On the occasion of the NSS special winter camp held at Nimgavan,adopted village, between

22/12/2019 to 28/12/2019. On this occasion various yogas and asanas and pranayamas were done by

participant enthusiastically every day between 5.45 am and 6.45 am. On the occasion, he performed

yogas like Tadasana, Vrishnasana Anulomvilom Bhadrasana Bhamrani Pranayama.

The volunteers presented the drama on the following topics in the evening in front of villagers.

On 30th January, the 'Martyrdom day' was celebrated in memory of Mahatma Gandhi at MGSM's

ASC College Chopada. Principal Dr. D. A. Suryawanshi, Vice Prin. Dr. K. N. Sonawane and 200

volunteer students attended the program. On the occasion of the program Principal Dr. D. A.

Suryawanshi talk on the Mahatma Gandhi's thought such as non-violence, truth and help students for

implementation of thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi in students' life. Sir also focus on the effects of this

thought on life of follower and what benefit did him or her getting after walk on this divine path. Mr.

A winter camp was organized at Nimgavan in the adopted village between 22/12/2019 to

28/12/2019. On this occasion, the volunteers prepared daily recruitment exercises for the youth of the

village, from 8.30 am to 11.30 am. They visited from the main market of the village, Dadaji Dhuniwale

Durbar, village roads, Tapi river canal, village drainage, as well as the field village opposite the district

center.

All the villagers appreciated and thanked the volunteer work for cleaning the garbage in the

village. The villagers were participated in this work.

Department of NSS, Arts, Science and Commerce College, Chopda was arranging the tree

plantation program on 21 June 2018. A tree plantation program was held at village Tavase, tehsil

Chopda appointed under this program for 100 hours clean up. The students were selected

proper places near village and dug the soil and planted the trees. Total 200 students and

volunteers were take part in the tree plantation activity. The program officer Mr. D. P. Sapkale,

l. Name of the Event : 26 January Parade Practice





On dated 20/01/2019 a group of volunteers was done preparation of Parade for Independence

and Republic Day.They were trained and sent to the college for the departmentaJ parade. The

volunteers Badgujar Lalit Mangat , Dhangar Kedar, Kautik Mahajan, Ashwini Sahebrao Mahajan were

actively participated in program. The program officer Mr. D. P. Sapkale, Assistant program officer Dr.

P. K. Labhane and Mrs. Dr. P. M. Raotole were present during practice of parade. Principal Dr. D. A.

Suryawanshi and Lt Dr. B. M. Sapkal (NCC program officer) also appreciate to NSS volunteers for

Volunteers of NSS from the M.G.S.M.'s A.S.C. College visit to the Panchayat Samiti as a

government office, where Group Development Officer, Mr. B. S. Kosode guided the students about

various schemes of the government and informed them about the various schemes that were useful to

them. Mr. Kosode basically talks on important village scheme such as Swachgram, MGNREGA, Gram

Swaraj Abhiyan, Mission Antyodaya ... etc. Some NSS volunteers were asked their queries to Mr.

Kosode on the village scheme and their terms and conditions for getting benefits to villagers .

Clean India Summer Training Program (19 June 2018 to 15 July 2018)

As per the University Circular letter J.U.M.V./14./V.V.-NSS/Swachh Bharat/175/2018 dated

on 18/07/2018 KBCNMU the programe was organized under the guidance (Nodal Officer) of Hon'ble

Principal Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi. Swachh Bharat Summer Training was organized to implement

activities for I 00 hours of cleanliness were organized. During program guidance was given to students

on the importance of cleanliness in daily life as well as the importance of cleanliness while interacting

with the public. Tavase village was selected. Activities for cleanliness and planning were done. This

project was implemented from 19th June 2018 to 25th July 2018.

Awareness was brought by the notice for the citizens by participating directly in the selected

village. The participating students also perfonned a street play called 'Swachhate Sundar Hagandari

Mukt Gaon'. The street play received a great response from the citizens of the village. The students

visited the houses of the villagers and interacted with the public on toilet construction, utilization and

toilet hygiene. Volunteers trained the students of Government aided school on hand washing after

toilet. While considering the water problem in the village, Planted trees under the Hon. Prime

Minister's plan.

COMMANDANT dated on 13/10/2018 the workshop was organized on 29/11/2018.

