ANTOINE MARTIN | Slow RunnerSlow Runner: a new concept – decelerating time. An original idea from the Manufacture Antoine Martin. Drastically reducing the frequency to 7,200 semi-oscillations (vibrations) per hour, meaning 1 Hz, while preserving the qualities of a high-precision watch. On the practical side, the escapement and balance-spring are made of silicon. One essential point is that the giant 24 mm-diameter balance generates so much kinetic energy that it cannot be disturbed. Moreover, the balance features two gold adjustment screws, the balance rim is in grade 3 titanium, and the ultra-precise balance-spring production process enabled watchmakers to optimise its inner point of attach-ment and its curve. All these technical details serve just one mission: that of slowing time down in order to sublimate it.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, AM36.001 calibre, 199 parts, 23 jewels, 7,200 vib/h, 92-hour power reserve; silicon escapement and balance-spring, grade 3 titanium balance, non-deformable steel balance bridges. Functions Hours, minutes, seconds and power reserve. Case Stainless steel or 18k pink gold, 42 mm. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, transparent back. Water-resistant to 50 m (5 ATM/165 ft). Dial Silver-toned or anthracite. Off-centred hours and minutes. Small seconds on a subdial at 6 o’clock. Power-reserve indication between 9 and 10 o’clock. Strap Black alligator leather with triple folding clasp in stainless steel or 18k pink gold.

ARMIN STROM | Armin Tourbillon Water Armin Strom joins the highly exclusive circle of brands that develop and produce a calibre with a tourbillon in-house. This marks the introduction of a dedicated collection perpetuating the signature codes of the Bienne-based brand and entirely in tune with the tra-ditions of Swiss Fine Watchmaking. Equipped with ATC11 calibre, Tourbillon Water owes its personality and its technical sophistication from the heart of this subtle chemistry. The complication located at 9 o’clock is distinguished by its 18-carat white gold lever, as well as by a construction placing the balance and the seconds pinion along the same axis. The hand-wound calibre has a 10-day power reserve. It is driven by two barrels of which the winding mechanism is visible

through the dial: an opening onto the mechanism bearing the unmistakable Armin Strom signature.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, Armin Strom tourbillon ATC 11 calibre, 184 parts, 18,000 vib/h, 161/2

lines, 24 jewels, 10-day power reserve, twin barrel, balance with screws and Breguet overcoil balance-spring, 18k white gold lever wheel and lever. Functions Hours, minutes and seconds. BADOLLET | IvresseBeneath a seemingly subdued surface lie hidden mechanical depths… Ivresse is the latest manufacture timepiece by Badollet. The rectangular case, in platinum, embraces the wrist with its gentle curves while its finishes convey absolute purity that serves to highlight the midnight blue dial. Such contrast is heightened by the brushed finish of the dial which itself is set against a circular satin-brushed hour ring. This refined aesthetic, the work of Eric Giroud, is equalled only by the mechanical complexity that brings this timepiece to life. The flying tourbillon mo-vement, exclusively designed and developed for Badollet, is delibera-tely hidden from view, revealed only through the transparent case back whose sapphire crystal takes the shape of the infinity symbol, a tribute to time as the universal driving force.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, flying tourbillon, 120-hour power reserve; domed movement with cone-shaped going train, hanging barrel, hand-decorated plate in nickel silver, traditionally-executed chamfering, chasing, counter-sinking, circular graining and straight graining. Functions Hours and minutes. Case 950 platinum, 30 x 53.80 mm. Sapphire crystal with extra-hard, anti-reflective coating on both sides. Flat, anti-reflective transparent back. Water-resistant to 30 m (3 ATM/100 ft). Dial Dark blue, vertical satin-brushed finish on the back. 12 nickel-plated, mirror-polished, riveted metal hour-markers. 36 nickel-plated, incised beads. Riveted applied Badollet logo. Strap Midnight blue alligator, hand-rolled edges, 950 platinum buckle.

