A few words on the 9 x 19 mm for Urban Police and Counter Terrorism use. The 9 x 19 mm is by far the most widely used cartridge worldwide. There are many reasons for this advantage such as economy, universal availability and the widest choice of different loads with specific bullet perfor- mance. An example of this would be to carry standard duty service ammunition in the USW, but carrying armor piercing ammunition in a spare magazine, if the situation occurs that might require engaging a subject wearing body armor. Most Police shooting incident occurs at 7 meters or less. Most active shooter or ter- rorist shooting incidents occur at 25 meter or more. The USW can perform at both distances while not over- penetrating at close range but maintaining enough en- ergy at extended ranges for effective terminal ballistics. Two other points where the 9 x 19 mm is superior to rifle cartridges are the facts that is does not over pe- netrate and that it is not too far reaching beyond nor- mal shooting distances. Both points are crucial when it comes to engagements in an urban environment with innocent bystanders around, like a terror attack. B&T AG P.O. U S W - U N I V E R S A L S E RV I C E W E A P O NThe USW® is not just a new weapon but an entire new category of weapon that fills the gap between Pistol, Submachine Gun and Police Carbine. The design will enable any police office to engage targets effectively from 0 out to 75 meters (82 yards). This is thanks to the totally new concept that combines the latest Aimpoint NANO® Red Dot Sight, integrated Side Folding Stock and the clever patented design.

The current threat is not anything that Europe has faced before. The terrorist are always armed with military assault weapons. This fact gives the terrorist the advantage when confronting police or other security personnel because the engagement distances are much further than with any typical criminal. A standard pistol does not provide enough accuracy and range in these situations. The extended range plus the added burden of stress makes this a very difficult situation for any service to deal with quickly. That is the reason for the USW. It will equal the playing field for law enforcement at the moment it is most needed.

The USW is a Swiss designed, engineered and produced service weapon that combines the size of a normal duty pistol but extends the range, accuracy and effectiveness to that of a 9 mm police carbine. It is ideal for general Police work but also for Airport Police, Railway Police, Customs Service, Harbor Security and Air Marshals. Anywhere, where the chance for a longer distance shot is possible.

The weapon is a complete system. It is delivered with a B&T designed Level 3 retention holster and the new, state of the art, Aimpoint NANO® micro Red Dot Sight, the newest and most modern sight produced by the well-known Swedish company. The kit also includes the B&T Advanced Pistol Light (APL), 3 magazines (17, 19, 30 rounds), a single point sling with sling loop, a cleaning kit and a polymer transportation box. The various types of attach-ments for the holster (belt/thigh/MOLLE) will provide safe and reliable portage of the weapon during all missions. The user does not require any further investment to put the weapon into service.

The USW-A1 has a DA/SA trigger and a ambidextrous decoking lever. The folding stock is integrated into the polymer-aluminum hybrid receiver of the weapon. It is not an add-on part. The top slide has unique flared ears to facilitate racking the slide and normal manipulation. The bridge of the receiver which mounts the Aimpoint is fixed. The Aimpoint does not move and stays stationary during the cycling process. The frame is also machined with a Picatinny/NAR (NATO Accessory Rail) to accept any type of light or laser pointer on the market.

The features of the USW will enable the shooter to produce very tight groups at 25 meters / 27 yards and to place first round incapacitating hits at distances up to 75 meters / 82 yards, even under the stress of a life-threatening confrontation. The purpose designed holster will enable the operator to draw and fire the weapon in less than 1.0 seconds at a target without the stock extended. Unfolding the stock during the draw process adds less than 0.4 seconds.

1. Stocks – The GL06 comes with a folding, fixed-length stock (midd-le). The optional telescopic folding stock (top) has an additional clamp-on cheek rest to add 12 mm in case special scopes with a higher mount are used. The optional helmet stock (below) will allow to use the GL06 while properly wearing a ballistic face visor or a protective mask.Vertical Foregrips – The B&T quick detachable vertical foregrips provi-des the shooter with a stable shooting grip.

2.Carry Systems – As the operator never knows the exact task ahead of him, carrying a sufficient amount of ammunition is crucial. Therefor B&T offers a variety of ammunition carry-ing systems for the GL06. Besides a 5 and 11 round drop leg carrier there is a tactical vest holding up to 20 rounds available. A special „rea-dy to go“ backpack containing the launcher, two 11 round carrier and a hydration bladder is also offered. The cartridges are easy to extract from all devices, resulting in a high rate of fire.

3. Reloading Press – This accessory is an absolute must when an agency facing tight budgets wants to train its operators at regular intervals but does not want to cut the number of training rounds fired. One can easily reload the SIR/SIR-X cartridge in a matter of seconds using a very in-expensive 9 mm propulsion cart-ridge. This brings the costs per round fired down to less than 3 Euros, making the SIR/SIR-X munition by far the most economically priced 40 mm cartridge on the market.

The GL06 comes, ready to be deployed , complete with a Aimpoint Micro T-1, a 1 or 2 point carrying sling and an instruction manual. To customize the GL06 for special customer needs, a variety of accessories are available.

AccessoriesSpecial Purpose 40 mm muntions by B&T

B&T provides a wide range of 40 mm munitions that includes the popular SIR (Safe Impact Round), SIR-X (Safe Impact Round - extended range), dye marking, impact CS, impact OC, rubber shot, muzzle blast OC, ballistic smoke, ballistic CS and muzzle blast CS (left to right).

Cost Effective Training System

Training will make the difference between having a successful mission or a disaster. This is just as true with less lethal sys-tems as with any other type of weapons used by professionals. The trouble with most other 40 mm systems on the market is that the ammunition costs too much to train the entire unit and thus only certain people are actually proficient. This problem is solved by the B&T reloading system. It will enable any agency or unit of any size to ensure all personnel are trained on the GL06 using SIR munitons at about 10% of what normal 40 mm training costs.

