RYSIN Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Oncologic dispensary FUNCTION OF TOPOMETRIC PREPARATION IN MODERN PLANNING OF RADIATION THERAPY FOR ONCOLOGIC PATIENTS
In the article is expounded the analyses of radiation therapy effectiveness – for the patients at radiation depart-ment of Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Oncologic dispensary, who received treatment concerning cervix of the uterus cancer and maxillary sinus cancer – during the years of 2009-2013. In comparison was taken the treatment effectiveness and heaviness of radiation complications within the group of patients for whom the topometry preparation was held with the help of anatomotopometry atlases, isodos maps and also group of patients for whom the topometry preparation was held with the help of KT-scanes and three-dimensional planning system W PLAN 2000. With all the patients of the second group was registered reliably bet-ter clinical result of radiation therapy for the reason of lower quantity and heaviness of radiation complications at the conditions of giving optimal therapeutic dose.
