新家園協會成立於2010年6月，服務覆蓋香港與內地，是一間致力於服務新來港、少數族裔人士及其他弱勢社群

的慈善機構；提供優質及專業的一站式社會服務，推動他們積極投入和參與香港的建設，促進社區參與、推動

社會共融、創建平等關愛的社會。

New Home Association (NHA) was founded in June 2010 and now provides a comprehensive range of services in Hong Kong and the Mainland. We are a non-governmental and charitable organisation dedicated to providing one-stop professional social services for new arrivals from the Mainland, ethnic minorities, and the disadvantaged in Hong Kong. We aim at enabling them to develop their full potential and to serve the community. We are also committed to promoting community participation, social inclusion, and to building an equal and caring society.

Since its inception in 2010, New Home Association (NHA) has been striving hard in social services, youth development, charitable poverty alleviation, and work in other areas to benefit more new arrivals, ethnic minorities and other disadvantaged groups. With “Working together to create a better future” as its theme, this year’s Annual Report summarises the achievements of NHA in the three main service areas through co-operation with various parties over the past year which was under a complex and ever-changing global environment. Our work has promoted the active integration into Hong Kong among our service recipients as well as their contributions towards the betterment of Hong Kong for a better tomorrow together.

NHA has been paying efforts for the improvement of social services in Hong Kong as well. At present, NHA has 14 service points throughout the territory to provide support to service recipients. This year, we are very pleased that the Hong Kong Island Service Centre continues to serve new arrivals, ethnic minorities and other disadvantaged groups in the district with a fresh look. The Centre has been renamed to “New Home Association Jockey Club Hong Kong East Service Centre”, which was officially opened on September 8, 2018. Guests and residents attended the opening ceremony to share the joy of the opening of the new Centre.

China is now at a stage of rapid development, bringing unlimited opportunities to Hong Kong youth. To help young people in Hong Kong better integrate into the overall development of the country, “We Are Family” Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme, one of NHA’s signature programmes, took 2,000 Hong Kong youths from all walks of life to Shaanxi, Tianjin and the Greater Bay Area for an experiential exchange that allowed them to understand China’s profound culture and history as well as to understand China’s latest developments, and explore huge opportunities.

“The Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” was officially promulgated in 2019 and it attracts many young people from Hong Kong and Macao to pursue development in the Mainland. To this end, NHA and the Guangdong Youth Federation jointly launched the “Greater Bay Area Youth Home” project in the Greater Bay Area and a launching ceremony was held on January 19, 2019. The project provides life-wide and through-train services in Hong Kong, Macao and the Mainland by utilising the strengths of existing professional teams in these areas, integrating local government departments, social organisations and business sectors. The project provides services for the youth of Hong Kong and Macao seeking prospective opportunities at Greater Bay Area, assisting them in solving problems in study, career, business start-ups and residence. Support will also be provided to their families in Hong Kong and Macao so that they can focus on pursuing development opportunities in a carefree way.

The disparity between the rich and the poor in Hong Kong is worsening. NHA has been doing its utmost to help the poor. In 2017, the charity project “We Care Card” (“We Card” for short) was launched to promote collaboration between the government, businesses and community to relieve the pressure of making ends meet for grassroots citizens. In this year, the number of “We Card” members exceeded 20,000, showing an increase of more than 60% from the previous year. It is clear that “We Card” has gradually gained recognition from service recipients and its social influence is increasing.

This year, NHA and Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited has jointly organised a one-year We Card “Love Reading Family” Charity Programme, which aims to promote “donation, sharing and environmental protection” through the recycling and charity sale of second-hand books. At the launching ceremony, Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited donated book cash vouchers and books that were worth a total of HK$600,000, which NHA would give out to the current members of “We Card” in stages. It is estimated that 6,000 grassroots families will be benefitted.

NHA has been working hard for nearly a decade to serve the community, and the results are obvious to all. We should give thanks to every one of you for your support and cooperation. I sincerely hope that I can work side by side with the presidents, members, colleagues and friends from all sides, and face challenges together with our service recipients and make more contributions to the future of Hong Kong.

新家園協會自2010年成立以來，一直不遺餘力投入社會服務、青年發展及慈善

扶貧等工作，讓更多新來港、少數族裔人士及其他弱勢社群受惠。今年年報以「

勠力同心·共創未來」為主題，總結了過去一年，本協會在複雜多變的全球環境

下，與社會各界攜手合作在三大服務領域所取得的成果，推動服務受眾積極融入

及建設香港，共創美好明天。

本協會一直致力於提高香港的社會服務。目前，本協會設有14個服務點，遍布

全港各區，為廣大服務受眾提供支援。本年度，我們非常高興香港島服務處以全

新面貌繼續服務當區新來港、少數族裔人士及其他弱勢社群。香港島服務處更名

為「新家園協會賽馬會港島東服務中心」，於2018年9月8日正式開幕，並幸獲

一眾嘉賓及街坊蒞臨開幕禮，共同分享新中心啟用之喜悅。

中國正處於高速發展階段，為香港青年的發展帶來無限機遇。為助香港青年儘早

融入國家發展大局，本協會的品牌項目之一「四海一家」青年交流活動於本年度

組織2,000名香港各界青年往陝西、天津及粵港澳大灣區作體驗式交流，認識國

家博大精深的歷史文化，了解國家一日千里的發展形勢，探索龐大的機遇。

《粵港澳大灣區發展規劃綱要》2019年正式出台，吸引不少港澳青年到內地發

展。為此，本協會與廣東省青年聯合會在粵港澳大灣區開創「大灣區青年家園」

項目，並於2019年1月19日舉行揭牌儀式。此項目提供「香港澳門內地全方位

一條龍服務」，善用港澳與內地現有的專業團隊，整合當地不同政府部門、社會

組織和商界等資源優勢，為有志在粵港澳大灣區尋求發展的港澳青年提供適切服

務，協助他們解決求學、就業、創業及定居方面的問題，同時為他們在港澳的家

人提供支援，讓他們可以專注在內地發展，無後顧之憂。

香港貧富懸殊的情況日益加劇，本協會一直在扶貧方面克盡己力，並於2017年

推出公益項目「關愛家園咭」（下稱「關愛咭」），推動官、商、民合作，舒緩

基層市民的生活壓力。本年度，關愛咭會員人數突破20,000人，較上年度增長

超過六成，足見關愛咭已逐漸獲得服務使用者認可，社會影響力與日俱增。

今年，本協會與聯合出版（集團）有限公司合辦為期一年的「關愛咭『喜閱家

園』慈善計劃」，透過舊書回收及義賣，傳遞「捐贈、分享、環保」的理念。

在啟動禮上，聯合出版（集團）有限公司捐贈總值60萬港元現金書券及書籍，

由本協會分階段轉贈予「關愛咭」現有會員，預計有6,000個基層家庭受惠。

本協會默默耕耘近十載，服務社群，成績有目共睹，實在感謝社會各界的大力支

持及合作。本人衷心希望能與本協會會長、成員、同事及各方友好並肩，與服務

受眾共同面對挑戰，為香港的未來作出更多貢獻。

The 2018 “We Are Family” Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme Flag Presentation Ceremony was successfully held in the afternoon on July 7, 2018 in the Hall of Man Kiu College. Mr. HUI Wing-mau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NHA served as the Delegation Leader of the 2018 “We Are Family” Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme (“Delegation Leader” for short). The Deputy Delegation Leaders included Dr. LI Sze-lim, Chairman of the NHA Supervisory Board; Presidents Ms. CHEUNG Yan and Ms. LIN Jun-bo, as well as Vice Presidents Dr. YEUNG Sau-shing, Ms. MAN Lai-hung, Mr. HUANG Wei and Mr. KONG Jian-min. Mrs. LAM CHENG Yuet-ngor, Chief Executive of HKSAR, said in her speech that the HKSAR Government is very supportive of activities, such as, “We Are Family” that arranges for exchanges for the young people of Hong Kong to the Mainland because this will enhance their understanding of the latest developments and opportunities in the Mainland, promote youth exchanges between the two regions, and cultivate the national concept in the young people of Hong Kong.

