Abertis is the international market leader in the management of toll roads and terrestrial and satellite telecommunication infrastructures.
The Group, with a presence in 12 countries and over 16,000 employees, is geared towards value creation through infrastructure investments that contribute to economic and social development in these areas.
Since its inception in 2003, Abertis has invested over 15,000 million euro in the countries in which it operates.
Nowadays around two thirds of the Group’s revenue (62%) is generated outside Spain. Especially important in this respect are France, Brazil and Chile.
Over the last four years, Abertis has doubled the number of its concessions and kilometres of toll roads managed.

With more than 7,300 kilometres of toll roads under its direct management, Abertis is the world’s leading firm in this sector. The operation in 2012 to consolidate nine toll road concession operators in Brazil, acquired in conjunction with Brookfield Infras-tructures, and another three in Chile has made the Group into a leading international manager of high capacity main roads.
BRAZIL 3,250 KILOMETRESThrough Arteris the Group manages 21% of the concession toll roads in Brazil in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Río de Janeiro, Santa Catarina and Paraná.
FRANCE 1,761 KILOMETRESAbertis operates in France through sanef, which controls five of the seven roads lea-ding into the Île de France and also the traffic connecting Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg to France and the United Kingdom.
SPAIN 1,512 KILOMETRESAbertis is the leading operator of high capacity main roads in Spain where it covers 59% of all toll roads. It manages the country’s main toll road corridors, including the AP-7, the AP-6, the AP-68 and the AP-2.
CHILE 771 KILOMETRESFollowing the recent acquisition of three toll road concession operators, Abertis has become the main toll road operator in the country where it manages a total of six concession operators.
REST OF THE WORLD 425 KILOMETRESAbertis also operates on high capacity roads in Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia and the United Kingdom and manages electronic toll systems in Canada, Ireland and the United States.

TERRESTRIALBroadcastingAbertis manages a network of 3,300 sites in Spain. The company is com-mitted to high-definition television, Premium DTT services and driving pro-ducts such as hybrid DTT and Ultra High Definition television.
TowersAbertis has positioned itself as a key player in the future development of the mobile telephony sector in which it already has over 3,000 towers in Spain and Italy.
Smart CitiesAbertis is contributing to technological innovation through solutions ai-med at setting up smart cities with pilot schemes in cities such as Barcelo-na, London, Genoa and Bologna.
SATELLITESAbertis is the majority shareholder in and operator of the Hispasat satellite company, the leader in its segment in Latin America with seven satellites in service.

Abertis has been listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange as part of the Íbex 35 since the latter began in 1992, and it is also on the other major international indexes such as Standard & Poor’s Europe 350, the FTSEurofirst 300 and the FTSE IIS CG.
Abertis’s key objectives include ensuring sustainable compensation to its shareholders based on a combination of dividend payments and a yearly bonus issue.
The cumulative return on investment for Abertis shareholders since 2005 comes to 200%.
Over recent years Abertis’s stock has easily outperformed Spain’s Ibex 35 index. Its market capitalisation has risen by 44% since 2011.