The above training and awareness workshops are conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. Commandant 5 NDRF Pune organized on 29/11/2018 from 11 :30 to l :00 pm in the

SMART room and courtyard of the college to guide the students on various disasters and how to prevent various disasters. The main aims of disaster management to reduce, or avoid, the potential

losses from hazards, assure prompt and appropriate assistance to victims of disaster, and achieve rapid

and effective recovery. These common elements allow you to prepare for and protect yourself and your

animals from disaster. Emergency managers think of disasters as recurring events with four phases:

Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery .

An industrial visit /field trip to Jain Irrigation were organized for S. Y. B. Sc.

and T. Y. B.Sc. Students on 19th September 2018. 'Jain Irrigation' is leading

company in irrigation and solar power. The company offers range of services

related to the agriculture and artificial farming. This company contributes more in

the form of agro products to not only Jalgaon district farmer but also in Khandesh

region.

Students enriched by experience much by the visit to the solar generation

power plant and drip irrigation system. Students get acquainted with the new

technology that used in the industries and in the new era of farming. After visiting

an industry gain combines knowledge about both theoretical and practical.

Inauguration ceremony ESA Electronics Student Association was organized in

Department of Electronics on 15 September 2018. Dr K.N. Sonawane sir Vice

Sonawane sir and other staff members were present. The lighting lamp ceremony was

done by Principal Dr. D. A. Suryawanshi sir. At this event 80 Students of F.Y. S.Y. and

TY Electronics present. In this ESA inauguration ceremony, vice Principal Dr. K. N.

Sonawane Prof. M. B. Hande sir and guest of the program felicitated to the topper

student in university exam of Department of Electronics.

ln this Presidential speech, Prof. Dr. A. L. Chaudhari said that student can know

the current technology and cope with current knowledge of electronics and computer

science. Dr. K. D. Gaikwad giving introductory speech, in this speech he point out the

importance and benefits of student association.

On 6th February 2019, Electronics Students' and Departments of Electronics of the Arts,

Science and Commerce College Chopda jointly organised one-day state-level workshop on

the subject- 'Hands on Workshop on Arduino and Its Interfacing (HWAII-2019)'. The

program was inaugurated by Shri. M. B. Hande. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. A. L.

Chaudhari Head of Electronics Department, Vice Principal Dr. K N Sonawane, Vice

Principal of Jr. College Mr. B. S. Halape, Prof. V. Y. Patil were present. Coordinator Prof.

Dr. A. L. Chaudhari had given introductory speech. In his speech he said in the

introduction that the technician who is looking for a different technology for the

development of the profession should be studied. The use of automated machines has

increased in every area. Due to this, the subject of Robodactics needs to be addressed. The

purpose of this workshop is to become aware of the basic infonnation about robots and the

technology to be deployed.Our fist Science College that organised workshop on Arduino

and robotics in North Maharashtra University. The decision was taken by the Arduino

Technologist. On this occasion, a student from the Department of Electronics, Jagruti

Adwal has been awarded first place in the field of electronics at the university. S.Y. B. sc,

student who excel in the A VISHKAR university science innovation event was also

felicitation in the program.

Suryawanshi said that if such book exhibitions are held, the students will get a taste of reading and they

easily identity books. Through these books only the personality of the students will be developed. Such

exhibitions will add knowledge in the life of students. Many students visited the exhibition and

expressed their satisfaction that we came to the exhibition and got acquainted with new literature.

The program 'Shabd Sampada' was organized on 15th January 2019 by the Marathi

Department of Arts, Science and Commerce College, Chopda with the aim of adding to the vocabulary

of the students. The program was inaugurated by the Principal of the College Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi. A

total of 90 students from Commerce Department had participated in the first year. This time 90 students

created 6840 words in 30 minutes.

In this activity, Borse Megha got 271 words and got the first number. Chaudhari Yamini came

second with 217 words. Priyanka Sonawane came third with 204 words, Patil Jayashree came second

with 203 words and Patil Ruchita came third with 199 words. On this occasion Principal Dr. D.A.

Suryawanshi, vice Principal and Head of Marathi Department Dr. K.N. Sonawane, Mrs. M.T. Shinde

expressed their satisfaction.

Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi, Principal of the college, said that every student should read many books

to increase his vocabulary. Vocabulary should be read. Synonyms should be searched and many new

words should be used by all the students while communicating. For the success of this program, Dr.

K.N. Sonawane and Mrs. M.T. Shinde, Head of Marathi Department, provided guidance and Mrs. V.G.

Sonawane and Mr. G.B. Badgujar also assisted.

