Pistol has been restocked at some stage of it's life, the current stock is not of the same standard as the metalwork. Good overall condition. B2 .75cal. Bobbejaanboud Flintlock By "Culemborg" + Mould R 25000.00 Full-stocked barrel of 42,5" with ivory/horn? foresight. Heavy "Bobbejaanboud" stock with cheekpiece, brass buttplate, pipes and long brass triggerguard. Lockplate carries the "Culemborg" name to it. Culemborg was a gun factory in the town of Culemborg Holland from 1757-1812. Double set trigger. Includes original steel round ball mould. This is one of three known Culemborgs in the country. Good to good plus original condition. B3 12ga "Marsey Of London" Percussion Rifle R 19500.00 Rifled full-stock barrel of 29". Grip and action of rifle have been bound with raw-hide to prevent damage to the most susceptible part of the rifle. This was a common practise with many early big-game hunters in SA. Single blade rear sight and foresight. Engraved hammer & lock marked to "Marsey London". Double set triggers, squared back brass triggerguard, brass butt plate with elongated tang to it. Brass pipes to fore-end. Chequered wrist and cheekpiece to stock. A typical early South African big-game, close quarters hunting rifle in good original condition. B4 10ga "Joseph Kemp" Percussion Single Barrel Shotgun R 7500.00 Octagon to round Damascus barrel of 31,25"/795mm with attractive twist finish and under-barrel rib. Well figured stock with horn fore-end tip, chequered straight wrist and buttplate with extended tang to it. Square fronted trigger-guard with extended tang to it. Both lockplate and barrel are marked to "J. Kemp". Lockplate, tang and triggerguard feature scroll engraving. Stock has a L.O.P. of 14". An attractive gun in good to good plus condition. Heavy "Bobbejaanboud" stock with cheekpiece, brass buttplate, pipes and long brass triggerguard. Lockplate carries the "Culemborg" name to it. Culemborg was a gun factory in the town of Culemborg Holland from 1757-1812. Double set trigger. Includes original steel round ball mould. This is one of three known Culemborgs in the country. Good to good plus original condition.

B3 12ga "Marsey Of London" Percussion Rifle R 19500.00Rifled full-stock barrel of 29". Grip and action of rifle have been bound with raw-hide to prevent damage to the most susceptible part of the rifle. This was a common practise with many early big-game hunters in SA. Single blade rear sight and foresight. Engraved hammer & lock marked to "Marsey London". Double set triggers, squared back brass triggerguard, brass butt plate with elongated tang to it. Brass pipes to fore-end. Chequered wrist and cheekpiece to stock. A typical early South African big-game, close quarters hunting rifle in good original condition.

B4 10ga "Joseph Kemp" Percussion Single Barrel Shotgun R 7500.00Octagon to round Damascus barrel of 31,25"/795mm with attractive twist finish and under-barrel rib. Well figured stock with horn fore-end tip, chequered straight wrist and buttplate with extended tang to it. Square fronted trigger-guard with extended tang to it. Both lockplate and barrel are marked to "J. Kemp". Lockplate, tang and triggerguard feature scroll engraving. Stock has a L.O.P. of 14". An attractive gun in good to good plus condition.

B5 12ga Moreton & Langley S/S Percussion Shotgun R 4950.00Barrels of 29,5" which are marked to "Moreton & Langley London". Bar action locks which feature game scene engravings are also marked to "Moreton & Langley". Straight grip stock with 14" L.O.P and wrap-around flat-top engraving to the wrist. Wrap-around flat-top chequering to fore-end. Barrels and hammers have been professionally refinished, overall good plus condition.

B6 .451 Whitworth Rifled Enfield Carbine By R Hughes R 5000.00Full-stock to 25,5" barrel, rear sight graduated to 300yds. Brass nosecap, triggerguard and buttplate. Steel barrel-band. Lock has crown cypher with "Enfield" below it and is also marked to "R. Hughes". Chequered wrist. Fairly good overall condition, rifle has been refinished at some stage with some loss of definition to markings on barrel.

