Objectives:

1) To listen to different words and distinguish between their meanings. 2) To pronounce the words correctly. 3) To enable the students to read simple connected sentence.

4) Enable students recite poems with proper intonation, pronunciation and stress. 5) To enhance their speaking ability. 6) To use grammatically correct language. 7) To inculcate the habit of reading more books apart from the text books. 8) Recall and recognize about 2500 spoken words.
