Start with a wooden block 1.

or alternative base

This measures 4x4x1

2. Paint sides if desired

3. Select desired cardstock

4. Cut cardstock to size of wooden block

5. Glue cardstock of choice

to wooden block

6. Create templates to trace onto dictionary/book pages whichwill become your flower petals - Suggested sizes for templates/petals 2.5in, 2 in, 1.5in, and1in(I used punches in these sizes to create the templates)- Feel free to freehand your templates/petals in any size youwant

7. Trace or freehand circles onto dictionary or bookpages (or alternative material for petals) NOTE: For the sample, each flower is layered with 3petals. For the large flower, I used circles in sizes of2.5, 2, and 1.5 inches. For the small flower I usedcircles in sizes of 2. 1.5, and 1 inches So, to make what is seen in the sample photo, youwill need to trace one 2.5 inch circle, two 2 inchcircles, two 1.5 inch circles, and one 1 inch circle

8. Use water color to fill in circles

9. Tear circles for atattered edge. Feel free to cut the circlesif that is easier/preferred

10. Crumple torn or cut circles

11. Un-crumple each circle - not to the point of beingflat and smooth, you wantto leave them with somedimension/texture

12. For the large flower, start with the 2.5 inchcircle. Layer and glue the 2 inch circle on top

13. Layer and glue the 1.5 inchcircle on top of the 2 inch circle

14. For the small flower start with the 2 inchcircle. Layer and glue the 1.5 inch circle on top

15. Layer and glue the 1 inch circleon top of the 1.5 inch circle

16. Time to make your flower center!I used bits of dried yarrow to create the center of the sampleflowers. Since that is not a typical house craft item, feel free to use beads, buttons, rhinestones, cut small bits of paper to look like pollen -get creative with your centers

17. Glue whatever item you choosefor the flower center into place.

18. It's leaf time!  Freehand leaf shapes ontocardstock. I chose to use two leaves per flower -but use as little or many as you want. An alternative option here would be to usedried leaves such as eucalyptus.

18. Tear or cut out leaves

19. Give each leaf a slight bend

20. Placement of flowers and leaves is up to you. Once

you've chosen where you'd like the flowers to go, attach

with glue and do the same for the leaves.

Happy crafting!