A WW2 era government issue spear with a thumb-notch to the bottom of the shaft to ensure alignment of 13,5 blades for drill purposes. Issued to "native" troops & constables. Length 1470mm. Good original condition.

C2 South African Airforce Dagger R 3950.00South African Airforce dagger complete with hanger and belt. Double edged stiletto blade of 240mm/9,5". White shagreen grip. Winged eagle cross-guard with "Per Aspera Ad Astra" air force motto to crossguard. Very good overall condition.

C3 Japanese Katana Type Swords x 2 R 3250.001) Curved 67cm Damascus blade, ornate brass scabbard with excellent depictions of fish, birds & deer adorning the scabbard. Brass hilt with stylised fish & bird scenes to it. Some form of diplomats/senior official's sword. Possible early repro? 2) Curved hand-forged 72,5cm blade with an excellent edge to it. A few light nicks to front section of blade. Binding absent from Shagreen bound hilt of 260mm. Leather bound wooden scabbard with patchy finish and replacement aluminium chape. Fair overall condition.

C4 Patt. 1897 South African Officers Sword R 4950.00A Wilkinson London ceremonial sword with the gold coloured hexagonal "Best Quality" proof mark. Under a king's crown "South Africa / Suid Afrika" is etched. The Union coat of arms is incorporated into the guard and etched on the blade. Complete with leather scabbard. Nickel plated basket type hilt with wire-bound shagreen grip. Turned down edge of guard. Good to good plus condition.

C5 South African Ceremonial Naval Sword R 5500.00With previous Republican coat of arms and Carl Eickhorn trademark to ricasso. Etched straight blade of 30,75"/780mm. Brass lions head hilt with folded anchor cast into hilt. Wire bound white shagreen to handle. Leather scabbard with brass fittings to it. Complete in all respects including the scabbard, sword knot and chamois lined weather cover and very good condition.

C6 Rhodesian Patt. 1897 Officers Sword R 4950.00Made by Wilkinson Sword UK. ER2 cypher incorporated into the guard and etched into the blade. Complete with black leather scabbard and hanger. Wire bound shagreen grip, turned down edge to guard. Good original condition.

C7 Irish Rifles Pattern 1845 Officers Sword R 4250.00Victorian crown and the unit's bugle emblem etched into the 32,5"/820mm blade. Crown over bugle cast into semi-basket hilt. Complete in all respects with a leather scabbard, Sam Browne, hanger and sword tassel. All in good condition

C8 Cavalry Officers Patt 1912 Sword R 4950.00A Wilkinson London sword with the gold coloured hexagonal "Best Quality" proof mark. C11 S.A.D.F. Officers Sword R 3750.00Three Bar guard as per the 1812 model. S.A. republic coat of arms to ricasso as well as serial number and U within M SADF ownership stamp to it. Solingen made by Weyerburg Kischbaum Co. Blade length of 820mm. Leather scabbard and hanger included. Wire bound shagreen grip. Excellent condition.

C12 Victorian Period 2nd Coldstream Guards Sword R 3750.00Sergeants sword in nickel plated scabbard. Ornate brass hilt with central coat-of-arms to both sides. Double-edged, spear pointed blade with length of 28,25"/720mm. Good condition.

C13 Brazilian 1889 Infantry Officers Sword R 4500.00Made by Alex Coppel Germany with "Viva O Brazil" marking to 29"/740mm pipe-backed blade. Nickel plated scabbard. Wire bound shagreen grip with three bar hilt which carries the Brazilian crest to it and dated 1889. Fair to good condition. A couple of light dings to blade, some light pitting and loss of definition to etching.

D1 6.35mm Astra Mod 200 Pistol - Boxed R 550.00In manufacturer's box. Introduced in 1954 the Mod 2000 is a compact single action pocket pistol with a 2,25" barrel and 6 round magazine capacity. Excellent condition.