ARNOLD & SON | DBSDBS. Three initials that pay tribute to the heritage and expertise of Arnold & Son, once again placing the brand in the forefront of horo-logical complications. Sidereal time and mean solar time (local time) appear side by side on the same dial. Between 1796 and 1799, John Roger Arnold achieved considerable feats in this field, now echoed two centuries later by the brand bearing his name. This timepiece featuring perfect aesthetic and mechanical symmetry bears two in-dependently operating counters. Powering these two entities is an entirely in-house designed, developed and produced “mirror-type” calibre. It comprises two balances and two barrels – one running at a 24-hour speed and the other at 23 hours, 56 minutes and 4 seconds. The openworked dial provides a clear display of the two mechanisms operating side by side without interfering with each

other. Doubtless liable to propel aficionados into even higher orbit are the sidereal and solar indications appearing at 12 o’clock and which are read off in 24-hour mode.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound Calibre A&S1311, 42 jewels, 21,600 vib/h, 40-hour power reserve; rho-diumed nickel silver, hand-bevelled bridges and sides, “Côtes de Genève” motif, blued screws. Functions Hours, minutes and seconds in local time, sidereal hours and minutes and 24-hour indication of local and sidereal time. Case 18k pink gold, 44 mm. Local time crown at 3 o’clock and sidereal time crown at 9 o’clock. Cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides and transparent caseback. Water-resistant to 30 m (3 ATM/100 ft). Dial Silver-toned white and opaline silver-toned, openworked. Central local time seconds hand. Local time indication at 3 o’clock and sidereal time at 9 o’clock. 24-hour local time and sidereal time indications. Strap Hand-sewn brown alligator leather with 18k pink gold buckle.

BREGUET | Breguet Type XXII 3880 10 Hz Or RoseThe iconic Breguet Type XXII this year extends to a new iteration in rose gold, with a movement vibrating at an increased frequency of 10 Hz (72,000 vibrations/hour) thanks to a silicon escapement with flat balance spring. This high frequency delivers outstanding precision and regulating performance for a chronograph whose seconds hand sweeps the dial in 30 seconds. The red and white markers on the minute scale, on the inner bezel ring, show whether the hand is on its first or second rotation. In addition, this exceptional timepiece incorporates a flyback function, a second time zone with 24-hour indicator, date, and small seconds making one complete revolution in half a minute.

Movement Mechanical automatic, 589F calibre, 13¾ lines, 27 jewels, 72,000 vib/h, 40-hour power reserve, high-frequency silicon escapement and balance spring. Functions Hours, minutes, seconds (30-seconds base), date, flyback chronograph (½ minute), dual time zone with 24-hour indicator for the second time zone. Case 18k rose gold, fluted caseband, 44 mm. DE BETHUNE | DB16 Régulateur TourbillonWith the DB16, De Bethune celebrates classic Fine Watchmaking in a ballet of complications. The architecture of the DB2509 calibre is built around a silicon and titanium tourbillon beating at 36,000 vib/h, one of the fastest and lightest on the market. This movement also drives a power indicator, seconds, as well as a retrograde display of the age of the moon. Hidden on the back of the watch, this masterpiece will surprise connoisseurs looking for subtle details. The classically understated dial thus provides readings of the per-petual calendar and spherical moon-phase indications, sublimated by the Manufacture’s signature silver-toned guilloché motif. The steady, rhythmical beat of the jumping seconds embodies the very essence

of the horological emotions procured by this stunning creation.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, DB 2509 calibre, silicon/titanium tourbillon, 499 parts, 45 jewels, 36,000 vib/h, 4-day power reserve; double self-regulating barrel, silicon/white gold balance, silicon escape-wheel, Côtes de Bethune decoration. FRANC VILA | FVi N°8 Tourbillon Intrepido SuperLigero SkeletonThe FVi No.8 Tourbillon INTREPIDO SuperLigero Skeleton pursues the concept first introduced five years ago. In 2011, the INTREPIDO design, a second evolution of the Franc Vila case, also adopted the SuperLigero approach. The association of ultra-thin materials and proven sturdiness are the starting point for these products. Their common denominator is “Lightnium”, an aluminium and lithium alloy used in aeronautical engineering and picked up by the watchmaking both in development movements and in the aesthetic expression of these creations. The FVi No.8 features the famous bezel with its combined elliptical and circular shape that has become a brand signature. It is equipped with a hand-wound tourbillon movement