On 23rd Junuury 2019, the Muruthi Department of Mahatma Gandhi Shiksh.an Mandal 's Arts, Science nnd Commerce, Chopdu had organized 'Marathi Grammar EXIDnination' to introduce Marathi subject ond grammnr to the students and also to prepare Marathi subject for the competitive examination. A total of 250 sllldents from Arts, Science and Commerce departments had participated in this cxominntion. During the examination, Principal of the college Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi and the viceprincipnl und head or the Muruthi department Dr. K.N Sonawane visited and inspected.

The students pr~sem on the occasion asked queries on handwriting. Resource person

of curves. A total of 85 studl!nts from Arts. Science and Commerce departments bad participated in this 1

examination. While giving guidance, Hon'ble Dinesh Salunkhe said that beautiful letter is a p.!11 of our

Application Writing Workshop

On 28th August 2018, 'Application Writing Workshop' was organized by the Marathi

Department in the College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Chopda. Principal Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi,

Vice Principal and Head of Marathi Department Dr. K. N. Sonawane, Mrs. M.T. Shinde etc. were

present on this occasion. At this time, FYBA, SYBA, TYBA and M.A. Marathi as well as other

students from science stream had registered their participation.

At this time, Dr. K.N. Sonawane given guidance on 'Application Format and Concept' as well

as how to write the meaning and text of application writing by showing incorrect application forms

through PPT. Mrs. M.T. Shinde also gave guidance on how to write an application and its meaning and

text. Mr. M.L. Bhusare gave guidance on application writing methods. Expressing his thoughts on the

occasion, the principal of the college Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi said that mistakes can be corrected if you

are guided on what you need to do. Students should improve their writing.

Application writing is part of writing skills, so students should realize that good writing is a

part of personality. The program was conducted by Mr. M.L. Bhusare and thanked by Mr. G.B.

Badgujar. Student representatives Anil Baviskar , many students and professors were present on the

occasion.

On 2nd October 2018, the Marathi Department of Arts, Science and Commerce Chopda,

organized a program called 'Mahatma Gandhi Vichar Pariksha' on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi

Jayanti. On this occasion, the program was inaugurated by laying a wreath at the statue of Father of the

Nation Mahatma Gandhi. The purpose of this program was to spread the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi and

to inspire the youth with the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi. A total of 150 students from 130 junior

divisions and 20 senior divisions participated in the event.

On the occasion of this program, the Principal of the college Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi, Vice

Principal Mr. M.13 Hande, Vice Principal and Head of Marathi department Dr. K.N. Sonawane, Vice

Principal Mr. 8.S. Halpe, Supervisor Mr. V.Y. Patil, Mrs. M.T. Shinde, Mr. N.B. Shirsath, Mr. S.T.

Shinde, Mr. S.B. Patil , Mr. B.S. Padvi etc. were present on the occasion. For the success of this

On I Ith October 2018, the program 'Kavisammelan' (Gathering of poet and poetess) was

organized by the Marathi Department of Mahatma Gandhi Shikshan Mandal 's Arts, Science and

Commerce College, Chopda. In this program Principal Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi, vice Principal and Head

of Marathi Department Dr. K.N. Sonawane, Mrs. M.T. Shinde, Mr. S.B. Patil, Mr. M.L. Bhusare, Mrs.

V.G. Sonawane etc. were present on the occasion. A program of poetry reading and singing was

organized by Khandesh poet Ashok Sonawane, poet Vilas Patil and poetess and ghazal writer Mrs.

Yogita Patil. The program includes FYBA, SYBA, TYBA. and M.A. Marathi as well as Science

departments had registered their participation.

On this occasion, the poet Hon. Ashok Sonawane presented his poems like 'Maay', the earthen

stove of the former meaning, the tree of silence, the wife cannot live without speaking, etc. Poet Vilas

Patil, on the other hand, presented many ghazals such as 'Tirap' , 'Retired Conductor', 'Divas Tujhe

He' , 'Aare Takkal Takkal'. On this occasion, Principal Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi appreciated the

organization of the program. The program was conducted by Mr. M.L. Bhusare and vote of thanks done

On The program 'Swachhta Abhiyan' was organized on 16th September 2018 by the Marathi

Department of Mahatma Gandhi Shikshan Mandal 's Arts, Science and Commerce College, Chopda. On

the occasion of this program, Principal Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi, vice Principal Mr. M.B. Hande, vice

Principal and Head of Marathi Department Dr. K.N. Sonawane, Mrs. M.T. Shinde, Mr. S.B. Patil. Shri.