D2 7.65mm Astra Mod 4000 Falcon Pistol R 1250.00A tubular pistol design with external hammer. Introduced in 1956, the Falcon has a magazine capacity of 8 rounds and barrel length of 3,9"/98mm. Good condition.

D3 7.65mm Star Mod DKI Starfire Pistol R 1250.00This model was first made in 1957 and is an ultra compact pistol based on the Colt 1911 design with an aluminium alloy frame. Barrel length of 6" and 6 round magazine capacity. This the 7,65mm variant of the 9mmk DKL which is quite common in SA. Good condition.

D4 9mmk Star DKL Pistol R 1450.00Lightweight aluminium alloy frame concealment pistol. Based on the Colt 1911 pistol. Barrel of 3" and 6 round magazine capacity. First introduced in 1957. Some loss of finish to front of frame, rest in good overall condition

D5 9mmp Star Mod 30M Pistol R 3750.00Matt black finish overall with black chequered hard rubber grips, 4" barrel with excellent bore. Double action with a 15 round double stack magazine. Good plus condition.

D6 9mmp Star Mod B Super - Boxed R 2950.00In manufacturer's box. Closely based on the Colt Government model, the standard model B served as the issue SADF service pistol from the early 1960's. The B Super was a slight improvement on the Model B and the range was first introduced in in 1920. Magazine and polymer chequered hand grips still pristine. Bore of the 130mm (5,1") barrel is good. In maker's box with original 1992 receipt. Excellent condition.

D7 9mmp Star M-43 "Firestar" Compact Pistol R 2750.00Introduced in 1990, Compact steel-framed carry gun with 7 round magazine and 3.4" barrel length. Slide sits inside of frame. Ambidextrous safety. Good overall condition.

D9 .44mag Astra Inox Stainless 6" Revolver R 3250.00Includes leather holster. Introduced in 1980, the stainless variant was discontinued in 1992. Pachmayr grips fitted. Adjustable rear sights to 6" barrel. Excellent condition.

D10 .45acp Star PD Compact Pistol R 2950.00Introduced in 1975, the PD is an alloy framed compact pistol with barrel length of 4" and 6 round magazine capacity. Chequered wooden grips and adjustable rear sight. Gun coated, slide matt re-blued. Good overall condition.

D11 9mmp Glock Mod 17 Pistol R 4750.00With Glock holster and Hogue slip-over grip. Barrel length of 4,4" with a magazine capacity of 17 rounds. Mag needed. Good condition.

D12 9mmp Glock Mod 19 Pistol R 4750.00With fobus holster and Hogue slip over grip. The Glock 19 has a 4" barrel and a 15 round magazine. It will also accept the 17 round magazine. First introduced in 1988, this pistol is still in production today. Good condition.

D13 9mmp Glock Mod 43 Ultra-Compact Pistol R 4950.00Very concealable, a single stack pistol with a magazine capacity of 6 rounds and a barrel length of 3,41"/86,5mm. There are a few light rust marks to slide which should clean-up quite easily, rest of pistol in good to good plus condition.

D14 .40s&w Glock Mod 27 Pistol R 5000.00Sub-compact version of the full-size Glocks with a magazine capacity of 9 rounds and 3,5" barrel length. Introduced in 1995.Good condition.

D15 7.65 CZ Mod 24 "Israeli" Pistol R 3250.00Produced 1922 to 1928. Locked breech with a 3,5" rotating barrel and magazine capacity of 8 rounds. Sloped grasping grooves to receiver. Czechoslovakia was one of the prime suppliers of firearms to the Israelis after WW2 and this pistol was obviously sourced from the Czech's. It has both IDF inspectors stamp to it as well as the Israeli Army ownership marking to the frame. Matching numbers, high percentage original finish. Only flaws are small chips to brown plastic chequered grips.

D16 7.62x25 Czech VZ 1952 Service Pistol R 4500.00Dated 1954 "Zimbabwean Army" "ZA" number to frame and slide denoting Zimbabwean Army issue, no doubt as some form of Soviet aid package. The VZ1952 served as the standard Czech service pistol for many years. It has a locked breech system that utilises two roller cams. Matt black finish with black vulcanite hand grips, 115mm (4 1/2") barrel, single-stack magazine with 8 rounds capacity. Good original condition. Good plus condition.

