Full-time students aged 25 or below are eligible for
Government means-tested grants and loans as operated

programmes for full-time students.
Scholarships and other support schemes
Students are eligible for Government scholarships and the
programmes qualified for other support schemes reserved

# All students must present a "Work-based Portfolio". A pre-semester seminar and meetings throughout the second year of the programme will be provided to assist students in preparing their portfolios.
Programme DeliveryThe teaching of the programme is conducted by local academics and practitioners. The programme is administered by the School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE), City University of Hong Kong. De Montfort University closely monitors the progress and quality of the programme. De Montfort staff and the External Examiners visit the programme regularly throughout the year.
Student SupportStudents registered in the programme will be issued a SCOPE Student ID Card and a De Montfort University student card. Services provisions include access to CityU's Run Run Shaw Library, Computing Services Centre, University’s e-Portal, electronic services and student LAN, as well as electronic resources provided by De Montfort University.
Assessment and AwardAssessment for taught modules is by coursework and examination. A student will be awarded a BA (Hons) Business Administration and Management, conferred by De Montfort University, upon successful completion of the programme.
Further Study OpportunitiesOur graduates have been admitted to master degree programmes in local universities, such as MBA in City University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and so on. Some graduates chose to study abroad.
This honours degree programme in Business Administration and Management (BABAM) which has now been running at SCOPE, CityU for over ten years has produced some 1,500 graduates. DMU’s management programmes were recently ranked as 1st out of 74 institutions for UK student satisfaction. 課程的教學模式多元化,以「創意市場推廣與管理」科為例,導師要求我們分為不同小組,模擬營運一家企業,每個小組代表企業內不同的部門,需要互相合作,始能發揮最佳的管理成效;這種學習模式亦有助培訓學員之間的團隊合作精神。「服務營運管理」一科亦相當有趣,該科深入探討服務企業背後的運作流程與管理模式,這些知識對我現在旅行社工作很有幫助。
「商業行政及管理(榮譽)學士」課程內容全面,商業管理各個範疇皆涵蓋其中,市場學科尤為有趣。除了學習理論知識,還有機會嘗試替企業設計模擬市場推廣方案。
「企業策略」一科非常有趣,這科以單一企業為研究對象,分析公司的背景、現時營運的情況及未來的發展策略,也會探討潛在對手對企業發展的影響,並非只單純觀察個別部門對公司的貢獻,大大加深我對企業整體運作的了解。課程導師具有商界工作經驗,給予我們很多求職擇業的建議,助我們訂立未來發展的方向。
課程師資優良,導師不但教學用心,亦曾在商界工作,有豐富實戰經驗。上課時,經常引用真實的商業案例作輔助說明,讓我們更容易掌握繁雜的商業理論。
「工作為本個案研究」環節,讓我有機會採用在工作時遇到的難題作為研究題目,更在小組導師的引導下,透過從課程中所學的商業知識,配合多角度思考,最終構思了可行的解決方法,在學習及工作兩方面皆有得益。
可與一眾不同背景的同學共同學習,人際網絡大為擴闊,而彼此互動交流及討論,讓我有機會了解他人對同一事情的看法,及後在思考及分析問題時,可嘗試跳出舊有的框框,嘗試引入其他專業人士的觀點,往往有意想不到的得著。
我只須在本港攻讀一個學士學位課程,便能同時把海外教學優勢與本地特色兼容並蓄,既有助拓展國際視野,也可對本地、內地以至歐美地區等環球市場的最新發展增進了解,實在十分難得。