Mr. HUI Wing-mau, Delegation Leader and Chairman of the Board of Directors of NHA, expressed in his speech his wish for the young people of Hong Kong to seize the great opportunity of China’s rapid development to create a better future, serve our country and Hong Kong and fulfill the Hong Kong dream and Chinese dream.

NHA is commissioned by Labour and Welfare Bureau to operate the 6th Batch Child Development Fund projects in Sham Shui Po district, Kowloon City and Yau Tsim Mong district, Tai Po and North district. The projects aim to newly-arrived, ethnic minority and disadvantaged children to plan for their future under the guidance of mentors, develop a savings habit, and achieve their personal goals.

The mentees set a monthly savings target of HK$200 over a two-year period. Corporate and individual donors contribute to a 1:1 matching fund for the savings. NHA is glad to have Agricultural Bank of China Hong Kong Branch to support the matching fund for the projects. On August 25, 2018, Agricultural Bank of China Hong Kong Branch and NHA organised the “Child Development Fund” Project Donation Ceremony at the Agricultural Bank of China Hong Kong Branch. Agricultural Bank of China Hong Kong Branch donated HK$200,000 to support the mentees in fulfilling their dreams. The mentees, their parents and mentors attended the ceremony and the mentees and mentors shared their insight and experience gained from the project, as well as expressed their gratitude to Agricultural Bank of China Hong Kong Branch.

本協會獲勞工及福利局委託營辦第六批兒童發展基金項目，分別於深水埗區、九龍城及油尖旺區、大埔及北區推行計劃，透

過友師指導、儲蓄計劃及實踐個人發展計劃，協助新來港、少數族裔及低收入家庭的學童訂立發展目標，自我增值，為將來發

展作好準備。

學員訂下每月儲蓄港幣200元的目標，為期兩年。營辦機構透過企業及私人捐助，為每名成功完成儲蓄的學員提供一比一的

配對捐款。本協會十分榮幸獲中國農業銀行（下稱「農行」）香港分行支持本計劃，提供配對捐款。

2018年8月25日，中國農業銀行香港分行「兒童發展基金」捐助儀式假農行香港分行舉行。農行香港分行捐助港幣20萬元

正以支持「兒童發展基金計劃」的學員成就夢想。一眾學員、家長及友師出席典禮。學員及友師分享了參與計劃的得著與發

New Home Association Jockey Club Hong Kong East Service Centre Opening Ceremony

NHA Hong Kong Island Service Centre has always been committed to providing suitable services to members from Hong Kong Island. In late 2017, NHA successfully applied for a venue from the Housing Department a site in Yiu Tung Estate as a service point and received donation from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust for the renovation works and equipment purchase. It was named “New Home Association Jockey Club Hong Kong East Service Centre” and began operation in April 2018, aiming to provide better services to new arrivals, ethnic minori-ties and other disadvantaged groups on Hong Kong Island. The Opening Ceremony was held on September 8, 2018 to share the joy of the opening of the new Centre with the community and to let the public better understand the services the Service Centre provides, at the same time expressing gratitude towards society at large and the general public for their support.

The officiating guests performed the opening ceremony and visited the facilities of the Centre. There were also game booths and perfor-mances on the day, attracting almost 200 participants and creating a lively scene.

2017年底成功申請房屋署耀東邨場所作為服務點，並獲得香港賽馬會慈

善信託基金捐助進行裝修工程及購置設備，命名為「新家園協會賽馬會

港島東服務中心」，已於2018年4月投入服務，為港島區之新來港、少

數族裔人士及其他弱勢社群提供更優質的服務。2018年9月8日在該中

心舉行了開幕典禮，分享新中心啟用之喜悅，讓社會大眾更了解中心服

務，同時感謝社會各界和廣大會員的支持。

The first phase of activities took place in the summer holiday of 2018. 21 students from S1 to S3 took part in the experiential work, and 6 companies and 2 non-profit organisations provided internship opportunities for the students including HFT Investment Management (HK) Limited, Chi Wah Insurance Consultants Ltd., Wah Hoi Engineers Limited, Lim Por Yen Centre, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, NHA Kowloon West Service Centre and Hotel ICON. The training workshops helped students in understanding the workplace situation. Some students became more enthusiastic in taking the initiative during the work experience, and maintained close communication with employees of the company.

2018年暑假舉行了第一期活動，安排21位中一至中三學

生進行體驗工作，有六間公司及兩間非牟利機構為學生提

供實習機會，包括海富通資產管理(香港)有限公司、志華

保險顧問有限公司、華凱顧問公司、林百欣中心、德勤會

計師事務所、新家園協會九龍西服務處及唯港薈。培訓工

作坊有助學生了解職場情況，部分學生在工作體驗過程中

變得更主動，與實習公司的職員有緊密的溝通。

手扶弱基金」新家園扶輪陽光孩子成長路小腳板‧看

世界體驗工作坊。計劃希望透過學童參與體驗培訓工

作坊及機構實習，親身體驗社會實況，讓他們學懂設

身處地了解父母在外工作的壓力和辛勞，藉此培養學

童對家人的愛和關心。

「攜手扶弱基金」新家園扶輪陽光孩子成長路小腳板·看世界體驗工作分享會

Funded by the Social Welfare Department’s “Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged” and the Rotary Club of Kowloon West, the NHA Kowloon West Service Centre and Rotary Club of Mandarin HK jointly organised the Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged NHA Rotary Sunshine in Future Working Experiences Explore the World Experiential Work Sharing Session. Through participation in the experience training workshops and institutional internships, the project enables children to experience the social reality personally. The project is intended to help children learn to understand the pressure and labour of their parents working outside , thus cultivating love and care for their family members.