To concept is quite simple. The SIR cartridge is reloadable at least 30 times. It is actually very simple and easy to do, just recover the spent projectiles downrange, eject the propulsion cartridge using the B&T designed reloading press, reload the 40 mm cartridge with the inexpensive 9 mm blank propulsion cartridge supplied by B&T and snap the projectile back on the polymer cartridge using hand force. It is that easy and it takes less than 20 seconds per cartridge!

The cost of this relaoding system will pay for itself in just a matter of less than 30 shots. The money saved after another 100 shots will pay for the GL06 Launcher! The numbers speak for themselve - it doesn‘t cost but it pays to use the GL06 system, launcher, SIR and reloading system.

G L 0 6 - 4 0 M M L A U N C H E R SYST E MIntegrated NATO Accessory Rail

Machined into the barrel, the NAR (aka Picatinny Rail) results in perfect alignment for outstanding accuracy.

Protected Front Sight

Keeps the front sight protected during any kind of rough handling.

Oversized Triggerguard

This not only provides more room for the trigger finger while wearing heavy public order gloves but also minimizes the risk of an accidental discharge.

Folding Stock

The positive lock folding stock of the GL06 folds into a very tight 385 mm package making it the smallest 40 mm launcher in the industry. There are several other optional stocks available.

The 40 mm cartridge is one of the most universal and flexible tools available today for modern law enforcement and military forces. The depth of the 40 mm munition family ranges from less lethal impact, crowd control to gas muni-tions for law enforcement and public order operations. However it is useles without an adequate laucher.

The GL06 was designed from the ground up as a standalone, lightweight, accurate, ergonomic and fast to shoot less lethal only launcher. Its polymer construction and hi-tech coatings make the launcher not only impervious to the harshest conditions but also extremely light weight (more than 25% lighter than competitive launchers) and con-venient to carry whether as a secondary or primary weapon. The GL06 weighs a mere 2 kg depending on stock selection, making it the lightest 40 mm launcher in the industry! The 100% ambidextrous design allows any operator, right or left handed, to be safe, fast (up to 15 shots per minute) and accurate (less than 10 cm at 50 meters) under any conditions. The breech release forces the operator to remove the finger from the trigger, place it on the latch and push forwards (the opposite direction to pulling the trigger).

The B&T 40mm SIR rounds are the most accurate, safe and economic 40mm less lethal munition on the market today. It will ensure the human rights of the protestors and the security of the users. The design utilizes lightweight, spin- stabilized projectiles for optimal energy and accuracy. The munitions can be fired from any of 40 mm launchers but for optimal accuracy the GL06 is recommended. All B&T SIR munitions are safe to use from 1 meter to 50 meters except the SIR-X which is designed for longer engagement distances.

There is a selection of munition with different payloads. It is possible to deploy OC, CS, inert, or marking rounds that disperses upon impact with the target. The soft foam nose of the standard SIR dissipates the impact energy thus ma-king it very safe. It will not penetrate human tissue or fracture human ribs.

The BT SIR family has been developed in the highest tradition of Swiss technical expertise and has even been tested and deemed acceptable by the University Bern, Institut für Rechtmedizin, Zentrum Forensische Physik / Ballistik, Dr. sc. forens., Dr. med. h.c. Beat P. Kneubuehl. This means that you can be assured that the SIR is safe and effective.

Sliding Safety

The sliding safety (gun can optionally be configured without any external safety) is quick and easy to operate even with heavy gloves.

Pistol Grip

The design enables the operator to maintain control of the weapon when moving but also allows any operator with small hands to manipulate the breech release with one hand.

Adjustable Rear Sight

Protected Rear Sight – Windage adju-stable with a simple screw driver. No need for special adjustment tools.

Aimpoint® Micro TL

The ultra compact red dot sight provides fast and accurate target acquisition for all users regardless of expertise.

Shown in actual size

Quick Detachable Vertical Foregrip

Provides the operator a stable shooting grip and keeps the support hand well away from the muzzle (optional acc.).

Additional NATO Accessory Rails

Lateral and lower NAR rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o´clock position for use with lights, lasers and other accessories.

Ambidextrous Breech Release

This design increases operator safety by forcing the operators to remove the finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard during the reload. The design is so that even an operator with small hands can open it easily.

Double Action Only Trigger

The Double Action Only trigger (DAO) is both quick and safe, specially in a high stress enviroment, e.g. when faced with an aggressive mob of hooligans.

Maximum User Safety

As the risk of mixing up and accidental-ly firing a high velocity 40mm military cartridge exists, the GL06 is designed to withstand the firing of such cartridges without endangering the user.

APC9-P Carbine (BT-36005) APC9-SD (BT-36024)

APC45 (BT-36020) APC45 Version

B&T believes that the .45 ACP is not dead. As a matter of fact we believe that it has many uses in today law enforcement world. There has been a noticeable increase in the desire for a carbine or a sub-machine gun firing larger slower bullets than the recent crop of weapons designed to fire light, fast bullets. This puts the APC45 in a unique position of being one of the lightest and most compact .45 ACP carbines on the market today. Another interesting point is that the hydraulic buffer reduces the recoil of the .45 ACP cartridge. This allows a tight shot group with a three round burst.

1. Stock – While the APC9/APC45 comes with a foldable but not length adjustable stock (top), two other foldable telescopic stocks are available. The telescopic stock (middle) has an additional clamp-on check rest to add an extra 12 mm in case special scopes (e.g. night vison) with a higher mount are used. The helmet stock (below) will ena-ble the operator to use the APC while proper-ly wearing a ballistic face visor, a protective mask or SCUBA gear. The telescopic stock (lowermost) does not widen the dimensions of the gun when collapsed.

2. BT Weapon Mounted Light – This state-of-the art tactical illuminator was designed from the very beginning for B&T by the well-known INFORCE company as weapon light not as a handheld flash light modified to weapon use. It is very lightweight (100 gr), the solid state design is impervious to shocks and powerful enough to produce more than 125 lumens of output. The light is small in size (10cm length), does not require cables which can easily break and is activated with a simple pressure switch designed to be easy to ope-rate with gloves.