with Lightnium bridges, silicon escape-wheel and lever, as well as an oscillating weight adorned with Côtes de Genève – all combining to prove that the brand is uncompromising on both technical and aesthetic fronts. 8-piece limited edition.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, FV N°8 calibre, tourbillon, 178 parts, 17 jewels, 21,600 vib/h, 4.5-day power reserve; 5N Lightnium bridges, flat balance-spring, brass oscillating weight adorned with “Côtes de Genève”. Functions Hours and minutes. Case Elliptical and circular bezel with 18k pink gold inserts. DLC-coated black titanium case middle. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal, front and back. GIRARD-PERREGAUX | DLC Titanium Bi-Axial TourbillonGirard-Perregaux offers an exclusive limited edition of its Bi-Axial Tourbillon. The modern architecture of the iconic movement is enhanced by a black DLC titanium case as well as magnificently contrasting colours and materials. This timepiece is an authentic mas-terpiece equipped with two concentric cages enabling the regulating organ to perform multidimensional rotations. An inner carriage bearing the balance, the balance-spring and the escapement, spins once around its axis every 45 seconds; while an outer carriage makes a full turn in one minute and fifteen seconds, thus enabling a rotation around a second axis. The second emblematic signature feature is the perfectly aligned architecture of the bridges, reflecting the crea-

tions of Constant Girard and his successive research that gave rise to the “Tourbillon with Three Gold Bridges”. 8-piece limited edition.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, GPE0201 calibre, Bi-Axial Tourbillon, 28 jewels, 21,600 vib/h, 72-hour power reserve; two coaxial barrels, barrel bridges and centre bridge in 18k white gold, balance-spring with Phillips, variable-inertia balance with 18k gold adjusting screws. HUBLOT | Classic Fusion Tourbillon Squelette Black CeramicThe latest new release from Hublot radiates a powerful visual pre-sence. The Tourbillon Squelette Black Ceramic remains true to the brand’s identity codes, including a black monochrome design, while displaying a slimmer profile that gives it a more classic touch. But if there is one brand that knows how to combine tradition with the future, Hublot is definitely it! The openworked movement entirely designed, developed and produced by the Hublot watchmakers is resolutely graphic. The polished and satin-brushed black ceramic case radiates a sophisticated, contemporary appeal. And the most beautiful of all horological complications – the tourbillon – is revea-led in all its splendour at 6 o’clock. In a nod to brand history, the

hands echo the design of the very first Hublot watches, providing a fine demonstration of fusion between past and present, behind hand-crafted expertise and creative vision. 99-piece limited series.

HYT | H1 Pink Gold - Black DLCThe concept behind the H1 by HYT remains defiantly the same, and as astonishing as ever! This new version matches pink gold with the black DLC titanium of the original. A hybrid wristwatch combining horological mechanics with fluid mechanics seems like an impossible dream, and yet… Two reservoirs take position at 6 o’clock. As one compresses, the other expands, pushing the liquid through the capillary. As the hours go by, the fluorescent liquid advances. The meniscus, in the shape of a half moon, marks the breaking point with the other fluid in the tube, indicating the time. At 18:00, in a retrograde mo-vement, the fluorescent liquid reverts back to its original position. Overlapping the minute regulator in the centre is the small seconds counter that looks for all the world like a waterwheel. Revolutionary and inspired, HYT takes an out-of-the-box approach to time.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, exclusive HYT calibre, 28,800 vib/h, 35 jewels, hand-chamfered bridges with “Côtes de Genève” motif, rhodium-plated bellows, 65-hour power reserve. Functions Retrograde fluid hours, minutes, seconds and power-reserve indicator. Case 18k rose gold and black DLC titanium with brushed finish, 48.8 mm. Rubber-clad screw-lock crown. Strap Rubber, black DLC titanium buckle.