辦至今，共有767人受惠。此計劃由中銀香港捐出再生

電腦，並透過本協會捐贈給有需要的家庭，幫助受惠學

童在互聯網學習，增長學術知識，也幫助受惠長者學習

電腦知識，實踐活齡社會，同時向社會推廣「環保」及

「珍惜資源」的理念，宣揚「關愛·分享」訊息。

第二屆「中銀香港新家園電腦捐贈計劃」啟動禮於

2018年10月13日假聖道弘爵國際學校舉辦，民政事務

局副局長陳積志先生、中聯辦社會工作部副巡視員彭建

新先生、立法會議員蔣麗芸女士、新家園協會副會長黃

煥明先生、中國銀行(香港)資訊科技部副總經理莊一葦

先生、青年IT網絡會長唐鈞豪先生等出席主禮。當日有

超過300名受惠人士出席儀式，並由本協會與中銀香港

聯同支持機構「青年IT網絡」派出的義工隊伍，提供免

費電腦教學和設置互動攤位。

Sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (“BOCHK” for short), the “BOCHK x NHA Computer Donation Programme” has benefitted a total of 767 people since its inception in 2016. Recycled computers donated by BOCHK are distributed to the disadvantaged families, providing the young and old recipients with a chance to learn how to use a computer to acquire knowledge. Meanwhile, NHA also promotes the concept of “Protecting the Environment” and “Cherishing Resources” and delivers the message of “Care and Share” to the society.

The Launching Ceremony of the second year of the “BOCHK x NHA Computer Donation Programme” was held on October 13, 2018 at Saint Too Sear Rogers International School. Mr. CHAN Jick-chi, Under Secretary for Home Affairs Bureau; Mr. PENG Jian-xin, Deputy Inspector of the Social Work Department of LOCPG; Ms. CHIANG Lai-wan, Member of the Legislative Council; Mr. WONG Wun-ming, Vice President of NHA; Mr. Victor CHONG, Deputy General Manager of Information Technology, BOCHK; and Mr. TONG Kwan-ho, Chairman of the Youth I.T. Network, attended the ceremony. More than 300 beneficiaries attended the ceremony, where free computer instruction and interactive booths were provided by the volunteer team sent by NHA, BOCHK, as well as supporting organisation “Youth I.T. Network”.

In his speech, Mr. WONG Wun-ming, Vice President of NHA, said that the launching ceremony was titled “passing on the torch” because of the hope that beneficiaries can promote the programme to families in need and that more people can be benefitted from the programme to achieve a spirit of mutual help and love for a harmonious society.

Mr. Victor CHONG, Deputy General Manager of Information Technology, BOCHK, said in his speech that he was glad to work with NHA again to help new arrivals, ethnic minorities and other grassroots families learn to use the computer, making their learning, communication and life in general easier and enabling them to keep up with the times.

火相傳」為主題，希望受惠者能夠將計劃推廣到其身邊有

新家園協會與聯合出版（集團）有限公司（下稱「聯合

出版」）合辦「關愛咭『喜閱家園』慈善計劃」，由

2018年9月19日正式啟動並推行一年。項目向貧窮線以

下的家庭及學生捐贈書券及書籍，以鼓勵參加者透過閱

讀增長知識，培育香港的閱讀氣氛。

「關愛咭『喜閱家園』慈善計劃」啟動禮於2018年12

月11日假尖沙咀商務印書館門店舉行，旨在推動閱讀，

呈現「捐贈、分享、環保」的理念。同場舉行書券與圖

書捐贈儀式，並公布舊書回收詳情及預告義賣活動。

New Home Association and Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited (“Sino United Publishing” for short) jointly organised the We Card “Love Reading Family” Charity Programme, which officially started on September 19, 2018 and ran for one year. In this programme, book vouchers and books are donated to families and students living below the poverty line to encourage recipients to enhance their knowledge through reading, and promote reading in Hong Kong in general.

The Launching Ceremony of the We Card “Love Reading Family” Charity Programme was held on December 11, 2018 at the Tsim Sha Tsui branch of Commercial Press. The Programme aims to promote reading and present the concept of “donation, sharing and environmental protection”. During the event, a ceremony was held to mark the donation of book vouchers and books. Details of the used book collection drive and a charity book sale were announced.

關愛咭「喜閱家園」慈善計劃 We Card “Love Reading Family” Charity Programme

Sino United Publishing donated book vouchers and books worth HK$600,000 in total to NHA and existing members of the “We Card” will receive the vouchers and books from NHA in stages. It is estimated that 6,000 grassroots families will be benefitted. In mid to late December 2018, a used book collection and charity sale took place in six designated shops of Sino United Publishing spanning over five districts in Hong Kong. A total of about 400 boxes and more than 10,000 books were donated. After deducting administrative expenses, all proceeds of the charity sale will be used to help grassroots families purchase books as a way to show our care to them.

In addition, NHA and Chung Hwa Book Company jointly held a “Family Storytelling Session” on October 18, 2018 with 30 “We Card” members. Their relatives and friends were invited to experience the joy of reading. The sharing session had a Q & A part. Parents and children actively participated and communicated with each other. The event has cultivated children’s character, enhanced their reading ability, and promoted parent-child relationship.

聯合出版向本協會捐贈總值60萬港元現金書券及書籍，由

本協會分階段轉贈予「關愛咭」現有會員，預計有6,000

個基層家庭受惠。本計劃於2018年12月中下旬，在全港

五區聯合出版旗下指定的六間門市開展舊書回收及義賣活

動，一共收到約400箱、超過10,000本圖書捐贈。義賣活

動的收益扣除行政費用後，全數善款用於協助基層家庭購

買書籍之用，為坊眾「書」送關懷。

除此以外，本協會聯同中華書局於2018年10月18日舉辦

「親子講故事分享會」，邀請30名「關愛咭」會員及其親

友享受閱讀的樂趣。分享會設有問答環節，家長與孩子積

極參與，互相交流，既培養孩子的品格、提升他們的閱讀

能力，更促進親子關係。

讀者挑選心儀書籍，讓舊書可得有緣人青睞，減少浪費，更可帶來收益作慈善用途。Readers chose their favourite books, so that old books can be read again by new readers, reducing waste and bringing proceeds for charity purposes.

由新家園協會主辦，民政事務總署贊助的「2019新來

港人士服務嘉年華暨大使義工嘉許禮」於2019年3月23

日假紅磡置富都會舉行。作為「2018-2019新來港大使

計劃」的壓軸活動，吸引約700人次到場參與，共享喜

樂。活動嘉許了70位表現傑出的關懷大使和義工，並邀

請義工代表分享助人自助的動人故事，為本年度新來港

大使計劃起了總結作用。嘉許禮以嘉年華形式舉行，活

動豐富多彩。場內設置多個遊戲攤位，更備有不同的表

演節目。現場亦派發年度活動小冊子，藉此宣揚關愛共

融的精神。

Hosted by NHA and sponsored by the Home Affairs Department, the “2019 New Arrivals Service Carnival cum Ambassadors and Volunteers Commendation Ceremony” was held at Fortune Metropolis, Hung Hom on March 23, 2019. As the grand finale of the “2018-2019 Ambassador Scheme for New Arrivals from the Mainland”, the carnival cum commendation ceremony attracted the attendance of about 700 participants to share the joy. 70 outstanding caring ambassadors and volunteers received certificates of appreciation. Volunteer representatives were invited to share moving stories of mutual help, wrapping up this year’s Ambassador Scheme for New Arrivals from the Mainland. The ceremony was held in the form of a carnival with a variety of activities. There were multiple game booths and performances. Leaflets about the events in the year were distributed at the venue to promote the spirit of mutual love, care and inclusiveness.