3. Brass Catcher – This accessory is anabsolute must when working in, on or around vehicles, ships and aircraft. The containment of the hot brass is important wherever com-bustible materials are present. The brass catcher mounts directly on the right side NAR/Picatinny rail. It pivots easily and quickly for manipula-tions and safety inspections.Quick Detachable Vertiacl Foregrip – Provides the shooter with a stable shootign grip and keeps the support hand away from the muzzle. There are several versions with a retractable bipod available.

3

4. Magazines and Magazine Clamps – B&T offers a variety of magazine sizes, suitable for every task the operator might face. i.e. the 15 round magazine (12 rounds .45 ACP) for concealed carry within a close protection team or the 30 round magazine (25 rounds .45) for overt missions like SWAT interventions. B&T additionally offers a magazine clamp. It will permit the user to mount two magazines together in parallel when seated in the maga-zine well. This will enable the operator to make swift and efficient magazine changes in any tactical situation. B&T also produces a magazine pouch that will fit both magazines clamped together.

5. Sound Suppressors – Due to the many advantages suppressors offer, these accesso-ries are a must with modern police and military weapons. As learned in the actual asymmetrical conflicts a good suppressor will bring safety and security to the user. Some of the most noticeable benefits are sound and muzzle flash reduction, command & control, friend/foe identification and of course hearing protection. B&T offers several suppressors, which can be attached to the APC9/APC45 within seconds and without any tools. A suppressor does not degrade accuracy, but rather in many cases improves it.

6. Manipulation Gun – The red manipulation ver-sion is an inert gun, where all parts are ma-chined as not to be interchangeable with live weapons. It is impossible to switch out parts to make it a live weapon. However all controls function identically to the live weapon, giving the student a completely realistic but complete-ly safe training “weapon”. Training Ammunition Gun – B&T also offers a blue training model for such ammunition as Force on Force®, Simunition® and UTM. These inter-active marking ammunitions are a must for modern professional training.

APC9/APC45 - ADVANCED POLICE CARBINE

APC9-SD/APC45-SD - ADVANCED POLICE CARBINE9 x 19 mm/.45 ACP

Based on the proven APC, the APC-SD is an extremely sophisticated design that will enable the operator, anywhere under any circumstances, to deploy a fully suppressed carbineor submachine gun while using standard 9 mm/.45 ACP ammunition! Silent superiority.

The APC-SD will minimize the “Murphy´s Law Factor” in your operations. Murphy’s Law (Anything that can go wrong will go wrong) is an old military rule that applies to all modern military and police operations worldwide in every country and under every situation. This is especially true when it comes to logistics.

The APC-SD has been ingeniously designed to accept normal supersonic 9 mm FMJ and Hollow Point ammunition (> 7.5 g / 115 grs) but will reduce the velocity of this bullet down to subsonic levels. This is not neccessary with the APC45-SD as the .45 ACP is allready subsonic.Therfore having a stock of subsonic ammunition is unnecessary and the risk of „Murphy“ interfering in operations when stealth in covert operations is a requirement. This could be the shooting of street lights, guard dogs, car tires and other forms of target interdiction.

The two loudest sources of noise when firing a weapon are greatly reduced by the sophisticated design of the APC-SD. One is the sound of the bullet breaking the sound arrier. This is remedied by the holes which are ported on the base of the barrel near the chamber. As part of the propelling ga-ses escaping trough theses holes into the suppressor, the bullet will not be accelerated to supersonic speed. The second are the hot propelling gases leaving the muzzle of the weapon. This is prevented by the state-or-the-art suppressor integrated on the APC-SD.

Both, the APC9-SD and the APC45-SD, are the perfect solution when a deliberated and proven sub-machinegun is needed for any kind of special operations.

The APC556 comes complete with a set of foldable sights, a detachable vertical foregrip, a 1 or 2 point carrying sling, two 30 round polymer magazines, a cleaning kit, an instruction manual and a polymer transportation case.

Accessories

1. Stocks – The APC556 comes with a fold-able and length adjustable stock. As an op-tion a clamp-on check rest, to add an extra 12 mm in case special optics (e.g. night vison) with a higher mount are chosen, is available. The helmet stock will enable the operator to use the APC while wearing a ballistic face visor, a protective mask or SCUBA gear. The skeleton stock is foldable but not length adjustable. The retractable stock (bottom) does not increase the width of the gun when stored.

2. BT Weapon Mounted Light – This state of the art tactical illuminator was designed from the very beginning following B&T specifica-tions by the well known INFORCE compa-ny as a weapon light not as a handheald flashlight modified to weapon use. It is very lightweight (100gr) in spite of the 100 % so-lid state, shock proof design. It produces a blinding 125 Lumens of output. The light is small in size (10cm length), does not require cables which can easily break and is activa-ted with a simple pressure switch designed to be easy to operate with gloves.

3. Brass Catcher – This accessory is an absolu-te must when working in, on or around vehi-cles, ships and aircraft. The containment of the hot brass is important wherever conbusti-ble materials are present. The B&T designed brass catcher mounts directly on the right side NATO Accessory Rail (NAR). It pivots easily and quickly for manipulations and safety inspections. On the range a brass cat-cher makes cleaning up quick and easy.

4. Sound Suppressor – Due to the many advan-tages they offer, suppressors are a must with modern police and military tactics. As learned in the actual assymetrical conflicts a good suppressor will bring safety and secu-rity to the user. Some of the direct noticeable benefits are sound and muzzle flash reduc-tion, command & control, friend / foe identi-fication and of course hearing protection. The B&T suppressor can be attached to the APC556 within seconds and without any tools. It does not degrade accuracy, but rather in many cases improves it.

