No.II(2)/cFcP/942/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 172 of the Tamil Nadu co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby authorises the Additional Registrar of co-operative Societies, chennai Region and the Regional Joint Registrars of co-operative Societies, to exercise, within their respective jurisdiction, the powers vested in the Government by sub-section (7) of Section 33 of the said Act for the purpose of appointing the Managing Director to the Employees co-operative credit Societies which have an annual turnover of not less than rupees five crores and continuously made profit for not less than three years as per the audited accounts, in the cadre not higher than that of the co-operative Sub-Registrar of the co-operative Department, for a period of one year from the 9th November 2017.

(a) the Multipurpose Health Supervisors (Male) of the Primary Health centres as Registrars for the Government District Head Quarters Hospitals, Government Medical college Hospitals, Taluk and Non-Taluk Hospitals situated in the Village Panchayats;

No.II(2)/HwMP/944/2017.—The Governor of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the schedule below have to be acquired for Highways purpose to wit for the construction of Road Over Bridge in Ramanathapuram-Kilakarai Road at km 0/2 (between Ramanathapuram – Uchipulli Railway Stations at km 615/200-300) in lieu of existing Level crossing No.501 at Ramanathapuram Taluk and District and it having already been decided that the entire amount of compensation to be awarded for the lands are to be paid out of the funds controlled or managed by chief Engineer (Projects), Highways Department, chennai-15 after considering the cause shown by the owners or other persons having interest in the said lands as the case may be, do hereby publish the following Notice under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).

NOTIcE

Under sub-sect ion (1) of Sect ion 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001, (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the lands specified in the Schedule below and measuring an extent of 3682.1 sq.mts of dry and natham lands in Ramanathapuram Town and Sakkarakottai Village in Ramanathapuram Taluk and District to the same, a little more or less needed for the Highways purpose for the formation of Road Over Bridge in Ramanathapuram – Kilakarai Road at km 0/2 (between Ramanathapuram – Uchipulli Railway Stations at km 615/200-300) in lieu of existing Level crossing No.501 in Ramanathapuram District.

The Plan of the lands is kept in the office of the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram and may be inspected at any time during the office hours.

The plan of the lands under acquisition is kept in the Office of the Special District Revenue Officer (Land Acquisition), Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project-II, chennai and the Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition), Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project-II, Kancheepuram and may be inspected at any time during office hours.

Explanation-IPart Time Employees.- (i) Minimum rates of basic wages:—wherever

part time employees are engaged in time rate basis, their minimum rate of basic wages per day shall be calculated as per the column no. 3(ii) and minimum rates of basic wages per hour shall be calculated as per the column no. 3(iii) of the Tables.

(ii) Dearness Allowance:—In addition to the minimum rates of basic wages, dearness allowance are payable proportionate to the day or hours of work performed by them.

Explanation- II (1) Dearness Allowance:—In addition to the minimum rates of basic wages fixed above, the employees shall be paid dearness allowance as indicated below:-

(i) The dearness allowance is linked to the Average consumer Price Index Number of the chennai city for the year 2010, that is 161 points (with base year 2001 = 100) and for every raise of one point over and above 161 points, an increase of Rs.37.25 (Thirty seven rupees and twenty five paise only) per month shall be paid as dearness allowance.

(ii) The dearness allowance shall be calculated every year on the first April on the basis of the average of the consumer Price indices of the preceding 12 (twelve) months, that is from January to December.

(iii) The first calculation of the dearness allowance shall thus be effective from the date of publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, based on the Average chennai city consumer Price Index Number of the previous year.

(2) where the nature of work is the same no distinction in the payment of wages shall be made between the male and female employees.


(3) To arrive at monthly rate of wages, the daily rate of wages shall be multiplied by 30.

(4) To arrive at daily rate of wages, monthly wages shall be divided by 26.

(5) To arrive at hours rate of wages, daily rate of wages shall be divided by 8.

(6) wherever the existing wages are higher than the minimum wages fixed herein, the same shall be continued to be paid.

No.II(2)/HO/953/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the first paragraph of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Civil courts Act, 1873 (central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby alters the number of Subordinate Judges to be appointed under the said Act for Dindigul District as Six with effect from the date on which the Additional Subordinate Judge assumes charge of the Subordinate Judge's court at Palani.

No.II(2)/HO/954/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by the second paragraph of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu civil courts Act, 1873 (central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the High court, Madras hereby varies the number of Subordinate Judges to be appointed for the Subordinate Judge's court at Palani in Dindigul District as two with effect from the date on which the Additional Subordinate Judge assumes charge of that court.

No.II(2)/HO/957/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3-A of the Tamil Nadu civil courts Act, 1873 (central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby appoints one Additional District Judge to the District court at Tiruvannamalai and also alters the number of District Judges, and Additional District Judges to be appointed to the said District court as four with effect on and from the date on which the Additional District Judge assumes charge of that court.

Constitution of Additional District Court at Nagapattinam under the Act.


No.II(2)/HO/958/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3-A of the Tamil Nadu civil courts Act, 1873 (central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby appoints one Additional District Judge to the District court at Nagapattinam and also alters the number of District Judges and Additional District Judges to be appointed to the said District court as three with effect on and from the date on which the said Additional District Judge, assumes charge of the said court.

Appointment of Subordinate Judge to the Sub Court at Omalur in Salem District under the Act.


No.II(2)/HO/959/2017.—In exercise of the power conferred by the first paragraph Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Civil courts Act, 1873 (central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby alters the number of Subordinate Judges to be appointed under the said Act for Salem District as Nine with effect from the date on which the Subordinate Judge assumes charge of the Subordinate Judge's court at Omalur.

No.II(2)/HO/962/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu civil courts Act, 1873 (central Act III of 1873), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the Subordinate Judge's court at Mettur shall cease to have jurisdiction over the District Munsif's court at Omalur and hereby fixes the local limits of the District Munsif's court at Omalur as the local limits of jurisdiction of the Subordinate Judge's court at Omalur with effect on and from the date on which the Subordinate Judge assumes charge of the Subordinate Judge's court at Omalur.
