c) PROBLRM STATEMENT: Increase student satisfaction by solve all problems which becomeshurdle in this.

d) PROJECT OBJECTIVES:Objectives of this project are:

To identify student’s problem and provide solution of thatproblem.

To make such strategies that will really help to enhancestudent’s satisfaction.

e) IDENTIFICATION OF THE PROBLEM:Research has been conducted to identify a most frequent problemfacing by students in IB&M. In a research a single questionasked. Reasons to ask just one question because initiallyresearch conducted to keenly know about the problem and affect ofthat on productivity. In this research, tough time table isidentified a main problem for the students.

f) PURPOSE OF RESEARCH:To explore and identify problems faced by majority of thestudents of Institution.

METHODOLOGY:In methodology “the total productivity management perspective”has been used for continuous improvement. This productivity cycledenote continuous process linking together four phases:

10 | P a g e

MEASUREMENT: (M)In this project Simple Performa based on one single question hasmade, just to identify a problem which is faced by majority ofstudents here in IB&M. Likert scale is used to measure theproblem. Questionnaire is distributed randomly (sampling based)to 56 respondent .And out of which 26 are females and 30 aremales. 3 options have been given in this Performa.

EVALUATION PROCESS: (E)After collecting all Performa, we evaluate the result. MS-EXCELmedium has adopted to evaluate these results. Mode methodselected to find out most repeated problem has been facing bystudents.

FUTURE IMPROVEMENT PLANS INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY: (P)Improvement plan based on technology i.e. MIS Software. By factIB&M is an independent institute who manage his expenditure byitself. For this student’s strength criteria have increased butIB&M providing best teachers for best quality education. The mostappreciable thing is this that classes scheduled on time andevery teacher take his class on time and management make sure it.IB&M take care of cleanliness. Management acknowledgedlimitations and fact about hectic time table but they said thatfrom day 1 we are improving things and things has been improvedand we work for further. And number of computers in IB&M computerlab has increased. Student grievance form forwarded promptly. From next semesters IB&M will do its best to make student &teacher friendly time table. IB&M convert its manual working onMIS software and will make sure that things will be gettingbetter after implementation of this software in whole IB&M.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: (I)After planning keep on check difference between planning andaction points. If there is any difference then correct itpromptly and keep evaluating the performance.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:To identify a most repeated problem facing by students, researchmethodology has been conducted. In research one questionerPerforma made and sampling chose for this purpose. This Performafilled by student of all batches studying in IB&M on randombasis. Questioner which has been selected for this research isshown on next page:

STUDENT POINT OF VIEW ABOUT PROBLEM:After identification of the problem, some questioned asked fromstudents for taking student point of view. While discussing withstudents point which has been noted is that to get up early inthe morning is really tough. Students who come on buses have towake up around 4-5 o’clock and reach to the stops by 5-6AM andreach to university around 7AM. They commute to university dailylike this. Other students also have to reach by 7AM inuniversity. 7AM classes starts and they complain that they haveto take consecutive classes. In this semester many studentscomplain about bad health like low & high blood pressure. Somestudents told that they feel so lazy during lectures and they areafraid of its negative effect on grades. Students have to reach

early to university so they can’t take proper part of the mealwhich is not good thing for the health of the student.

MANAGEMENT POINT OF VIEW ABOUT PROBLEM:After the discussion with student, management point of view hasbeen taken. MR.M.ALI cooperated with us and gave management pointof view. He told that number of students has been increasingevery year and space is fixed. So to manage time table of 4batches of BBA, MBA & MS he has to make such time table thateverything go on smoothly. So for this BBA come 3 days in a weekand other 3-4 days are given to MBA and Saturday arranged for MS&MBA (Executive).

RESULTS:Results are calculated on MS-EXCEL Sheet. There are total 56respondents. Out of which 26 are females and 30 are males. 3options have been given in this Performa. MS-EXCEL sheets areshown as below.

ANALYSIS:By analyzing these samples , it has been discovered that 25students (out of 56) is facing problem due to time table and 15due to Infrastructure , 7 due to discipline and 9 because ofother miscellaneous causes facing troubles .

Majority of students have been facing the problem of time table.Meanwhile activities of few days of students had also beenobserved and discovered that students have not been paying fullattention. They get tired. They can’t take lectures properly. Some students sick from parasomnia to some extent. The mostalarming result that came out from this observation that majorityof the student can’t have proper breakfast and they have to eatjunk food which is making their health bad. In this research, wealso observed that most of the student feel down themselvesduring class and complain for illness due to having low/highblood pressure.

This is alarming situation for everyone because youth are thefuture for any country if they will weak then who would betomorrow’s leader. Youth should be healthy one.

CONCLUSION:Problem has identified and best possible methodology has been used to analyze it and solved it. Time table has been a problem and this problem will soon end by implementing the MIS software. And MIS software working has been started.

BENEFITS:

TO PRODUCTIVITY TEAM:This project enrich with practical experience that has helped usthink broadly about productivity in an organization. This projecthas given us confidence to work in real environment. This projecthas increased our knowledge.

Being a student to know about real work experience has been verymagnificent and to get aware about real time sceneries. Itenhances our team management skills as well.

The most important thing we learned how to extract the info andmost interesting thing that how little things has are so powerfulfor productivity like communication.

TO ORGANIZATION: Benefits to IB&M are as:

Increase student satisfaction

More students

Increase effectiveness

Help to achieve its mission

TO STUDENT: Benefits to students of IB&M are as:

Best facility

Self-satisfaction

18 | P a g e

Improve health

Improve routine

RECOMMENDATIONS: MIS software should be used for making time table from next

semester’s time table. Management should renovate the building to create more space

for classes. Some classes still not in use, management should use them. Students are business leaders of tomorrow so they should be

able to face all things. But all problems should need to be solved.

Student need to understand that problems are born to besolved.

LIMITATIONS:This research has been conducted in starting of November andwhile working on it many problems has solved. Government has hadoff Saturday holiday. And this has created more effect on studentemotions .in this regard research can’t do anything because itsGOVT policy.

And to some extent management couldn’t provide fact sheetregarding students like their strengths and couldn’t answer thatwhy IB&M recruiting more students than its building space. Itsanswer is just a financial constraint so to get finance they doit.