D17 9mmp (CZ) VZ Mod 1952 Service Pistol R 4500.00Proofed 1953. Dark brown vulcanite grips, 115mm/4,5" barrel and eight round magazine capacity. Good plus condition.

D18 7.65mm CZ Mod 50 Pistol R 1250.00This pistol is patterned after the Walther PP but with a few differences, the safety catch being located on the frame instead of the slide and dismantled by means of a catch on the side of the frame. Barrel length of 3,75" and an 8 round magazine capacity. Used by the Czech police force. Good plus condition.

D19 7.65mm CZ Mod 70 Pistol R 1150.00Proofed 1975. Broadly similar to the Walther PP pistol but with a different take-down system. An improvement of the Model 50. Good plus condition.

D20 9mmk CZ Mod 83 Pistol R 1750.00Proofed 92. Ambidextrous safety & magazine release, 3,8" barrel length and 12 round magazine capacity. Mag needed. Polygonal rifling. Originally designed for the Czech military as the Model 82 in 9x18mm Makarov calibre. Good to good plus condition.

D21 9mmp (Brno) CZ 75 Pistol R 4500.00Considered by many to be one of the finest combat pistols made, the CZ75 has a 15 round magazine capacity and 4,75" barrel. Proofed 94. Good overall condition.

Revolver has chequered grips with DWA logo them and adjustable sights. Unique Dan Wesson locking system to cylinder. All barrels have Wesson Hi-viz front sights to them. All in excellent condition.

Early dished toggles, no stock lug, unmarked thumb safety, 4,75"/120mm barrel, unmarked chamber, chequered walnut grips and correct wooden base magazine. "B & U" commercial proofs to barrel, frame & toggle. Pistol has been refinished at some time in the past and a rack number? has been added to the side-plate. Good refinished condition.

D142 9mP Luger P-08 "Black Widow" Service Pistol R 9500.00Original WW2 military P08 Luger pistol in 9mmp calibre manufactured by Mauser Oberndorf in 1941. Marked “41” on chamber signifying date of 1941 and “42” on toggle signifying Mauser manufacture. Marked “P08” and eagle “655” on frame. This rare model is known as the “41/42” variant amongst collectors. Matching numbers throughout on all parts of the pistol, only the magazine with correct aluminium base pad has a non-matching number. Pistol is 100% original and in excellent condition with high % blueing remaining, plastic grips perfect. In 1941 Mauser was no longer applying the straw coloured finish to the trigger, safety, mag catch, etc. and all parts of this pistol are blued, which is correct. This, together with the black plastic grips has caused many collectors to refer to this model as the “black widow” variant.

D144 9mmp Polish Radom Vis-35 Pistol R 8500.00Produced under Nazi occupation and then subsequently assembled in 1945 at Znaim in Moravia with a C, 2nd series serial number. Barrel length of 4,5" with an eight shot magazine. The Nazi produced model eliminated the decocking lever, stripping catch and stock slot. The pistol is stamped "P35p" and bear the Waffenamt inspector's mark "WaA77" to both slide and frame. Pistol has an early frame with stock recess to it, chequered wooden grips and original bluing to it. Good original overall.

Unfortunately it lost out to the Republic Arms RAP401. It was however the first LEW pistol to be designed from scratch and also one of the first SA handguns to utilise a polymer frame. The PMX90 pioneered many innovative features but was unfortunately never a commercial success. The Varan features a pressed metal steel frame with a polymer grip and trigger pressed over the grip frame and a 16 round magazine. First model with top-ejection system. Some light scratches to finish. Good original condition. Of particular interest to collectors of SA made firearms.