M.L. Bhusare, Mrs. V.G. Sonawane etc. were present on the occasion.

At this time, a clean-up operation was carried out at Hareshwar temple in Chopda city to clean

up the garbage and dirt accumulated due to the procession on the occasion of Shravan somavar. At this

time many students as well as professors from Marathi department cleaned the dirt in this area.

Garbage, paper, plastic bags, etc. were disposed of by digging a pit. At this time in this campaign

FYBA, SYBA, TYBA. and M.A. Marathi as well as Science departments had registered their

participation.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. D.A. Suryawanshi appreciated the organization of the program

and the participating students. Dr. K.N. Sonawane, Head of Marathi Department, Mrs. M.T. Shinde,

Mr. M.L. Bhusare, Mr. S.B. Patil, Mr. N.B. Patil and others worked hard on this occasion. Many

students and professors were present on the occasion.

On 11 ° August 2018, the Marathi Department of the College of Arts. Sciences and

Commerce organized a 'Poetry Reading and PoetI) Singing Program' based on ~tess Bahinablli's

poems on the occasion of the naming ceremony of North Maharashtra University. A video based on

Bahinabai Chaudhari's poems was sbo\\11. The introductory speech of this program was made by Vice-

I Principal and Head of Marathi Department Dr. K..N. Sonswane.

On this occasion Mrs. M.T. Shinde. Mr. M.L. Bhussre, Mr. D.S. Patil. Dr. R.R. Patil, Mrs.

V.G. Sonawane and Mr. G.B. Badgujar. Shri D.D Kardapwar, Shri D.G. Chaudhari. Anil Bsvis.kar etc.

were present. On this occasion, Dr. K.N. Sonawane, Mrs. M.T. Shinde, Mr. M.L. Bhusare. Mrs. V .G

Son\\'-ane and Mr. GB Badgujar from Marathi Department presented the p<k!IUS of the poetess

Bahinabai and introduced her work .

At this time, Mr. D.S. Patil suggested that Bahinabai's poetry shows a mixture of science and

social consciousness. Students need to research his poetry and bring its philosophy before the society.

Students Deepali Shirnpi, Harsha! Shimpi, Jayshree Mahajan also presented poems of Bahinabui on the

occasion. A short film on the life of the Bahinabai and a video of the song composition were sho\\11.

On this occasion, vice Principal and Head of Marathi Department Dr. K.N. Sonaw:me. said

that the poems of Bahinabai are the ones that explain the philosophy of life. His poems explain th~

EVENT REPORT

The objective of the industrial visit is to help students to gain first-hand infonnation regarding MIDC. More than 12 students attended this industry visit and very much satisfied with the functioning of the industry. It gives a practical exposure of theory and understands the application of theory into practice. BBA student had seen automatic processes in the industry.

Industrial visit was arranged for one day. This provides opportunity for interaction with entrepreneurs and executives associated with visit to a working establishment. Visit open up right perspective of what is disseminated classrooms; also students come to know industrial establishment and business houses for their contribution to Indian economy. These help students to understand the journey of product from place of production to customer's bands and management strategies, which make this journey fruitful. The executives of MlDC of Chopda, "Galaxy Paper Industry Ltd" had helped to plan the students to understand the various intricacies of different department.

On 18h August 2018 Intemal Quality Assurance Cell of M.G.S.M.'s A.S.c. College, Chopda in

collaboration with Janshikshan Sansthan Jalgaon organized the one day workshop on Honey Bee

Keeping. Shri Shashikant Salunkhe, Resource person and Shri Shyam Patil, Trainer were invited for

program. On this occasion Chief Guest Hon. Taisaheb, Dr. Smita Sandeep Patil, Principal Dr. D. A.

Suryawanshi, Vice Principal Dr. K. N. Sonawane, Dr. S. A. Wagh, Mrs. M. T. Shinde madam, Mr. D.

S. Patil, Mr. A. B. Suryawanshi and Dr. S. R. Patil were present on this occasion.

1QAC coordinator Mr. D. S. Patil, presented the preface of the workshop. Mr. Shashikant

explained about the honey bee colony, its use for farmers and its importance for maintaining ecological

balance. Resource person Sham Patil said that the Honey Bee colony is a highly organized society

made up of three kinds of adult bees workers, drones, and a single queen- each had a specific roles.

Honey bees also took part in cross pollination of plants mean it will carry the pollen grain of male

flower to stigma of female flower while collect the nectar from flowers.

This workshop helped students to understand Honey Bee farming and its commercial benefits.
