The CH-47 has two power distribution panels, or PDPs,
behind the pilots in the cockpit. Apex manufacturers and
assembles the entire 35” tall structure.
This part is extraordinarily complex and includes the following:
• 8 machined parts
• 36 sheet metal parts
• 76 helicoils
• 270 nut plates
• 810 rivets & screws
• full secondary processing (in-house)
This is just one of many projects that we’ve done since 1989 in our Aerospace Group.