D170 12ga Jumbo Semi-Auto Shotgun R 9500.00A Rhodesian combat semi-auto shotgun based on the design of the Hi-Standard HS10 bullpup series of shotguns, assembled by Verle Industries and first demonstrated to the public in February 1977. It is assumed that 50 of these shotguns were made and the man behind the exercise was Joe Hale, an American living in Rhodesia. It has a length of 686mm without diverter and 740mm with diverter which was attached to muzzle and could be used to spread the shot pattern vertically or horizontally. It was produced by Aserma, a division of Reutech Defence Industries. It has an overall length of 500mm with the stock folded and a barrel length of 300mm. Shotgun displays handling wear to metal parts, all in good working order.

D172 12ga Truvelo-Neostead Pump-Action Combat Shotgun R 8500.00A revolutionary design, the S.A. designed and built was designed by Tony Neophytos with the first wooden mock-up in March 1990. Tony teamed up with Heyn Stead and Willie Pelser and the name "Neostead" was given to the gun being a combination of Neophytos and Stead. The gun features a double under-barrel magazine and a forward moving barrel. Manufacture was done by Truvelo and the has an overall length of 690mm, a reverse pump-action mechanism and a magazine capacity of 12 rounds. There were a total of 304 Neosteads built. Excellent condition.

The shotgun was produced by Techno Arms based in Selby Johannesburg ca. 1994 to 2012 and is a manually operated pump-action with a folding butt, with a barrel length of 320mm, ambidextrous safety, an overall length of 550mm and has a detachable magazine with a capacity of 5 rounds housed in the pistol grip. Excellent condition.

D174 37mm Milkor Stopper R 1750.00SA manufactured by Milkor, a company which was established in 1980. The Stopper is a single shot breakneck type with a 37mm smoothbore barrel, telescoping steel stock and which fires a range of non-lethal ammunition including rubber batons, CS teargas, illumination and various coloured smoke round. Used for crowd control by both the SAP and SADF. Excellent condition.

D175 9mmp Kommando Hmc R 2750.00Based on the Rhodesian LDP SMG, Maxim Parabellum in Vereeniging tooled up to produce the LDP and called it the Kommando, a name which was subsequently used in Rhodesia as well. A mechanism utilising a straight blowback action firing from an open bolt using a wrap-around design. Folding metal wire stock and an Uzi two row magazine housed in the pistol grip. Length with the stock folded of 425mm. Good plus condition.

D176 9mmp Sanna 77 Hmc R 2250.00Semi-auto carbine with folding stock produced by Dan Pienaar Enterprises 1978-83. A South African produced variant of the Rhodesian GM 16 & 16 HMC's which were in turn based on the Czech VZ48b SMG's. Barrel length of 289mm, overall length with stock folded of 450mm and a wedge shaped magazine which holds 40 rounds. Cracked and repaired stock, the hinge to the stock was the weak point of the SA built variant. Rest of carbine still in good order.

D177 9mmp FN UZI S1 Hmc R 9500.00Very scarce S.A. made variant of the renowned Israeli Uzi, produced by Armscor for SADF use 1967-1975. it was designated as the S1 SMG. Locally manufactured under license from IMI with assistance from Fabrique Nationale, all parts were completely interchangeable between the locally made and FN produced items. The S1 saw use with armoured vehicles and other troops where compactness was important. No markings to firearm, matching numbers', Armscor proof mark below barrel. First introduced in 1953, the Uzi has a 10,14" barrel, folding metal stock and 25round magazine capacity. All parts interchangeable with IMI guns. Good plus condition.

D178 9mmp BXP Hmc R 5750.00Designed for SADF use as a replacement for the Uzi SMG and produced by Milkor from 1980 onwards the BXP was purchased in small numbers by the SAP, Reccies and Prisons service. Semi-auto only model. Barrel length of 208mm, length with stock folded of 387mm, 32 & 22 round magazines. Good plus condition.