MANJAZ | Yin and Yang TourbillonYin and Yang tourbillon, two timepieces, two expressions of the Manjaz values: the entire Swiss expertise and tradition combined with Chinese philosophy. This concept has been forged under the guidance of watchmaker Cédric Grandperret. The prime purpose is to highlight the supreme horological complication, the tourbillon. Majestically positioned at 6 o’clock, it enhances the symmetry of the dial and its geometrical play: vertical Côtes de Genève, Roman numerals and a guilloché disc engraved with the brand logo. Moreover, Manjaz is also keenly aware that a modern touch is very important, and the dial is finely crafted, hollowed and sublimated. The 41 mm pink gold case provides a perfect setting in which to magnify this cosmopolitan harmony. The Yin – powered by the MAZ-001 calibre – and the Yang – by the MAZ-002 calibre – face off in a splendid mechanical duel. It

will now be up to enthusiasts to choose between these two protagonists.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, Tourbillon MAZ-001 calibre (Yin) and MAZ-002 (Yang), 16 jewels, 21,600 vib/h, 42-hour power reserve. Functions Hours and minutes. Case 18k pink or yellow gold, 41 mm. MAURICE LACROIX | Masterpiece Seconde MystérieuseMaurice Lacroix brings a new face to time measurement with its Masterpiece Seconde Mystérieuse. Fascinating, captivating, uncon-ventional… this timepiece is all of these but, more than anything, it is mysterious. Driven by a new proprietary movement, the ML215, – the twelfth to be entirely developed by the brand – it indicates seconds on a linear display combining vertical and horizontal scales, read per 15 seconds. The mystery comes from a blued steel hand that rotates on its axis, creating the illusion of levitation. Hours and minutes are shown at 2 o’clock; the rest of the dial is cut away to reveal rhodium- or ruthenium-plated bridges whose geometric form lends an infinitely contemporary feel. Made as two 125-piece limited series.

Movement Mechanical automatic, ML215 calibre, 48 jewels, 18,000 vib/h, 50-hour power reserve, rhodium or ruthenium plating, sanded finish, “Côtes de Genève” motif on the rotor. Functions Hours, minutes and seconds. Case Stainless steel or steel with black PVD coating, satin and polished finish, 43 mm. Cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Water-resistant to 50 m (5 ATM/5 bar). Dial Open-worked. Offset hours and minutes, white lacquer, rhodium-plated Arabic numerals. Seconds display on a white background with black and grey printed minute scale under a flat sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Strap Brown or black crocodile, lined with brown or black calfskin with coordinated top-stitching.

MCT | Sequential One - S110The resolutely technical design of the Sequential One – S110, an evolution of the previous model made by Eric Giroud, is the work of watchmaking designer Fabrice Gonet. Its sophisticated and immediately recognisable style is a tribute by MCT to the emergence of a style combi-ning the avant-garde with traditional Swiss horology. The openworked dial has been entirely removed in order to reveal the depth of the watch and to accentuate the perspectives created by the prism assemblies, the cross-shaped bridge and the minutes pointer. The minutes disc, the central element of the Sequential One – S110, highlights the com-plexity of the design while underscoring the harmony of the passing of time. The pointers, like the jumping hour hand, demonstrate me-ticulous attention to details, while the new style of the numerals on the prisms and the minutes disc are decidedly more contemporary.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound, 471 parts, 81 jewels, 18,000 vib/h, 40-hour power reserve, patent for the minute disc rotation with energy accumulation. Functions Sequential indication of the hours, jumping minutes and small seconds. Case Grade 5 titanium with or without black DLC coating, 44 parts, 45 mm. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and sapphire back with anti-reflective coating on the inside. Water-resistant to 30 m (3 ATM/100 ft). Dial Hours indicated by 4 assemblies of 5 triangular prisms. Minutes indication by a 2 three-part 270° rotating disc. Central sapphire crystal dividing the dial into two separate parts. Strap Hand-sewn calfskin lined with hypoallergenic leather, safety folding clasp.

PIERRE DEROCHE | TNT Royal Retro Power ReservePierre DeRoche offers a new interpretation of its iconic TNT Royal Retro model enriched with a power reserve. The spectacular com-plication thus makes way during a full 20 seconds for the elegant mechanism of the new function positioned at 6 o’clock. The four re-maining retrograde seconds mechanisms are nonetheless enough to give this timepiece unique character and to display the avant-garde talent of the watchmaker from the Vallée de Joux. Loyal to the TNT spirit, the movement, and notably the four power-reserve wheels, are entirely visible and magnificently decorated. A fine mechanical blend of strength and delicacy.