本協會致力提供多元及適切的支援，協助新來港人士和少數族裔人士在港就學、就業以及早日適應香

港生活及融入社會，並鼓勵他們發揮所長，成為香港發展的新動力。此外，本協會亦通過各項扶貧助

NHA is committed to providing diversified and responsive support to new arrivals and ethnic minorities on their education, employment, adaptation to Hong Kong’s life style and integration into local society. We encourage them to leverage their strengths and forge the new impetus for Hong Kong’s development. In addition, NHA launches various poverty alleviation projects to meet the needs of target people so as to achieve the goal of mutual support and harmony in society.

本協會轄下全港五區的服務處均會開辦不同的語言課程，藉以提升新來港人士的語言能力。課程會

按使用者需要而開設不同類型的班組，包括兒童英語班、兒童英語唱遊班、成人英語和廣東話班等

，旨在幫助新來港人士早日適應香港生活，為他們投身職場作好準備，增強自信心。

各服務處亦經常籌辦社區探索活動及社區資源講座，鼓勵新來港人士善用社區資源來解決問題和滿足需

求。同時，服務處亦經常舉辦不同的興趣班，如舞蹈班、繪畫班、書法班等，以鞏固會員關係；又會在

不同地區舉辦嘉年華，邀請社區居民一起參與，促進社會共融。

港島東服務中心承辦聖公會李福慶中學「新來港學童校本支援小組計劃」，為參加計劃的新來港

學童提供支援服務，包括英文學習小組、廣東話課程，以及「認識香港適應遊」。除了提升語言

水平，助其跟上學習進度外，計劃也致力協助新來港學生適應及融入社會，故舉辦「認識香港適

應遊」帶領同學們探索香港文化特色。

有見於內地與香港的教育模式和內容差異較大，天水圍服務中心投入較多資源為新來港學童提供

教育支援服務。針對新來港幼兒家庭，中心開設一系列學前班，務求讓他們在入學前有充分準備

。至於就讀小學的新來港學童，中心則開辦英文班和功課輔導班，提供課餘支援。

此外，中心亦有提供廣東話培訓班、入校活動、社區資源探索和個案諮詢等服務予新來港青少年，助其

解決適應問題。

適應服務

NHA’s 5 Service Centres in Hong Kong offer a series of language courses in order to improve the language ability of new arrivals. The courses include English class for kids, English singing class for kids, adult English class and Cantonese class, etc. These classes are designed to help new arrivals well integrate into the community and workplace, and to boost their self-confidence.

Arranging lectures and community exploration activities to members, NHA hopes they could learn how to use community resources for solving problems. Meanwhile, Service Centres launch a variety of interest classes, such as, dancing classes, painting classes, calligraphy classes, etc. to foster better relations between members. In addition, carnivals which connect the new arrivals with local residents and promote social inclusion are held each year in different areas.

Hong Kong East Service Centre provides S.K.H. Li Fook Hing Secondary School with “School-based Support Group for New Arrival Students Project”, which provides support services for participating students who have newly arrived in Hong Kong, including English learning groups, Cantonese courses and a learning tour around Hong Kong to familiarise themselves with Hong Kong. Apart from improving their language proficiencies and helping them with their learning progress, the Project also helps new arrival students to adapt to and be included in the society. A learning tour around Hong Kong was therefore held to help students learn about the characteristics of the Hong Kong culture.

In view of the rather significant differences in education models and content between the Mainland and Hong Kong, Tin Shui Wai Service Centre has invested relatively more resources to provide education support services to new arrival children. For new arrival families with kids, the Centre offers a series of pre-school classes to fully prepare them for schooling beforehand. As for the new arrival children attending primary schools, the Centre provides English classes and homework remedial classes to provide after-school support.

The Centre also provides Cantonese training classes, on-campus activities, exploration of community resources and case enquiries for new arrival adolescents to help them with problems on adaptation.

Integration Service

承蒙「攜手扶弱基金」贊助，天水圍服務中心為區內會員提供課餘托管服務，照顧有需要的學童，並提供功課指導。Sponsored by the “Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged”, Tin Shui Wai Service Centre provides members living in the district with after-school care services for their children as well as homework guidance.

港島東服務中心舉辦本年度「認識香港適應遊」，帶領同學到訪大嶼山，探索香港文化特色。In this year’s learning tour about Hong Kong, Hong Kong East Service Centre took students to Lantau Island to explore the characteristics of the Hong Kong culture.

為了協助新來港家庭定居後能共同適應新生活，服

務處經常舉辦家庭效能提升小組和活動，例如子女

管教小組、多元智能小組，親子平行小組及義工活

動等，另外也舉辦親子園藝班及親子畫畫班組等，

通過共同完成任務等方式，促進親子間的有效溝通

和情感交流，增強家庭凝聚力，共同適應新生活。

港島東服務中心在本年度舉辦了兩次地板冰壺體驗同樂

日，活動旨在推廣運動的益處，增強親子關係。同樂日

報名反應踴躍，參加者反映通過這項活動，能夠增加與

家人的溝通，拉近了關係，有助提升家庭效能，並希望

中心多舉辦類似活動。

為提升新來港家長培養孩子品行、親子溝通和夫妻相處

的技巧，以促進家庭效能，九龍東服務處舉辦不同主題

的家長講座及退修營，包括家庭凝聚工作坊、NLP親子

溝通秘笈及家庭凝聚退修營等，建立良好親子關係。

九龍西服務處舉辦「離島樂悠遊」，讓參加者在輕鬆自

由的環境下，帶出家人之間的相處之道。活動通過親子

遊戲，增進家庭成員間之互動，並鼓勵在生活中多加應

用，以保持家庭成員的緊密關係，促進家庭和諧。

家庭效能提升服務

In order to assist new arrivals in adapting to the life in Hong Kong after their settlement, activities are regularly organised to enhance the family role in the integrating process, such as, parental groups, multi-intelligence groups, parent-child parallel groups, volunteering activities, parent-child gardening classes and parent-child painting classes. All these activities involve the interaction between parents and children. Therefore, it will enhance the cohesiveness of the family, smoothen and accelerate the integration process.

Hong Kong East Service Centre hosted two times of floor curling fun days this year to promote the benefits of sports, and enhance parent-child relationship. The activity received enthusiastic registration. The participants reported that this activity enhanced the communication with their families, formed closer bonds and helped improve family effectiveness. They hoped that the Centre would organise similar activities more often in future.

To enhance new arrival parents’ skills of developing children’s character, parent-child communication as well as spousal relationship for better family effectiveness, Kowloon East Service Centre has organised parent-teaching seminars on different topics, and retreat camps, including family cohesion workshops, NLP parent-child communication tips and retreat camps for the participants to establish a good parent-child relationship.

Kowloon West Service Centre has organised a day trip to outlying islands in Hong Kong, allowing participants to get along with their families in a relaxing environment. Through parent-child games, the event promoted interaction among family members, and encouraged them to interact more in daily life to maintain close relationship and promote family harmony.

