Abstract

A task for defensive players in soccer is filling in the

temporal and spatial gap to offensive players. This

study examined what bodily cues defensive players

make use of in order to start filling the gap. The result

showed that defensive players used visual field,

posture, center of gravity and distance to the ball of

the offensive players as the cues for determining or

changing their access points. Keywords Soccer, Defense, Temporal and