Movement Mechanical automatic, exclusive Dubois Dépraz calibre, 50 jewels, decorated and engraved oscillating weight, 12-pivot central bridge and 6 chamfered and satin-finished seconds bridges, moving retrograde hand indicators, hand affixed by a transversal pin, 4 retrograde seconds hands on gears, strip-spring return. Functions Hours, minutes, seconds with retrograde function on four 10-second sectors, date and power reserve. Case Black PVD-coated titanium middle, 47.5 mm. Bezel, lugs, crown guard and crown in steel. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal, front and back. Water-resistant to 100 m (10 ATM/330 ft). Strap Alligator with steel safety folding clasp.

REBELLION | T-1000 GothamThis new super-hero of a whole new kind is dedicated to fighting… time. With the T-1000 Gotham by Rebellion, expect a forceful inter-vention! With its new armour made of titanium – either natural or black DLC-coated – it features a whole new look similar to that of a tank. Moreover, its mechanism now available in black, gold, red, blue or purple versions gives it a resolutely eye-catching look! Its secret weapon lies in its stunning 1,000-hour power reserve – a world-first achievement made possible by the six barrels wound in parallel via a central prop shaft driving two chains. The time is read off vertically on two rollers. At 6 o’clock, the double hairspring inclined at 39° releases colossal power at a precisely controlled rate, notably thanks to an oversized lever. The T-shaped sapphire crystal also gives pride of place to this superb sculpture with its nerves of steel. 25-piece limited edition.

SPERO LUCEM | La ClémenceFirmly anchored in the Eaux-Vives district of Geneva, a stone’s throw from Lake Léman and its famous Jet d’eau, the Spero Lucem brand has been created through a rare association of horological com-petencies. Yvan Arpa thereby orchestrates a sincere tribute to his home town and has named the brand’s first model, a minute repea-ter “La Clémence” – after one of the bells on Geneva’s cathedral. Equipped with a tourbillon with a carriage performing one turn per minute, this exceptional model houses a third and unprecedented complication in the shape of hands which “go crazy” when the striking mechanism is activated. Everything is done to ensure a complete focus on the sound, but suddenly the visual magic takes over once more and the hands return to their correct place. A brand that aspires to light… Spero Lucem.

JULIEN COUDRAY 1518 | Manufactura 1528Know-how and tradition meet and merge under the impetus of Fabien Lamarche and his “collective” of experts. Manufacture 1528 revisits the classic three-hand watch and adds a rare function: a service indicator. An oil drop appears through an enamelled gold aperture at 12 o’clock, indicating the need for a maintenance service. Other exclusive feature lies in the fact that all the main movement parts are machined from solid gold and then hand-decorated. The dial motif – a modern in-terpretation of the steeple clocks on Renaissance churches – is crafted in grand feu enamel. This model is issued in 28-piece limited series per version: yellow gold, red gold, white gold or platinum.

Movement Mechanical hand-wound in hand-decorated and engraved 18k solid red gold, service indicator in enamelled 18k gold, 34 jewels, 28,800 vib/h, 55-hour power reserve. CUERVO Y SOBRINOS | Historiador FlameanteThe Swiss brand with a Latin soul, Cuervo Y Sobrinos excels in brin-ging its history to life in its watches. Once again this year, the brand revives a landmark model from its past. The Historiador Flameante pays tribute to a 1950s watch. Flameante or flaming like the finely guilloché dial and movement finishes: the Côtes de Genève pattern on the plate, the blued screws, and the “Testimony of Style since 1882” inscription engraved around the movement, all visible through the sapphire crystal back. The hand-wound calibre, with small seconds offset at 6 o’clock, is housed inside a rose gold case whose 40 millimetre diameter is both classic and universally pleasing. AUGUSTE REYMOND | Jazz Age Moon PhaseBack to the 1930s, halcyon days for Auguste Reymond when the company ranked among those known in the industry as the “watch barons”. This was also the golden age of jazz, and the moon phase a complication the company already mastered. The silver-toned guilloché dial assembles small seconds and 24-hour display at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter, day and month windows at 12 o’clock, and a 12-hour counter and moon phases at 6 o’clock. The mobile attachments add to the elegance of this original, deliciously vintage timepiece.