D181 9mmp "Rhodesian" TS 111 Carbine R 5500.00Designed by Tommy Steele, Rhodesian Army and ex-British Armourer in 1979. A blowback, semi-auto carbine firing from a closed bolt with a total length of 690mm, barrel length of 216mm and fed from an extended Browning Hi-Power magazine, the TS111 has a wooden stock and two pistol grips. A total of between 150 to 200 of these carbines were made with production ceasing in 1980. Woodwork is in good condition but for missing "TS" disc to pistol grip. Metalwork has lost a small percentage finish to sharp edges. Good overall.

D182 9mmp Rhodesian LDP Hmc R 2500.00The LDP was designed in Rhodesia by Alex Du Plessis and built by Lacoste Engineering, a Salisbury based company. The firearm was also nicknamed the "Rhuzi" [Rhodesian Uzi] by members of the public. Production started in 1977 and it was the first Rhodesian designed & built firearm. Following this, Maxim Parabellum went on to build the firearm in South Africa where it was known as the Kommando. The Rhodesian built variant remained in production until 1980.The LDP has a barrel length of 230mm, fires from an open bolt, folding shoulder butt and has a twenty-five round Uzi type staggered magazine. Light carrying wear, fair to good condition.

D186 12ga Hi-Standard Mod 10 "Police" Bullpup S/Auto Shotgun R 8500.00The SA made "Jumbo" was a very close copy of the Hi-Standard HS10 which was designed to be fired from a moving patrol car. A rotating butt-plate allowed the shotgun to be fired on it's side without ejection problems by the driver of a vehicle. The shotgun has an overall length of 740mm with a muzzle fitted barrel diverter and 686mm when not fitted. Barrel length of 465mm. Magazine capacity of 4 cartridges in under-barrel magazine, 6 cartridges with extender tube fitted. Shotgun shows some handling wear to cocking piece slide front sight mount, rest in good original condition.

D187 .45acp Thomson M1A1 SMG R 35000.00Introduced 1942, as a more cost-effective version of the Thompson 1928 SMG. Production totalled 542 000 units. It featured a simple L post rear sight, no fins to the barrel, no compensator and dispensed with the Blish locking mechanism utilised on the M1921 & M1928 variants. Marked "Thompson Submachine Gun Caliber .45M1A1" & "Auto-Ordnance Corporation Bridgeport Connecticut USA". Some overall light pitting to metalwork, butt, grip & fore-end good condition.

F12 .577/450 BSA & M Co Mk II Martini Service Rifle R 8500.00The 32" (81.3mm) round barrel service configuration, action dated 1886. The stock and forearm are in good condition. There are some unusual markings to this rifle which could have interesting historical connotations. The left-hand side of the breech is marked "J.J. Fourie 24-4-05" with an engraving of a horses head alongside it. Jopie Fourie [J.J.] was a well-known rebel leader of the 1914 rebellion who was executed on 20-12-1914 by the Govt. of the day. He was an active officer who had neglected to resign his commission before partaking in the rebellion. There is a belief that this rifle may have belonged to him. Good original overall condition.

F14 .557/450 Westley Richards ZAR Type 2 Service Rifle R 7500.00Manufactured 1897. "Made Especially for ZAR" to side of receiver. Barrel length of 33,25". The action has a prominent "hump" and is entirely different to earlier models with an absence of cocking indicator to the right side and also the large screw head visible on the right side. The cocking lever ends in a catch-like projection, is fixed to butt by two screws rather than a crosspin and the lever is oval & not round. Good used condition.

F15 .450BP 31/4" Martini-Henry Rifle - Pre 1898 R 7500.00Barrel length of 28,5", well figured stock with wrap-around chequering to both fore-end and straight wrist. A ventilated recoil pad has been fitted and is now showing signs of collapsing. Rifle has been professionally re-blued. RH side of action is marked "W.W. Greener St. Mary's Works Birmingham". Cocking lever has inlaid silver marking to it, as has the side mounted safety catch. Good refurbished condition.

These rifles were upgraded in 1912 for the new Spitzer ammunition by fitting a "Lange Vizier" rearsight. "Republica Peruana" with Peruvian crest to receiver ring. "Mauser Modelo Argentino 1891" & "Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken Berlin". Protruding single-stack magazine. Matching numbers throughout, including cleaning rod. Very good bore. Rifles are scarce, 30 thousand were ordered by Peru between 1892 & 1895. Good arsenal refinished condition.