Family Support Service

為了鼓勵新來港人士投入職場，服務處提供就業培

訓服務和職位招聘資訊、舉辦就業諮詢服務和就業

講座及工作坊等，旨在提升新來港人士應徵工作時

的信心。服務處還與職業培訓機構合作，舉辦就業

體驗日、招聘會等活動，協助新來港人士盡快了解

本地就業市場，以便尋找合適的工作。

港島東服務中心提供不同的就業培訓服務，其中最受歡

迎的是職場妝容工作坊。該活動邀請專業化妝師向新來

港婦女教授護膚心得及職場化妝技巧，旨在提升她們的

自信，增加獲聘機會。

香港就業市場競爭日益激烈，九龍東服務處為新來港婦

女舉辦「職業英文工作坊」、「就業工作坊」及「就業

體驗日」，加深她們對各行各業的認識，協助她們自我

增值、增強自信，迎接就業挑戰。

九龍西服務處舉辦「活出『姿』識」活動，為待業的新

來港人士介紹本港就業市場的資訊並傳授求職技巧，為

他們就業需要作好準備。透過趣味活動，讓參加者發掘

自身優點和建立自信，助參加者充分裝備自己，使他們

在職場上更得心應手，融入社會。

天水圍服務中心除設置「就業資訊角」讓新來港人士了

解本地就業市場，更邀請商界團體、培訓機構等舉辦就

業培訓工作坊，介紹各行業的特點和資歷要求。中心更

針對新來港人士的需要，提供就業支援服務，包括撰寫

履歷、面試等培訓，以及安排參觀就業資源中心或行業

實地考察等活動，助他們投身職場。

就業培訓服務

Service Centres offer employment training and job vacancy information to new arrivals to encourage them to explore work opportunities. Career consultations and employment lectures as well as workshops are regularly held to make new arrivals informed of the labour market and boost their confidence. Service Centres also cooperate with vocational training institutions to hold job fairs from time to time, helping new arrivals find the suitable jobs.

Hong Kong East Service Centre offers a range of employment training services, the most popular of which is the Workplace Makeup Workshop. The event invites professional makeup artists to teach skin care tips and workplace makeup skills to new arrival ladies to enhance their self-confidence and increase their chances of being hired.

In the face of increasing competition in the Hong Kong job market, Kowloon East Service Centre has organised “Workplace English Workshops”, “Employment Workshops” and “Employment Experience Days” for new arrival women to deepen their understanding of various industries, help them add value for themselves, and enhance self-confidence and meet employment challenges.

Kowloon West Service Centre has organised activities for new arrival women to give them information about the local job market and to teach them job-seeking skills to prepare for employment. Through fun activities, it allowed participants to discover their own strengths and build self-confidence, enabling them to fully equip themselves so that they can feel more at ease in the workplace and integrate into society quickly.

Apart from setting up an “Employment Information Corner” to allow new arrivals to understand the local job market, Tin Shui Wai Service Centre has also invited businesses and training institutes to organise employment training workshops to introduce the characteristics and qualification requirements of various industries. The Centre has also provided employment support services that specially target the needs of new arrivals, including writing resumes, interview skills, as well as arranging visits to employment resource centres or industry field trips to help them join the workforce.

Employment and Training Service地板冰壺體驗同樂日旨在透過新興運動來推廣運動的益處，增強親子關係。The floor curling fun days aimed at promoting the benefits of having physical exercises and strengthening parent-child relationship through a new sport. 「離島樂悠遊」讓參加者在輕鬆自由的環境下，學習家人之間的相處之道。

本協會在不同地區建立了不同模式的義工小組，以

義工服務的方式組織新來港人士，發揮他們服務社

群的潛能。

承蒙北區區議會贊助，由本協會主辦、北區新來港

人士服務工作小組合辦的「同聚北區創未來之展望

新家園」順利推行。此項目組織了義工技巧培訓小

組，在區內提供長者探訪服務。項目著重發展新來

港人士義工團隊，由專人講解義務工作的背景和目

的，傳授義工服務技巧，並給予參加者實踐機會，

應用探訪技巧，提高義工們參與社區事務的動力，

培養他們養成參與義務工作的習慣，發揮助人自助

精神，促進社區共融。

「螢火義工隊」是天水圍服務中心一群新來港及本

地婦女會員自發成立的一支社區義工隊。義工隊定

期舉辦內部培訓，訓練婦女成為專業義工，參與社

區服務，促進社區共融。例如開展「每月一煮」、

「家園廚房」及「愛心飯盒計劃」等活動，服務區

內獨居長者。

九龍西服務處組織青少年義工隊「Teens作之合」，為

參加的青少年提供義工培訓，包括團體合作訓練、歷

奇訓練、社會時事討論和外出義工服務。

此外，港島東服務中心舉辦了「耆樂賀新年義工活

動」，組織新來港家庭義工與區內長者同賀新春，

通過遊戲和交流互動環節，讓參加長者進一步了解

新來港人士，推動新來港家庭融入社會，同時亦提

升新來港兒童的自信心及溝通能力。

義工培訓及發展服務

NHA has set up various modes of volunteer teams in different districts to involve new arrivals in volunteer activities and use their potential to serve the community.

Sponsored by the North District Council, organised by NHA and co-organised by North District Working Group on New Arrival Services, a volunteer training project was successfully implemented. This project organised a volunteer skill training team to provide visits to the elderly in the district. The project also put emphasis on the development of a team of volunteers which was composed of new arrivals. Dedicated personnel explained the background and purpose of the volunteer work, taught volunteer service skills, and gave participants practical opportunities to apply the visit techniques, which would enhance the motivation of volunteers to participate in community affairs, and develop in them a habit of taking part of voluntary work. The aim is to let them live out the spirit of mutual help and promote community integration.

The “Firefly Volunteer Team” is a community volunteer team initiated by a group of new arrival and local female members of Tin Shui Wai Service Centre. The volunteer team regularly organises internal training to train the women to become professional volunteers so that they can participate in community services in a bid to promote community integration. Activities such as “Cooking of the Month”, “Home Kitchen” and “Charity Lunch Box Project” were carried out to serve the elderly living alone in the area.

Kowloon West Service Centre has assembled a team of young volunteers to provide volunteer training for participating youths, including group co-operation training, adventure training, discussions on social affairs and outreach volunteer services.

In addition, Hong Kong East Service Centre has organised a volunteer activity that aims to help the elderly celebrate Chinese New Year. The activity assembled new arrival family volunteers and the elderly in the district to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Through games and interactions, the participating senior citizens learnt more about the new arrivals. This activity promoted the integration of new arrival families in Hong Kong and at the same time boosted the self-confidence and communication skills of new arrival children.

螢火義工隊由婦女義工組成，她們會接受義工培訓，由服務接受者轉化為服務提供者。The Firefly Volunteer Team is made up of female volunteers, who receive training on becoming volunteers that help them transform from service recipients to service providers.

