A SMP meeting was held on 05 May 2021 at Heroes. List of those in attendance is provided on the sign in sheet (attachment 1). 2. President Cpl Leyson was not in attendance. Cpl Rosiario opened the floor for feedback from the representatives present. 3. Quality of life issues: Old issues were updated as listed in attachment 2 New Quality of Life issue include the following: o MWSS-372 would like new drinking fountains installed. Advised unit to buy fountains. 4. Mr. Michael Woodbury 22, 24, MCAS and 33 MCX Manager 22 Area Gas Station mini mart closed May 23. June 1-4 is the new start opening. ATM will temporarily not be available. MCAS and fuel closure to happen 1000-1800 22-24 Area, 33 Area 1000-1700. 2 June both the old and new exchange will likely be closed due to transfer of registers. 15 May FLHS vendor street fair at Pacific Views Exchange, seeking 4 volunteers 0800-1600. 5. Mr. James Koch Outdoor Adventures Manager - discussed the upcoming events for Outdoor Adventures. 6. Mr. Mark Buehman 24 Area Active Duty Rec Center Manager discussed the upcoming events to include holiday hours for Memorial Day 1200-1700. 7. Ms. Tonya Bryant 22 Area Active Duty Rec Center Manager discussed the upcoming events to include Lunch + Learn event on VA Loan home buying on 20 May. 8. Ms. Danielle West Active Duty & Unit Recreation Dept Head discussed the upcoming events. 9. Cpl Rosiario Notes passed from MCCS entities not in attendance Information shared can be reviewed in attachment 2, SMP Meeting agenda. 10. Conclusion Meeting ended at 1230. LOA provided for volunteer hours upon completion of all necessary coaches trainings and service hours. Preregistration and background screening required. Intramural sports has a new line up of sporting events in May and June to include R/C Car Derby, Home Run Field Goal Challenge and All Sport Golf! On May 18 and 19 we will be having a Golf event, teams of two get to play 18 holes at Marine Memoriprovided. Pre-registration is required, please email [email protected].