Designed by "Vergueiro" a Portuguese officer the M1904 had a 29,1" barrel and were manufactured by DWM. Matching numbers. Approx 20 000 of these rifles were "gifted" to the UDF for use in the German Southwest an 1914/15. SA most probably has the only remaining examples of these rifles, all of the Portuguese held examples were converted to 7.9mm calibre and K98 type configuration in 1938. Good condition.

F89 .223rem ER15/CAR15 S/Auto Carbine R 12500.00One of the very early CAR15 type carbines manufactured by the "Ordnance Design Co." of "Santa Clara Calif. U.S.A." and marked "Model ER15". Owner of the Co. was Ed Ryberg, hence the "ER" designation. Rifle has a low three digit serial number and the Co. was one that made CAR15/M16 type rifles in the1972 to mid 1980's. Features a telescoping stock, forward assist lever, carry handle, short round handguard and short 13,5" barrel. These could not have been sold on the US commercial market because of the short barrel length and were no doubt intended for export sales. All appears to be in good working order.

F92 7.62mm R1/ Fn-Fal "Rhodesian Bush War" Rifle R 14500.00Rifle is a South African made type 1 Fal with "R1 7,62mm M within U" SADF markings to it. This is unusual in that most of the SA R1 rifles were "sanitised" before delivery to the Rhodesians by the removal of any SADF identifying features. A limited number of SADF rifles did slip through the cracks however in that were left behind in Rhodesian when SAP/SADF units serving in Rhodesia returned to SA without the rifles being "sanitised". Rifle is a Bush war veteran, carries original Rhodesian camo finish and shows expected service wear to it. This one is unusual in that it still has the carrying handle and rear sling swivel fitted. Rhodesian aluminium cocking handle, SA type grenade launcher sights fitted. Barrel length of 21" plus flash-hider/grenade discharger. Magazine holding 30 rounds.

F111 7.62x54R Romanian PSL Squad Auto Weapon/Sniper Rifle - Scoped R 65000.00Utilises PSO designated optics as does the Dragunov, but there the similarity ends. The PSL rifle was introduced in 1974 in semi-auto only and magazine capacity of 10rds. It was designed because the Soviet Union did not allow Romania license production of the Dragunov/SVD. Romanian military arsenal production 1979. Romanian arsenal marking is similar to the Russian Ishvest arsenal marking. Rifle is equipped with the Romanian manufactured "LPS 4x6 TIP2" scope which is identical to the PSA but for trium night sight rather than battery operation on the PSO. It is a long stroke operating design and there is no commonality of parts with the SVD or AK. Laminated wooden skeleton butt, wooden fore-end. This rifle is ex-Rhodesian "liberation army" stock and was no doubt provided as some form of aid package. Expected dings& scratches to stock, good overall.

Rifle is equipped with a folding stock, Lynx type scope rings and a 340mm barrel. Very good condition.