B&T has listened carefully to its partners in the law enforcement and special operations community and has decided to engineer a totally new police carbine in 5,56 x 45 mm (.223 Rem). This weapon truly represents an evolution in the field of small arms. The B&T Swiss design and engineering team has taken into con-sideration the evolution of production technics, hi-tech materials, and the use of state-of-the-art accessories that any operator will appreciate. The weapon will serve any operator for many years to come. It takes into consideration that a long arm is a collective weapon for most policemen and the handgun is the personal weapon. This means that the carbine will be passed from various officers from different patrol shifts without the chance to test fire or confirm zero of the weapon.

The APC556 is designed for operators security and reliability. The safety can be put in the on position while the hammer is for-ward. This is different to AR-pattern rifle platforms in which the safety must be kept in the off position when stored.

The weapon also has many features that any knowledgeable professional will appreciate. These are: an ambidextrous charging handle, bolt release, magazine catch and safety lever. There are STANAG 4694 NATO accessory rails (NAR/Picatin-ny) on the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o‘clock positions, that accepts all manner of accessories such as lights, a brass catcher or hand-grips. The weapons´ bolt will stay open after the last round fired.

The weapon comes with the latest B&T engineered flash hider or muzzle break, also acting as solid mounting point for a sup-pressor.The built in hydraulic buffer reduces the felt recoil and therefore allows quick follow up shots when necessary. It greatly reduces the risk of flinching with recoil sensitive or less trained shooters. The weapon has a folding stock that facilitates getting in and out of patrol vehicles. It is also adjustable in length to compen-sate for body armor that many police officers wear and of course the different physical size and stature of each operator.

5. Quick Detachable Vertical Foregrip – Provides the shooter a stable shooting grip and keeps the support hand away from the muzzle. There are several versions with an retractable bipod available.

6. Bipods – In order to archive maximum accu-racy B&T offers a variety of foldable teles-copic bipods, which could be hinged down when necessary.

APC556-PDW PERSONAL DEFENSE WEAPON5.56 x 45 mm

Light, short barrel assault rifles are a good choice for SWAT teams, urban warfare but also for general police work with regards to the actual terror threats. Unfortunately a short barrel produces an immense sound and light signature. The B&T APC556-PDW with integrated suppressor solves these disadvantages, resulting in a perfect short barrel assault rifle.

B&T AGP.O. Box 1743608 Thun / SwitzerlandTel: +41 33 334 67 [email protected]

The APC556-PDW is lightweight, compact 5.56 carbine an with an integrated suppressor. The barrel of the APC556-PDW is 222 mm long. A relatively short barrel such as this will normally produce a sound of more than 169 dB. This is not only very irritating during combat, but will also create permanent hearing loss to anyone in the immediate vicinity of the weapon. The suppressor will not only produce a reduction of about 20 dB (148 dB), which is about 13 dB less than an unsuppressed 9 mm SMG (+/- 161 dB) but also reduce the muzzle flash significantly.

1. Stocks – The APC300 comes with a folda-ble and length adjustable stock. As an op-tion a clamp-on check rest, to add an extra 12 mm in case special optics (e.g. night vison) with a higher mount are chosen, is available. The helmet stock will enable the operator to use the APC while wearing a bal-listic face visor, a protective mask or SCUBA gear. The skeleton stock is foldable but not length adjustable. The retractable stock (bot-tom) does not increase the width of the gun when stored.

Q: Why not make it easy and produce a weapon on an M4 platform.A. The AR15/M4 platform was first introduced in 1958. It has ser-ved well for over fifty years but all major armies that have the M4 are looking for the next generation rifle to replace it. We feel that by not doing the extra work on the APC we would be dooming our custo-mer to perhaps ballistic advancement but mechanical obsolescence.

Q: How often does the weapon and suppressor need to be cleaned?A: As with all weapons that are used for real life combat, it is recommended to clean your weapon after every shooting session. The silencer however needs only periodical cleaning, we recom-mend cleaning it after 500 to 1,000 rounds fired.

Q: How loud is the .300 Whisper or the .300 Blackout compared to other sub-sonic cartridges? Please refer to the table listed below.

Q: Is there a way to tell the difference between a subsonic and a high velocity round in .300 Whisper/.300 Blackout?A: Yes, the subsonic rounds have a blue primer

Q: Will .300 Whisper cartridge function in a .300 Blackout chambered weapon and visa versa?A: A .300 Blackout cartridge will function in a weapon chambered for .300 Whisper. It may not be the same the other way around. This depends on the chambering of the weapon. The APC300 will func-tion perfectly on each caliber.

Q: What is the difference between the .300 Whisper and .300 Blackoutcartridge?A: Even so both cartridges look almost identical; there are a few very technical points to discuss on this subject. But the main points to remember are: The .300 Whisper from is CIP approved but not SAAMI certified. The .300 Blackout SAAMI certified but not CIP approved.

Q: What is the difference between SAAMI and CIP?A: CIP (Permanent International Commission for Firearms Testing) is the standard used in Europe by 14 countries and accepted by many nations worldwide. SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manu-facturers’ Institute) is used in the United States. There are technical differences on how ammunition is tested.

Q: The .300 Whisper as well as the .300 Blackout are designed as subsonic rounds. How does the supersonic round perform?A: The supersonic round is perfect for police work up to 300 meters. Penetration, accuracy and terminal ballistics are outstanding.

Q: How reliable is the APC300 if loaded with sub- and supersonic ammunition?A. The operator will feel a difference in recoil, however the action of APC300 is especially designed to work in full auto mode with both cartridges, even if you load them alternating in the magazine.

Q: Will the .300 Whisper/.300 Blackout be able to penetrate body amour? A: Yes, depending on the type of bullet even up to level IIIA.

Q: How do the .300 Whisper/.300 Blackout react if shot on a windshield?A: We have tested all four .300 Whisper cartridges (2 subsonic, 2 supersonic) from RUAG on windshields with soap behind it, accor-ding to German Police testing standards. Bullets are not deviated passing through the windshield and transfer an impressive amount of energy in the target.