我於2018年經朋友介紹成為新家園協會九龍東服務處的會員。當時我正在適應香港的生

活環境，承受著不少壓力，所以情緒變得負面，而且我在香港的社交網絡亦較狹窄。其

後透過參與「新來港大使計劃」的培訓活動，我認識很多相同背景的義工朋友。我平時

會與義工朋友互相分享生活點滴及社區資訊，亦經常支持鼓勵彼此，生活因而變得有色

彩。此外，我透過參與計劃內的家訪活動，體會到有更多的家庭更需要幫助及關懷，令

我感恩自己可以為社會出一分力。

I was introduced by a friend in 2018 to become a member of the New Home Association Kowloon East Service Centre. At that time, I was still adapting to the living environment in Hong Kong and was under a lot of pressure and carried negative emotions. On top of that, I did not have a wide social network. Later, in the training activity of the “Ambassador Scheme for New Arrivals from the Mainland”,I made a lot of friends with the same background who were also volunteers. I usually share bits and pieces about my life and community information with my volunteer friends and we often support and encourage each other, so life has become much more colourful. In addition, by participating in the home visit activities of the Scheme, I realised that many more families need help and care. That makes me grateful that I can contribute a little more to the society.

給我機會去學習和認識社區不同的資訊，利用學到的知

識再去幫助有需要的人。參加義務工作除了幫助到有需

要的人，還可以影響到身邊的親友。只要分配好自己的

時間，參與義務工作，不但不會影響生活，還能給家中

孩子做個好榜樣。

I have been involved in the volunteer work of NHA for five years. I am thankful for NHA for giving me the opportunity to learn and understand different sorts of information about the community and to use the knowledge I have learnt to help those in need. Participating in volunteer work not only helps those in need, but also creates an impact on the relatives and friends around you. As long as you can allocate your time well, taking part in voluntary work will not affect your life; rather it will let you set a good example for your children.

加入新家園協會做義工，不經不覺都有四年多。過去的日子我由一位

家庭主婦變身成參與社區活動的義工，認識了更多朋友和街坊，擴闊

了社交圈子。在合作當中，我們從彼此身上學習熱誠、尊重等美德。

在服務社會的過程中，也學到溝通和聆聽技巧，很感恩在新家園協會

所學到的一切。我會將義工精神深入生活層面，共同建構一個關愛共

融的社會，有機會一定會令更多人認識新家園協會！

It has been more than four years since I joined NHA to volunteering. I have transformed myself from being just a housewife in the past to a volunteer who participates in community activities. I have made more friends with people living nearby. This has broadened my social circle. While working together, we learnt the virtues of passion and respect, etc. In serving the society, I also learnt communication and listening skills, and I am very grateful for everything I have learnt at NHA. I will integrate the spirit of voluntary work into the different levels of my life to build a caring and inclusive society with others. If I have the opportunity, I will definitely let more people know about NHA!

促進少數族裔人士的社區參與，推動社會共融互助

2018-2019年度，本服務推行多項不同的共融義工

服務，推動少數族裔人士的社區參與，促進社區共

融互助。

本服務承辦油尖旺民政事務處「社區重點項目計劃

（油尖旺區） - 社區共融義工隊」計劃，於2018年9

月至2019年1月期間培訓本地及少數族裔人士組成義

工隊，並安排他們在區內進行不同義工服務，如：

探訪獨居長者/有需要家庭/社區中心、提供中文會

話班、兒童託管服務和協助賣旗籌款，以促進雙方

溝通與合作，加強社區聯繫，從而推廣多元文化和

促進社區融和。

此外，HOME Centre (YTM) 與九龍城及油尖旺區福

利辦事處和九龍城浸信會合作「私營安老院親善大

使計劃2018-2019」，組織少數族裔及本地義工探

訪八間區內的私營安老院，為超過600名本地長者送

上關懷。義工們不但教長者製作毛巾玫瑰花，更為

長者帶來寶萊塢舞蹈！

另外，本協會自2019年起，在油尖旺區推行為期三

年的社區鄰舍長者關顧計劃。計劃透過培訓少數族

裔及本地第三齡人士組成健康共融義工隊，並推動

跨界別合作，提供各項健康支援及社區資訊予區內

長者，提升長者對健康關顧的意識，搭建鄰舍關懷

網絡，共建共融和諧社區。

同時，本協會獲民政事務總署資助推行「鄰里互助計

劃」，發揮社區共融互助精神，支援少數族裔及新來

港家庭，在2016年8月至2018年8月推行「『友里

FUN享』深水埗區互助支援計劃2016-18」，成功培

訓過百名少數族裔及新來港人士成為大使及義工，推

行各項社區適應與融入計劃，促進少數族裔、新來港

居民與本地的認識與溝通，強化鄰里互助網絡。自

2019年2月起，本協會推行新計劃「友‧里」同行樂

多FUN （西貢區互助支援計劃) ，以協助區內的少數

族裔、新來港人士融入社區，並促進他們與不同群體

的認識與互助，建立互助共融社區。

本協會自2014年起承辦民政事務總署「少數族裔青年大使計劃（新界區）」，少數族裔青年積極投入外展服務，在區內主動接觸有需要的少數族裔青年，了解需要，同時計劃舉辦不同的活動，促進少數族裔青年早日融入社會。

此外，HOME少數族裔人士支援服務中心與港京扶輪社合辦「少數族裔兒童及青少年運動發展計劃2018-2019」，提供了板球訓練班及曲棍球訓練班，並舉辦了多場友誼賽，有助少數族裔兒童與青少年建立團隊及紀律精神、溝通互信和健康生活模式。

HOME少數族裔人士支援服務中心青少年專組提供不同的活動予少數族裔兒童及青少年，協助他們發展技能，培養興趣，擴闊社交支援網絡。少數族裔青少年透過雜耍興趣班學習了不同的雜耍技藝，例如轉碟、紡絲環、雜耍面板球和空竹，在社區表演及進行義工服務，促進社區共融。HOME少數族裔人士支援服務中心舉辦兒童才藝比賽，讓少數族裔及本地兒童大展才藝，推動共融。此外，一年一度的少數族裔青少年歷奇訓練營，除了團隊建設活動以增強他們的人際溝通合作能力外，更有不同種類的歷奇活動，例如搬運核廢料、灌水管和紮木伐等，以增強他們的解難能力、提高自信。

激發少數族裔青年潛能，促進融入與發展

NHA has been commissioned by Home Affairs Department to operate “Ambassador Scheme for EM Youths (N.T.)” since 2014. EM youth ambassadors actively participated in outreach service to reach out EM youths with service needs, and organised various programmes for facilitating their early social integration.

HOME Centre and Rotary Club of Kingspark Hong Kong co-organised “EM Children & Youths Sports Development Project 2018 - 2019” to provide cricket training and hockey training and organise friendly matches for developing discipline, teamwork spirit, communication, trust and healthy living habit of EM children and youths.

EM Youth Unit of HOME Centre organised different kinds of programmes for EM children and youths to develop skill and interest as well as enhance their social support networks. EM youths actively attended circus class and learnt circus skills including plate spinning, juggling scarf, juggling balls and diabolo. They put much efforts on practice and will have performance and volunteer service for promoting social inclusion. HOME Centre organised Children Talent Competition for both EM and local children to show their talents so as to enhance social cohesion. Moreover, HOME Centre organised EM Youth Adventure Training Overnight Camp and organised team building activities for enhancing their interpersonal skills, as well as various adventure games, such as, Moving Nuclear Waste, Filling Water Pipe and Building Raft for improving their confidence and problem-solving abilities.

