The use of colloquialism in the heading as stated; ‘ Some fake persona would never work... I grew up on television..’ allows the reader to form a bond almost with the artist as the magazine is using the same mode of address in which the readers would use, allowing the readers to feel connected with the artist.

The fonts appear to be very simple reinforcing the simplicity of the spread but also the magazine itself as its a very laid back , clam magazine, making the readers feel comfortable with what they are reading.

The colour red has been used only in the heading where drake has been quoted to give him a sense of authority, showing his importance within the spread as he is such a well known successful rapper.

Vibe have chosen to display two large main images of Drake aside to one to show to the readers how important he is as an artist and how well known he is so providing the readers with more than one image allows them to feel privileged that they have been able to see more of Drake .

The image on the right of Drake shows him smiling maybe laughing as he stares to the floor creating a sense of shyness as he turns away from the camera, appealing to many females as Drake is seen as a sexual desire for women

The layout of the spread appears quite simple reinforcing the brand identity as Vibe’s double page spreads all appear fairly simple structured.