Q: Why is the .300 Whisper/.300 Blackout better as a subsonic round than a .308 Win (7.62 x 51 mm)?A: Subsonic ammunition uses significantly less powder than high veloci-ty counterparts. When this reduced powder volume is ignited in a large capacity case (eg .308), it may ignite inconsistently, thus producing inconsistent velocities & ballistics. The smaller .300 Whisper case is more suited to reduced powder volumes & hence provides more consis-tent ignition.

APC3087.62 x 51 mm (.308 Win)

The APC family is finally complete! The introduction of the APC308 in a carbine and a DMR version has fulfilled the long stated goal of B&T to have the APC family of firearms with identical ergono-mics and controls in all major calibers (9 x 19 mm, .45 ACP, 5.56 x 45 mm/.223 Remington, .300 Blackout/.300 Whisper and now 7.62 x 51mm (.308 Win).

B&T has developed what many say is our finest work. The weapon possesses all the same handling characteristic and controls as all other members of the APC-family. This will reduce transition training time to any of the other APC platforms significantly. But this will not only save time, money, energy and of course needless stress in the classroom or on the range, but also in the armory. As more than 50 % of the parts throughout the APC family are the same, logistic cost are cut significantly as well as service time and costs.

The selector, magazine release, bolt handle, and bolt release are completely ambidextrous. The bolt handle can easily be changed to accommodate either left or right handed shooters. The standard stock folds to the right and can be fired in the closed position. The operator can optimize the weapon to any mission by being able to choose any of the five different stock options available.

The upper receiver is machined from solid aerospace quality alloy. The Picatinny/NAR rails in the 12 and 6 o’clock position are machined into the receiver and are not an add on, so there is nothing to get loose and ruin the weapon’s zero. The top rail runs along the entire receiver of the weapon. This provides 420 mm of space to mount any type of optic plus additional NVD, Thermal Sights or Booster on the market. The bottom rails runs 155 mm to accommodate bipods, laser designators or handgrips.

Please see backside for further details.

APC3087.62 x 51 mm (.308 Win)

To accommodate the different needs for a 7.62 x 51 mm (.308 Win) rifle, B&T offers two versions of the APC308: the standard APC308 in a carbine configuration with a 330 mm barrel and the APC308 - DMR with a 480 mm barrel. Both versions have a cold-hammer-forged barrel made in Germany. The 1:12 right hand twist rate is to accommodate the widest range of bullet weights. With match grade ammu-nition the APC308 will produce 1 MOA accuracy. The barrel is threaded and is delivered with a B&T designed flash hider. This flash hider provides excellent reduction of muzzle flash and will accept the B&T Rotex-IIA suppressor. The Rotex-IIA is widely used in the world by professional users and the perfect choice for the APC308 for all kind of missions. A selector switch in the gas block can be set to „suppres-sor mode“ in order to provide perfect function when using the suppressor.

The lower receiver group is a precision machined alloy. The adaptable A2-style pistol grip is produced by Magpul and represents the latest in ergonomics and operator comfort. The weapon accepts 7.62 x 51mm Magpul SR25/M110/AR10 magazines. These are available in 10, 20 and 25-round sizes. The selec-tor and trigger guard are oversized to accommodate gloved hands.

The APC308 is the perfect choice when anPolice Carbine or DMR rifle with powerful and long range capable cartridge is needed. As a member of the APC family it offers training, fighting and cost advan-tages like no other family of weapons on the market.

The APR comes standard with a one chamber muzzle brake that reduces the recoil felt by the operator. The in-geniously designed suppressor can be mounted on directly on the muzzle brake to save time in the field. The muzzle brake is available with or without an emergency flip up sight.

An optional three chamber muzzle break is available. It passes less recoil on to the shooter, which is beneficial if many rounds are fired subsequently. For this muzzle break a special lightweight suppressor with QD-attachment was developed. The suppressor can be mounted/dismounted in less than 5 seconds.

For customers preferring a Harris bipod, B&T offers the APR with this as an option. It is quickly and easily attached to the UIT rail in the lower fore-end. The UIT-Rail can also be used to mount specialized shooting slings.

B&T is proud to partner with Kahles Optics from Austria as the optics chosen as stand-ard on the APR. The optic chosen and quali-fied is the Kahles K624i, a 6 – 24 x 56 with illuminated reticle. Accessories like lens cov-ers and kill flash filters are available as well as different reticles. On customer request however, any other optic can be mounted.

Trajectory comparison .308 Win vs. .338 LM

The .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge (8.6 x 70 mm) is a combat proven round that is used by virtually all NATO partners and allies as an excellent alternative to the .50 BMG for long range target interdiction. It processes a much large choice of loads and ogives than the .50 and .300 Win Mag combined. It offers excellent flight ballistics and powerful terminal ballistics on the target. It can provide head size accuracy out to 600 meters and penetrate military body armor at ranges up to 1000 meters. Unlike the .50 BMG, the .338 LM round is fully compliant with the Geneva Convention for use as an anti-personal roll. It is fully NATO codified with many rounds already being available via the NATO supply system.

A hard case for aircraft travel, a hard case for normal transport or a soft case that can be carried like a backpack. The latter enables the operator to climb into elevated shooting positions or to rappel from a helicopter in order to reach his shooting position.

This optional version of the right side folding buttstock folds over the bolt handle and thus gives the rifle an extra small profile when transported. The height adjustable cheek rest and the height and length adjustable butt plate provide optimal adaption to the shooter, re-gardless of the shooting position.

The APR Rifle is a professional sniper system intended to be used by military and law enforcement professionals. It was specially designed as a sniper system not just a rifle and is ready to shoot right out of the box. B&T has understood that snipers may face a broad variety of both tactical and logistical obstacles situations to perform their duties. From a tactical view, these may vary from urban police sniping at relatively close ranges such as from across a parking lot to military sniping on distances far beyond one kilometer. That is why the APR is available in different calibers and also in different barrel length. Furthermo-re B&T offers different accessories in order to customize the APR even further.