Assalam o Alikum. My name is Muhammad Bilal. I live in To Kwa Wan and I joined HOME Centre (SSP) this year since my best friend, Umer introduced me to this Centre. I met many new friends here and really enjoyed spending time here with them. My favourite programme is Football Training as I loved playing football and hope the Centre can organise more matches with other teams. Moreover, Home Centre staff is very helpful and patient as they have organised many programmes for us and are willing to spend time talking with us and have fun together. 本協會致力協助少數族裔人士在港的就學、就業與融入。透過兩間民政事務總署資助的HOME少數族

裔支援服務中心及分中心，促進少數族裔人士適應香港生活。同時，亦積極與不同政府部門、學校、

社福機構、少數族裔組織合作，發展多項創新及適切的服務計劃，協助少數族裔人士在港的適應與發

展，推動社會融和。

本年度服務主題為「促進少數族裔發展潛能，推動社會共融互助」。主要服務計劃回顧如下：

With the service direction of Education, Employment and Integration, NHA is commissioned by Home Affairs Department to establish HOME Support Service Centre for Ethnic Minorities (EMs) in Yau Tsim Mong and a sub-Centre in Sham Shui Po to facilitate ethnic minorities integrating into the community. Also, NHA has worked in partnership with different governmental departments, schools, NGOs and EM organisations to provide innovative and responsive services for promoting social integration and cohesion.

This year, the service theme is “Unleashing potentials of EMs, promoting mutual help and social inclusion”. The review of the services are as follows:

In 2018-2019, we initiated various social harmony volunteer services for promoting social participation of EMs and advocating social cohesion.

We were commissioned by Yau Tsim Mong District Office to launch the Signature Project Scheme (Yau Tsim Mong District)-Volunteer Team from September 2018 to January 2019. The project aimed to train both EM and local volunteers to provide volunteer services in the community, such as, visit to home alone elderly/ needy families/community centre, Cantonese class, child-care activities and flag-selling activities so as to enhance mutual understanding between locals and EMs, strengthen community connection as well as promote multiculturalism and advocate community cohesion.

Besides, HOME Centre (YTM) joined hands with Kowloon City & Yau Tsim Mong District Social Welfare Office and Kowloon City Baptist Church to implement the “Ambassador Scheme for Private Elderly Home Scheme 2018-2019” to organise a team of EM and local volunteers to visit 8 private elderly homes in the district and bring care and love for more than 600 local elders. The volunteers not only taught elders to make towel roses but also presented them a Bollywood dance performance!

Moreover, starting from 2019, NHA is funded by Community Investment & Inclusion Fund to launch a three-year community neighbourhood elderly caring project in Yau Tsim Mong district. By training both ethnic minorities and local third agers in order to form a team of health volunteers as well as motivating cross-sector collaboration, the scheme provides different health-related support and community information to the elderly in the district. It can increase health awareness of the elderly, building neighbourhood mutual help network and inclusive community.

Furthermore, NHA is sponsored by Home Affairs Department to operate “Neighbourhood Mutual Help Programme” for enhancing community cohesion and supporting the social integration of EMs and new arrivals. We have successfully trained more than 100 EMs and newly-arrived ambassadors and volunteers and organised a variety of social integration programmes under “ ‘We Share We Support’ Sham Shui Po District Neighbourhood Mutual Help Programme” from August 2016 to August 2018. Starting from February 2019, we initiated a new programme “ ‘Share & Care’ Sai Kung District Mutual Help Programme” to assist EMs and new arrivals in integrating into local community and enhance mutual understanding and communication among different parties for building a mutual support and inclusive community.

2018「四海一家‧絲路長安」陝港同行青年交流活

動作為2018「四海一家」首團，於2018年8月5日

至10日組織800名香港各界青年前赴陝西西安及延

安，親身體驗長安古都、黃河母親、黃帝之陵、延安

聖地，探尋古絲路，發現新絲路。西安乃古代十三個

朝代之首都，文化底蘊深厚，更是古代絲綢之路的

起點。此團特意安排西安入城儀式、體驗國家級非

物質文化遺產「黃帝陵祭典」、西安城牆健步走、

黃河壺口瀑布致敬母親河、參觀延川梁家河等主題

活動，讓香港青年加強對中華歷史文化的學習體驗

，提升民族自豪感，燃起愛國情操。

2018「四海一家·絲路長安」

2018 “We Are Family––Silk Road and Chang’an” Shaanxi-Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme was the first 2018 “We Are Family” tour. 800 Hong Kong youths toured Xi’an and Yan’an in Shaanxi from August 5 to 10, 2018 to see for themselves the ancient capital of Chang’an, the Yellow River, the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor and the historical site of Yan’an. Participants retraced the ancient Silk Road and the new Silk Road. Xi’an has a profound cultural heritage as it was the capital of thirteen ancient dynasties and it was also the starting point of the ancient Silk Road. This tour specially arranged a ceremony of entering the city of Xi’an and let participants experience some of the entries on the national list of intangible cultural heritage, including the “ Entering the City” Performance, a ritual at the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor, walking around the Xi'An City Circumvallation, the Yellow River Hukou Waterfall that paid tribute to the Mother River, and visited Yanchuan Liangjiahe and other theme activities, to strengthen Hong Kong youths’ learning experience of Chinese history and culture, while also enhancing their national pride and igniting patriotic sentiments.

第二團，於2018年8月18日至22日帶領200名香港各

界青年前往天津進行體驗式交流，參觀天津市規劃展

覽館、空客總裝廠、濱海新區等地，讓團員深入認識

天津市的發展，感受中國豐富的人才資源與日新月異

的科技發展。團長許榮茂先生表示，組織「四海一家」

交流活動意義非凡，可以讓對中國歷史及現況了解不

深的香港青年通過體驗式交流，增加對祖國發展的認

同感。

天津海外聯誼會為交流團舉行歡迎晚會。天津市委常

委、天津海外聯誼會會長冀國強先生、團長許榮茂先

生及中聯辦副主任譚鐵牛先生發表致辭，皆對「四海

一家」項目表示高度讚揚，亦對香港青年寄予厚望，

歡迎及邀請香港青年到天津發展。本協會與天津海外

聯誼會在晚會上互贈紀念品，分別是絲綢彩繪長卷

《津門故里圖》及由本協會少數族裔會員親手製作

的「四海一家」牌匾，紀念兩地深厚友誼。

2018「四海一家·津港同行」

2018 “We Are Family––Tianjin-Hong Kong Together” was the second trip of 2018 “We Are Family” Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme. From August 18 to 22, 2018, 200 Hong Kong youths from all walks of life travelled to Tianjin for an experiential exchange. The tour took them to Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall, the Airbus Tianjin Final Assembly, the Binhai New Area etc., so that they could have a deep understanding of the development of Tianjin, China’s abundant human resources and the ever-changing technological development. Delegation Leader Mr. HUI Wing-mau said that organising the “We Are Family” exchange programme carried an extraordinary meaning because the exchange tours allow Hong Kong youths with little understanding of China’s history and current situation to strengthen their sense of identity with the development of the motherland through experiential exchanges.

