for 2014 fund raiser. Date to be determined. SCMC was credited for raising 50 % of proceeds from April 2013 Show. - Local High Schools are looking for member convertibles to participate in the following HomeComings: 9/27/13 Heritage High 10/18/13 Palm Bay H.S. 10/31/13 Merritt Island H.S. Kurt Heber, Ted Ostovich, Ron Sliment and Don Stehle have been generous in participating in these events. Any additional member convertibles who could help in these events would be appreciated; Merritt Island is looking for 12 cars.- Rich Novak continues to work on new website for SCMC. Don Stehle has volunteered to help with web design. Host providers will cost approx.. $5.00 - $10.00 per month.- Anna & Rich Peek have ordered new plates for 2013 show trophies. They have put in many man hours collecting donations for goodie bags and raffles. Thank you both for all you’ve done and continue to do to make our annual show a success!- SCMC position of Secretary to be filled in upcoming vote for 2014 Club Officers. Program:

The Space Coast Mustang Club is a proud member of the Mustang Club of America (MCA). The MCA maintains a liaison with the Ford Motor Company, promotes national activities, and encourages close relationships between all Regional Groups.Membership is open to all persons 16 years old or older, who either own or are interested in Mus-tang automobiles. Annual dues are $20.00.A national MCA membership is not required to join our club, but it is strongly encouraged. Annual dues for the MCA are $50.00 (http://www.mustang.org)Monthly dinner meetings are held the 4th Tuesday of the month at various restaurants announced in the newsletter or on our website (www.spacecoastmustang.com). Dinner starts at 6:00 PM and the meeting starts at 7:00 PM. Dinner will continue into the meeting and on occasion there will be presentations from members or advertisers. Members receive a monthly newsletter, a schedule of Mustang and other events, with free ads for members to sell cars / parts, along with other pertinent information. The club holds an annual picnic, a Christmas party, road rallies, and an annual car show sponsored by Palm Bay Ford, our great sponsor. MCA members receive a national magazine, “MUS-TANG TIMES”, an informative source for restoring, preserving, modifying and enjoying Mustangs of all years, interesting news stories, and free classified ads plus member discounts.