It is common knowledge that a bolt action rifle is superior to any semi-automatic rifle in accuracy. Another reason why the bolt action rifle is the weapon of choice for any situa-tion requiring a high degree of precision is that many modern .308 special application sni-per rounds do not function reliably in a semi-automatic weapon. For long distance military applications, the smooth bolt action is fast enough for a follow up shot if required.

The APR is available in the two most widely used and best rated sniper calibers, the .308 Win (7.62 x 51 mm) and the .338 Lapua Magnum (8.6 x 70 mm). Both cartridges are literally universal and have proven their accuracy and terminal ability in countless law enforcement and military missions. Good factory loads, multiple projectile weights and factory special application ammunition is available in both calibers.

SPR300 – SPECIAL PURPOSE RIFLE

The modern police sniper almost always has engagements in urban environments in close ranges (less than 150 m). For military special operations urban areas provide a growing challenge. Many military strategists are projecting future conflicts will take place in cities and other built up areas where the distances are much closer. That is where the SPR300 comes into its own.

The weapon breaks down into a very small package which will enable the sniper to easily move into position. The discreet carry case has no resemblance to a bag that would contain a firearm. The Swiss engineered suppressor is integrated on the weapon but can be removed for transport without changing the point of impact of the round. The sound level produced by this ingenious combination of suppressor, weapon and cartridge is less than 121 dB A, which is quieter than an air rifle. The muzzle flash is also totally eliminated which will enable the operator to remain concealed even during hours of darkness.

Although the .300 Whisper as well as the .300 AAC Blackout were designed as a subsonic cartridges with maximum sound reduction, there are also supersonic rounds with excellent ballistic performance available. The RUAG SWISS P series of RUAG Ammotec provides several very interesting military grade cartridges in both calibres, suitable for the SPR300. Given this variety of premium ammunition, the sniper is prepared for any task that may arise. See ammunition details on backpage.

The SPR300 is ideal for any urban situation where stealth and silence is required. Some of these cases might include destroying street lights, car tires, motion detectors and alarm systems unnoticed or silencing guard dogs and of course sentries.

3 Position Safety / Fire Selector

The 3 position safety provides the user an easy and positive selection of Safe and Fire while the middle postion allows to load and unload the gun with a blocked trigger. Cocked Bolt Indicator

The cocked bolt indicator enables the ope- rator to see and feel if the bolt is cocked.

Pistol Grip

The interchangeable palm and finger inserts allow a perfect adaptation to the hand of the operator.

Reliable Magazines

The magazines are made from a tough translu- cent polymer. The operator can quickly reload or change ammunition as required by the mission.

Hard Anodized Aircraft Aluminum Receiver

The solid but lightweight receiver guarantes maximum accuracy. The SPR300 is available in Matt Black as well as in Coyote Tan. Quick Detachable Bipod

Several bipods are available. All are lightweight and quickly detachable. They can be hinged down and extended when necessary.

Lower Accessory Rail

Upon customer request the lower rail could be a UIT type or a NAR/Picatinny Rail, allowing to mount bipods, slings or other accessories.

Lateral Rails

A 95 mm long NAR/Picatinny Rail on each side allows mounting lasers, lights and other accessories.

Optics and mounts

B&T offers a variety of scopes, red dot sights and mounts for fast and accu- rate target acquisition and engagement (optional accessories).

Folding Adjustable Stock

There are two different positive locking folding stocks available, which will reduce the length of the SPR300 up to 280mm. Both have an height adjustable cheek piece giving the operator an optimal and relaxed position be-hind any scope, while one stock is also adjustable in length.

Extended Top Rail

The 410 mm long top rail (NAR/ Picatinny) allows fast and easy moun-ting of scopes and night vison or thermal optics in perfect alingnment.

Integrated Suppressor

This will enable the operator to remove the suppressor from the barrel without losing zero. The suppressor is so effec-tive that the actual noise produced by a subsonic round will be around only 121 dB A with no flash at all. Suppres-sor life is minimum 10,000 rounds.

R I F L E / M G S U P P R E S S O R SA suppressor is an extremely valuable accessory to any firearm. It offers many tactical advantages for general military and all kinds of special operations. It ́ s also an excellent choice for police work, especially when dealing with today´s terrorist threats.

ADDITIONAL SUPPRESSOR BENEFITS

SNIPER RIFLESB&T produces a full suppressor line for sniper rifles that mount to the flash hider, muzzle brake or threaded barrel of most sniper rifle systems. These include but are not limited to the B&T APR Sniper Rifles, Accuracy Internatio-nal L96A1 / Arctic Warfare, Steyr-Mannlicher SSG, Sako TRG 21 / 22 and TRG 41 / 42, Heckler & Koch PSG-1, SIG SAUER SSG 2000, SIG SAUER SSG 3000, Remington Model 700, US Army M21 and US Army M24 system. Suppressors for virtually any contemporary caliber are available.

MINIMI and MAG58 LIGHT MACHINE GUNB&T has developed several very effective suppressors for the light and medium machine guns produced by FN Herstal. These suppressors are designed to provide sound reduction and flash suppression for a burst of several belts of machine gun ammunition. This includes armor piercing and tracer ammunition. Each suppressor adds only 700 g in weight and extending only 161 mm of length on the end of the weapon.

.22 RIFLE / PISTOLSThe .22 rifle/ pistol suppressors produced by B&T are an etremely lightweight and economic solution. It provides excellent reduction – up to 42 dB (A) – to any .22 pistol or rifle. Applications for a .22 pistol are far reaching and can include destruction of street lights, guard dogs, car tires and exposed alarms. Subsonic ammunition will provide maximum results in noise reduction.

INTEGRATED RIFLESThe ultimate in specialized weapons is the suppressor integrated rifle. When using good quality subsonic .308 ammunition, an operator can produce 1 MOA groups.

