1. VISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CASE TAKING AND REPERTORY

To mould a Homoeopath enabling him for prompt selection of the indicated

remedy.

2. MISSION

To develop the art of case taking, analysis, evaluation, erecting the totality,

selection of proper repertory and arrive at the plan of treatment.

To develop database of common symptoms for flawless case recording to

repertorise the exact similimum.

To use modern methods of teaching and training like

Monologue - one way teaching (team teaching demonstration, lecture

with audio-visual.)

Dialogue two way interaction(tutorial, group discussion, interactive

presentation, question-answer techniques, seminars and case

presentations)

Learning by doing –Project work, self study and practical exercise,

assignment, workshop)

To conduct, learning of rubrics with its terminologies, abbreviations, case oriented

discussions and give practice in the use of mechanically aided repertories

(computer repertories).

To develop necessary skill and technology for simplifying and bettering the

process of case taking and repertorisation.

linguistics & body language, data- base etc.

Symptomatology – definitions and classifications of symptoms.

Case analysis and anamnesis

Evaluation of symptoms

Concept of totality of symptoms.

Record keeping.

Repertorisation on basic repertories(viz. BTPB, Kent, BBCR)

Part II

Source and origin of repertories

Different types of repertories- merits and demerits

Logic of Repertorisation

Different methods of repertorisation

Study of different individual group of repertories- logico utilitarian group,

puritan, special, regional or particular group of Repertories

Terminology : meaning of different technical terminology used in

Reperories

Computer software programs- computer repertorisation, patient-data

management- computer application in Repertorization

Paper-II: Repertory Applied

Repertory- its relation to Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine.
