An RA…By NGH Staff
I created a bulletin board to show residents that RAs are not just in the position to enforce policy, and that there is much more to being an RA than that.
I asked my entire staff to write down a couple of things that being an RA was for them and then turned it into a bulletin board. Consider adding pictures of the staff next to their quotes about why they wanted to be a RA.
My supervisor copied the board and we placed it in all the buildings. It is a great way to help residents associate the names of the RAs with their faces, it lets residents know staff motivations and why they are in the position, and it educates residents about the role of the RA.