.50 CALIBER SNIPER RIFLESUsing a suppressor on any .50 caliber rifle is almost a necessity. This is becau-se of the loud noise produced by the cartridge. The blast and recoil produced by the weapon is greatly reduced by use of the B&T suppressor. The suppressor for the Barrett M82 (Light Fifty) is in use with many NATO partners and carries the NSN 1005-22-123-6092. Suppressors are also available for the Steyr .50 HS, PGM ‘Hecate II’ and many other .50 caliber rifles on the market.

SPR .300 WHISPER / .300 AAC BLACKOUTB&T produces what experts consider to be the most specialized sniper weapon in the world. It is the suppressor integrated SPR300 rifle designed to fire the .300 Whisper or the .300 AAC Blackout cartridge. These unique cartridges will provide the most accurate and quiet precision out to ranges of 150 meters with the same noise that a suppressed .22 LR produces. The terminal ballistics however equal that of a .357 Magnum round. It is excellent for support of entry teams and destruction of street lights, guard dogs, car tires and exposed alarms at a range much greater than a .22 LR can provide.

Besides the obvious fact that a suppressor reduces the sound level of a gun, it has several more very important benefits which greatly improve the tactical efficiency of the operator.

Reduce Weapon SignatureWeapon signature can be divided into two categories. These are visual and audio signatures. The visual signature is muzzle flash. A suppressor can do a great deal in reducing or even completely eliminating muzzle flash. Muzzle flash will certainly give away the position of the shooter, especially during hours of limited visibility or darkness. Do not forget that the human eye is attracted to light from even at very long distances. Everyone that has fired a gun at night will know that the muzzle flash will also significantly degrade the shooters night vision ability for several minutes. This does not happen when a suppressor is used. The audio signature is the sound a weapon makes. There are three ways a firearm generates sound. These are: a) sound of the action of the slide or bolt b) sound of the bullet breaking the sound barrier and c) the sound of the gases escaping from the muzzle of the weapon. While components a) and b) cannot be suppressed without compromising the fighting capacity of the gun, retarding the speed at which the gases escape from the muzzle using a suppressor will greatly reduce the sound signature. This will also obscure the position of the shooter, as the dull sound is much harder to locate for the human ear.

Command and Control The sound of a firearm will create a great deal of confusion and distraction for the individual operators. This is magni-fied even further if the weapon is used indoors or on automatic fire. After exposure to sound levels greater than 140 dB (a typical 5.56/.223 round will produce about 157 dB) the human ear will experience permanent damage, immediately shutting down and greatly reducing the amount of information transmitted to the brain. This includes verbal communica-tions given by the unit leader or others in the immediate area. Orders relayed by radio are even more difficult to hear and understand. Noises made by enemies nearby will also be missed. The use of a suppressor will not only prevent perma-nent hearing damage, it also will enable the operator to hear and communicate.

Friend / Foe Identification (IFF)Knowing the location of the enemy and of friendly forces is a fundamental for any individual operator or small unit. The sound an enemy combatant makes is always a sure way to determine his location. This is true before and while actual shooting has begun. If friendly forces are equipped with suppressors the ability to identify which shots are being fired by which sides‘ combatants will be greatly enhanced. This is especially true when operating in urban or built-up areas, for military as well as for police forces.

Locating combatantsHearing the enemy is different than friend or foe identification. To hear the enemy means being able to determine its position, its numbers and direction, including the type of vehicles they may be using. It can also mean hearing the enemy movement through buildings, gravel, and twigs. It can also aid in small arms accuracy, weapons identification and target acquisition. If hearing is reduced then the ability of the operator is also reduce as far as the distances he can engage the enemy. Hearing someone or something moving through the forest at 100 meters is much better than being able to hear them only at 30 meters, which is well within hand grenade range. Anyone who has spent time in combat areas will remark how they often heard the enemy before they actually saw the enemy.

The muzzle flash reduces the night vision ability of the human eye for several minutes. A suppressor will prevent this.

The B&T Rotex™ suppressors has been the industry standard for

assault rifle suppressors since 1995. The Rotex™ is widely used by

NATO armies and other NATO partners worldwide. The unique

quick detachable (QD™) attachment means that any operator

can securely and safely mount the Rotex-V on any NATO bird-

cage flash hider in a matter of seconds with one hand, without a

specialized flash hider, unlike other suppressors on the market.

This capability ensures maximum inter-service operational capa-

bility which, is so important to armies serving in today’s conflict

zones. The Rotex-IIA has the same characteristics as the Rotex-V,

but it mounts on the B&T produced proprietary flash hider or

B&T is probably best known for its SMG and PDW suppressors.

These suppressors have gained an excellent reputation world-

wide because of their compact size, light weight, high level of

sound reduction and their quick detachable (QD™) on/off fea-

ture. This unique feature allows the user to mount or dismount

the suppressor in a matter of seconds. The B&T QD™ suppressor

will enable the user to have the best sound and flash reduction

possible while not changing the point of aim / point of impact of

an unsuppressed weapon. This amazing performance is made

possible because of the unsurpassed and proven QD™ system

which is unique to B&T products.

compensator. The Rotex-IIA and V are the latest generation in the

B&T’s suppressor development. These are some of the lightest

and smallest suppressors in production today. These products in-

corporate the same features that have made the earlier Rotex™

family so popular with in the military and special operations com-

munity worldwide and are chosen by most of Europe’s small arms

OEM for reliability and function. The sound reduction provided is

well below the 137 dB (A), while providing the maximum amount

of flash reduction. The Rotex-IIA and V are available for all mo-

dern assault rifles. Special versions or attachments are available

upon request.

Many of our suppressors carry a NATO Stock Number (NSN) as

they are widely issued with several NATO armies. Additionally,

B&T are an OEM supplier to highly respected small arms manufac-

turers such as H&K, Beretta, FN and Accuracy International, just to

name a few. They supply our suppressors along with their weapon

systems whenever a customer requests a complete package.

These suppressors work best (sound reduction) when using sub-

sonic ammunition but will produce excellent results when using

standard velocity ammunition. Many operators prefer the terminal

ballistics of a heavier yet slower bullet as opposed to a lighter

faster bullet.

