PurposeIntroduceAssemblyProcessinProjectSystems.

OverviewAssemblyProcessisusedtoplanproductsorservicesthatareproducedorcarriedoutrepetitively.Advantagebeingchangesmadeinthesaledocumentautomaticallyupdatedinthenetworkandviceversa.Helpskeepingprojectteamandsalesteamonsamepage.AssemblyprocessomitsMRPplanningandgeneratesanoperativeorderdirectly.

AssemblyProcessFlow:Example

Createsalesorder,quotation,RFQwithRequesteddeliverydate,quantiyrequirementqtyanddatecopiedfromsalesordertothenetwork,backwardschedulingiscarriedoutforthenetworkandavailablilitycheckisdoneforMaterial.systemproposeddateifwecannotmeetthegivendate.

MaterialwithNetworkispopulated

Plannedcost,confirmeddeliverydateprovidedbythesystemBasedonthequantitiesthenetworkisadjustedaccordingswithrespecttoExecutionfactor.

iv)WBSandProductionOrderproductionoredeismanuallyassignedtotheproject.