It utilised the same bolt action as the Mn410B and Ms420B, featured a new barrel, tangent sight & stock. Barrel is 26,8" long with a heavy profile and has parallel grooves on the top rear portion to facilitate the mounting a new sliding tangent sight with numbers 0-9 stamped onto the barrel. The stock was of a more substantial form and featured chequering to the fore-end and pistol grip. Walnut was of a better grade and it has a Mauser banner within a circular banner stamped in the right hand side of the stock. The Ms350B was the most expensive smallbore rifle offered by Mauser. Factory provenance included which shows that the rifle was built on 8 Sep 1911 as a .350 rigby magnum. Due to unavailability of ammunition the rifle was returned to Rigby in 1986 and the original barrel re-bored to .375h&h magnum and re-proofed. At the same time it was fitted with a Kahles Elia Super 1.5-4.5 telescope in an original quick-release Griffin & Howe sidemount. Mauser magnum action has serial number 35754 and was made in 1910. Medium-weight 24" barrel with Rigby express rear sight and ramp front sight. Engraving on top of barrel reads "John Rigby & Co. 43 Sackville St. London. W." On the receiver ring is engraved ".375 Magnum Rigby-Mauser". Rifle is fitted with the very rare Rigby pop-up peep sight on the rear of the bolt. Overall weight is 8,5lbs and l.o.p is 14.5". High grade walnut stock has typical Rigby profile with flat-top checkering and solid rubber buttpad. Steel pistol grip cap with trap holds a spare front sight insert. In its original Rigby canvas and leather case with "Rigby 43 Sackville St" trade label. Round sling eyes on stock and barrel. Rifle and scope in absolute mint condition. Bore also excellent. b) A PREMIUM PAYABLE BY THE PURCHASER OF 12,5% OF THE BID PRICE, + VAT at 15% thereon (i.e. a total premium of 14.375%)

If the foregoing or any other conditions contained herein are not complied with by the purchaser, in addition to any other remedies available to us and the consignor by law, including but without limitation to, the right to hold the purchaser liable for the purchase price, then we at our sole discretion may:

3. All payments to be made within 7 days. Property sold at auction and not paid for in full or collected, within Six (6) elapsed Months from the date of the auction, shall be deemed to be abandoned UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTIFIED.The auctioneer reserves the right to dispose of the property in any manner he sees fit and recover reasonable administration and/or storage costs from the disposal of said property and/or the purchaser.

5. We reserve the right to reject any bid. The highest bid acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be deemed to be the final bid price. In the event of any dispute between bidders or, if in the soleopinion of the auctioneer he doubts the validity of a bid, the auctioneer shall have the sole right to determine the successful bid or to re-offer the property in dispute for sale. Our sale records shall be conclusive in any dispute during or after conclusion of the sale.

If for any reason beyond our control, including but not limited to, fire, theft, acts of God, or insurrection, we are prevented from delivering the property to the purchaser, then we will be liable only for the sum actually paid therefore by the purchaser and shall in no event include payment for consequential or incidental damages.

9. If we undertake packaging or handling of any lots on the purchaser’s behalf it is done so entirely at the purchasers risk. We are not liable for any acts or omissions of carriers or packers including those recommended by us. Such carriers or packers may carry there own insurance and any claims for loss or damage should be addressed directly to them.

10. These Conditions of Sale and the respective rights of the purchaser and Classic Arms, are governed by the laws of South Africa. By bidding at an auction in person, or by agent, order-bid or telephone or other means, the buyer or bidder agrees to be bound by these Conditions of Sale.Any dispute controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement, or the breach, termination or validity thereof, brought by or against Classic Arms (but not including claims brought against the consignor by the purchaser of the lots consigned hereunder) shall be resolved by the parties in 10.

These Conditions of Sale, shall bind the successors and assigns of all bidders and purchasers and inure to the benefit of successors and assigns. No waiver amendment or modification of the terms hereof (other than posted notices or oral announcements during the sale) shall bind us unless specifically stated in writing signed by us.

11. Absentee Bids. As a service to those bidders that are unable to attend the actual auction, we may at our sole discretion accept bids in advance of sale by telephone, or in writing on the bidding forms provided in the back of the sale catalogue.

Please note that we cannot accept “buy” bids and all bids must clearly state the maximum (excluding buyers premium and any applicable taxes) bid that the bidder is willing to pay. In the event that identical absentee bids are received then the first bid received shall take. We accept no responsibility for not executing an absentee bid for any reason whatsoever.

12. Estimate prices. As a service to our clients, we furnish presale estimates for all lots. These estimates are intended as a guide to current market value and represent no warranty to bidder or seller as to the actual price. Bidding normally begins at 50% of the estimate but the final price may be more or less than the estimate value.

13. Sale Increments. The following increments apply to all lots bid for. Please note that the auctioneer will increment the purchase price at these rates and not at any rate bid from the floor.