EBERHARD & CO. | Chrono 4 Géant Full InjectionThe flagship collection at Eberhard & Co embraces a new all-black edition, the Chrono 4 Géant “Full Injection”, a timepiece so tech-nically complex that only 500 will be produced. The steel case and strap buckle are covered in black DLC-Dianoir® - Diamond Like Coating - a patented, carbon surface treatment. The 46 mm case also undergoes a special process of low-temperature carbon diffu-sion that hardens the steel by allowing carbon atoms to penetrate its surface. Two processes that strengthen the watch’s resistance and add to its style. This same explosive energy resurfaces in the black dial with “Côtes de Genève” motif, the coordinating snailed coun-ters, and the rubber strap with vertical sculpted lines.

bubbles and thus enhances its resistance. Finally, the mass of the red sapphire crystal was coloured directly during its making, thereby guaranteeing its unalterability.

Son of a Gun Target offers further proof of the eccentricity or genius of the Swiss watch industry’s favourite agent provocateur through this ori-ginal association between time and firearms. The dial and the bezel represent a target and this time there are no bullets floating around the dial, but instead traces of cannon powder mixed with gold leaf. ALFEX | Translucent 8xA watch, an accessory, a piece of jewellery: with its Translucent 8x, the Ticino-based Alfex brand explores uncharted territory. This contemporary and avant-garde watch innovates first and foremost in terms of its shape with a bangle-type textured acrylic strap, and secondly through its lines. An octagon duplicated all around the strongly curving bracelet creates a wire mesh pattern composing a sequence of “8” numbers echoing the mathematical symbol of infinity. The off-centred dial shakes up conventions by framing the outlines of four assembled octagons. This model showcases the technical and aesthetic talents of Alfex by achieving a perfect balance between materials: supple and transparent acrylic on the one hand, and sturdy steel on the other, all in harmonious shades of grey. Like all Alfex creations, Translucent 8x embodies the watchmaker’s commitment

to producing resolutely future-oriented timepieces with high added value.

The new Chronographe Grande Date is no exception to this tradition. From the very first glance, the shimmering mother-of-pearl dial reveals two waves of 17 variously-sized diamonds rippling out from the centre. Twin apertures at 6 o’clock frame the double-disc large date display. The red gold case with diamond-set bezel contains the Blancpain

MATTHIA’S & CLAIRE | EtruscaMatthia’s & Claire presents Etrusca and once again displays its watchmaking and jewellery-making talent. The gemset white gold model enriching the existing jewellery collection refers to an historical period known for its magnificent goldsmithing: the Etruscan civili-sation of which the Ticino-based brand reproduces the distinctive granulation technique. This consists of adorning the surface to be decorated with thousands of tiny gold granules and of fixing them to the piece of jewellery by soldering, yet without modifying their finesse. The bezel and bracelet links display this 7th century expertise now interpreted in a timepiece.

RSW | WindflowerRSW highlights the senses with its Windflower model. The pure dial and the satin strap add a final touch of class that is indispensable in meeting the values and aspirations of contemporary women.

MUZO | Muzo 13.98-Carat EmeraldThe Muzo emerald mine in Colombia is legendary, as was Golconda for diamonds and Mogok for rubies. It is nonetheless the only one still being worked to date after five centuries of continuous operation. Since November 2009, Muzo International, a branch of the Texma Group, has owned exclusive rights to operate the mine. The group has instated a “mine to market” process that is unique in the world and based on three pillars. Firstly, a quality control guaranteeing the exclusive use of cedarwood oil to enhance the stones, and only where necessary. Secondly, the certificate of origin, issued by prestigious Swiss laboratories. And thirdly, traceability, with numbering of each gem enabling them to be tracked from extraction through to sale. On February 12th 2012, Muzo extracted a 51.95-carat rough eme-

rald that was then cut in its Bogota workshops to produce a 13.98-carat emerald.
