SCHOOL CLINIC

SCHOOL CLINIC OBJECTIVE :

A. To assess and monitor health status and well being of students, teachers and staff.

B. To provide first aid care in emergency medical situations.

C. To administer doctor’s prescribed medication and treatment.

D. To identify, report, and eliminate health and safety hazards of the school community.

CLINIC HOURS

7:30 am – 7:00 pm

Main Clinic : 2nd floor ( room 208 )

Satellite Clinic : 7th Floor Gym

Vital Signs Check - Up

Clinic nurse can assist in: Vital Signs check-up Blood pressure monitoring Temperature check Weight monitoring Eye check-up

Medications:

- Only basic non-prescription medicines will be dispensed by the clinic. MEDICINES FOR:

- Fever - Diarrhea / Loose bowel movement - Headache

- Hyperacidity - Dehydration - Certain allergies - Colds, runny nose

Please refrain from letting your children come to school if he/she is sick.

A student who is absent due to illness will not be allowed to come in to take a test.

A student who is in the clinic due to illness will likewise not be allowed to take the exam while waiting to be fetched.

REMINDERS

Students who are noted to have any communicable disease are required to present a medical certificate upon return to school.

The student must first drop by the clinic to present the medical certificate and get clearance from the school nurse before returning to his/her classroom.