Due to these features and its high level of sound reduction the

B&T Impuls-IIA™ is highly respected and is used by many natio-

nal anti-terror teams and intelligence services.

The Impuls-IIA™ is also produced in a compact version for use

with smaller handguns or during urban operations if confined

spaces could present an issue for operators.

The unique design makes the Impuls-IIA™ ensure reliable feeding

and ejecting of both subsonic and supersonic ammunition. The

spring booster will compensate for the shifting stress dynamics

that the pistol undergoes during the operating cycle, irrespective

of the ammunition used.

The all new multi-Y endcap of the M.A.R.S. was developed from the ground up to give the operator a whole new level of muzzle flash re-duction. B&T recently developed a new sniper rifle suppressor for the German Army Special Forces. One of the system specifications for the suppressor was the highest possible level of muzzle flash suppres-sion. While the B&T suppressors completely met this requirement, our engineering team did not rest on this achievement, but took the de-velopment another step further, adapting the flash hider from a «one shot» sniper rifle to fully automatic assault rifles, while also improving the muzzle flash suppression even more.

The B&T muzzle flash hider used with the M.A.R.S. - QD was develo-ped to meet two goals: to be an excellent flash hider when fired wit-hout a mounted suppressor and to be a reliable and rapid mounting platform for the M.A.R.S. – QD. Mounting suppressors on barrels is something that comes quite natural with B&T, so the integration of a swift and fluid attachment system for the suppressor resulted in the lightest attachment system ever.

MINIATURE ASSAULT RIFLE SUPPRESSOR (M.A.R.S.)5.56 mm (.223) / 7.62 mm (.308)

The all new M.A.R.S. (Miniature Assault Rifle Suppressor) was designed from the ground up to be a small, light and effective assault rifle suppressor. The inspiration for the product came from customer feedback on actual experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. The M.A.R.S. sets the new standard in its class.

It is time to go light. It is time for a revolutionary new suppressor design. It is time for the M.A.R.S., the Roman God of War.

For the last 26 years, B&T has been the industry’s premier suppressor producer. In that time B&T has not only been chosen to produce suppressors for most of the Europe’s small arms manufacturers but also for most of Europe’s armed forces.

In this time B&T has come to understand of the evolving needs of end-users. This experience is based on actual combat experience in Iraq, Afghanistan and many other places. In essence, requirements have evolved over the years and B&T has evolved its products to perfectly serve the new needs of its customers. The new requirements are:

• Greater flash reduction • Lighter weight • Smaller size

To meet the requirement for a light suppressor, the services will accept suppressors to be semi-disposable, not unlike the expected service life of a magazine or a barrel. Gone are the days when B&T would produce a suppressor that will out serve the rifle itself.

Exchange of experience with units returning from combat zones has taught B&T that noise reduction is not as important as flash reduction. The reasons for this are simple to understand. The human ear cannot tell the difference between the sound that is 139 dB vs. something that is 136 dB. As long as it is below 140 dB this is important because this is where permeant hearing loss will occur. The human eye however is im-mediately attracted to light, even if the muzzle flash occurs in the peripheral vision. During night or hours of twilight, the attention of the enemy is attracted to the muzzle flash and that is where fire is returned. Therefore the reduction of the muzzle flash is paramount and one the two primary design goals of the M.A.R.S. And as extensive testing shows, this goal was met and exceeded.

The weight of suppressors is also becoming an issue. This is especially true in dynamic combat situa-tions, a light suppressor, that will not change the balance of an assault rifle while at the same time does not extend the length of a rifle too much, is a must. Besides that weight saving at soldier’s equipment, wherever possible, is becoming more and more important, as today’s soldiers are required to carry huge loads, easily exceeding 50 kg. Communication, night vision/thermal devises, illuminators, GPS, spare batteries for everything, not to mention body armor and ballistic plates. Every Gram of weight reduction is a benefit. Therefore weight reduction was the other most important design goal during the develop-ment of the M.A.R.S. This goal was also not only met but exceeded, as the M.A.R.S. is the lightest assault rifle suppressor in its class.

The new B&T M.A.R.S. line (Miniature Assault Rifle Suppressor) was not only designed based on the input from elite military forces in NATO, but were also field trialed in close collaboration with these units. Field trails proved that the M.A.R.S. does meet and exceed not only today but also future requirements.

As the requirements of our customers are different, B&T offers two models of the M.A.R.S. The first one is the M.A.R.S. - QD (quick detachable) and the second one the M.A.R.S. – DM (directly mounted). Both models serve perfectly the different needs of different customers, depending on the mission.

M.A.R.S. - Miniature Assault Rif le Suppressor

For those who prefer the option to be able to mount/dismount the suppressor even during an operation, the M.A.R.S. - QD (quick detachable) is the perfect choice. The system has only two moving parts; it can be mounted/dismounted on the new B&T designed flash hider within seconds. While it is mounted by just screwing it onto the flash hider it automatically secures itself on the notches of the flash hider. To remove the suppressor just press the lever, this is a one hand operation, conducted in one swift and fluid motion in less than 5 seconds. The mounting system, consisting only of the proprietary B&T flash hider, will give excellent flash reduction when used without the suppressors while providing a fast and solid base when used for mounting the suppressor. The mounting counterpart inside the suppressor consists only of a ratched pod and spring. It is the lightest and quickest detachable mounting system on the market today.

The M.A.R.S. - DM (directly mounted) is the lightest and shortest assault rifle suppressor B&T currently produces. It is screwed directly on the barrel of the weapon. This lack of any mounting system allows it to be almost 300 grams lighter and 50 mm shorter than other suppressors with a mounting system. Therefore the impact on the balance of the weapon and the extension of the gun is negligible and not perceptible in combat.Despite its small size the M.A.R.S. is a full gown up suppressors when it comes to muzzle flash and sound reduction. This gives the operator the advantage needed in combat for outstanding optical and acoustical camouflage of the muzzle signature.