A welcoming banquet was organised by Tianjin Overseas Friendship Association to welcome the exchange delegation. Mr. JI Guo-qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPC and Chairman of Tianjin Overseas Friendship Association; Mr. HUI Wing-mau, the Delegation Leader and Mr. TAN Tie-niu, Deputy Director of the LOCPG, delivered their speeches. They all highly praised the “We Are Family” programme and placed high hopes on Hong Kong youths. All three of them welcomed and invited Hong Kong youths to Tianjin to pursue opportunities. During the welcoming banquet, NHA and Tianjin Overseas Friendship Association exchanged souvenirs, which were long scrolls of silk painting of “Tianjin Ancient Cultural Street” and a “We Are Family” plaque made by the ethnic minority members of NHA to commemorate the deep friendship between the two places.

「四海一家」是新家園協會的品牌項目之一。自2015年創立以來，「四海一家」青年交流項目資助超過9,000位香港各界青年分別前

赴北京、上海、廣東、福建、浙江、陝西和天津等地進行體驗式交流。本協會一直致力於發揚四海一家、互相包容、尊重合作的精

神，努力將交流活動打造成為本協會推動全球青少年交流互動的品牌項目。「四海一家」每年進行多項交流活動，凝聚世界各地不

同種族、膚色的人士，共同宣揚同住地球村、彼此友愛互助的理念。

“We Are Family” is one of the signature programmes of NHA. Since 2015, “We Are Family” Hong Kong Youth Exchange Programme has supported more than 9,000 Hong Kong youths for exchange programmes to different places, such as, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Shaanxi and Tianjin. NHA is devoted to developing the spirit of cultural unity, mutual comprehension and respect. It is the hope of NHA to make this programme a signature project for youth communication on a global scale. “We Are Family” carries out a number of activities every year to bring people of different races together so as to promote the concept of living together in the global village and helping each other.

「四海一家」是由前中聯辦主任、現任國務院港澳辦副主任張曉明先生親筆書寫。張曉明先生曾勉勵香港年青人走出世界、擴闊視野，並寄語「四海一家」系列活動取得圓滿成功。

The inscription of “We Are Family” was written by Mr. ZHANG Xiao-ming, former Director of LOCPG and now Deputy Director of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council. Mr. Zhang encourages Hong Kong youth to explore the world and broaden their horizons.He also wishes the “We Are Family” programme a great success.

2018年7月31日，團長許榮茂先生與副團長劉晉嵩先生帶領香港青年代表採集港島太平山、九龍獅子山公園和新界元朗聚星樓的泥土和水，帶到西安與取自黃土高原的泥及黃河的水融合，象徵兩地同根同宗的情誼。On July 31, 2018, Delegation Leader Mr. HUI Wing-mau and Deputy Delegation Leader Mr. LAU Chun-shun took Hong Kong youth representatives to collect the mud and water from Victoria Peak on Hong Kong Island, Lion Rock Park in Kowloon and Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda in Yuen Long, New Territories. The mud and water were brought to Xi’an to be mixed with the soil of the Loess Plateau and the water from the Yellow River to symbolise the fraternity and shared ancestry of the two places.

大明宮遺址公園是以大明宮為原型建造的微縮景觀，吸引不少香港青年合影留念。Daming Palace National Heritage Park features a miniature structure built based on the Daming Palace. It was the backdrop of many group photos that Hong Kong youths took.

香港青年和陝西當地青年共同在黃帝陵種下松樹，象徵著香港是祖國不可分割的一部分。Hong Kong and local youths in Shaanxi planted pine trees together in the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor to symbolise that Hong Kong is an inalienable part of the motherland.

團員參觀天津市規劃展覽館，從人文歷史、改革發展、科技研究等方面深入了解天津市的發展。Visiting the Tianjin Planning Exhibition Hall, the delegation members gained an in-depth understanding of the development of Tianjin from the aspects of human history, reform, and development and scientific research.

To help Hong Kong and Macao youths integrate into the Mainland, NHA and the Guangdong Youth Federation have set up the “Greater Bay Area Youth Home” project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to provide Hong Kong and Macao youths with life-wide, through-train and whole person services in Hong Kong, Macao and the Mainland by utilising the strengths of existing professional teams in these areas, integrating local government departments, social organisations and business sectors. The project provides services for the youth of Hong Kong and Macao seeking opportunities at the Greater Bay Area, assisting them in solving problems in study, career, business start-ups and residence. At the current trial operation stage, more than 20 points in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will jointly establish a cross-regional, cross-city, inter-organisational and multi-disciplinary service network to attract Hong Kong and Macao youths to actively participate in the construction of the Greater Bay Area, adapt to and integrate into life in the Mainland more quickly. The network will also help their families in Hong Kong in solving their daily needs, so that the youths can pursue a future in the Mainland without worries.

The plaque unveiling ceremony of the “Greater Bay Area Youth Home” project was successfully held on January 19, 2019 in the Grand Hall of Jinan University, Guangzhou. Mr. ZHANG Guang-jun, Vice Governor of People’s Government of Guangdong Province; Mr. CHEUNG Kin-chung, Chief Secretary for Administration of HKSAR; Mr. HUI Wing-mau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NHA, and a group of guests attended and hosted the ceremony. Mr. CHEUNG Kin-chung, Chief Secretary for Administration of HKSAR said in his speech that the “Greater Bay Area Youth Home” project would provide professional social services for Hong Kong youths living and starting businesses in the Mainland. The aim is to help them settle in the Greater Bay Area and promote the relocation of more Hong Kong youths to the Greater Bay Area for future development.

“We Are Family––Perceiving the Greater Bay Area” Hong Kong Youth Exchange

Programme was held from January 19 to 20, 2019. The exchange tour took place

just after the completion of “the works project of the century”, i.e. the Hong

Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the opening of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong

Kong Express Rail Link. The tour was composed of 1,000 Hong Kong youths from

different walks of life to experience the convenience of the Express Rail Link and the

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. They were divided to visit five cities in the

Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, including Guangzhou, Zhuhai,

Foshan, Zhongshan and Jiangmen to deepen their understanding about the

Greater Bay Area.

香港特別行政區政務司司長張建宗先生致辭時表示，「大灣區青年家園」促進更多香港青年將來到大灣區發展。In his speech, Mr. CHEUNG Kin-chung, Chief Secretary for Administration of HKSAR, said that the “Greater Bay Area Youth Home” project would facilitate the relocation of more Hong Kong youths to the Greater Bay Area to pursue development.

「大灣區青年家園」Greater Bay AreaYouth Home

為幫助港澳青年融入內地，本協會與廣東省青年聯合會在粵港澳大灣區開設「

大灣區青年家園」，旨在為港澳青年提供「香港澳門內地全方位一條龍全人服

務」，利用港澳及內地現有專業團隊，整合當地不同政府部門、社會組織及商

界等資源優勢，協助有志在粵港澳大灣區發展的港澳青年解決求學、就業、創

業及定居遇到的融入問題。在目前試運行階段，廣東、香港、澳門合共超過20

個點將共同編織跨地域、跨城市、跨機構、跨專業的服務網，吸引港澳青年積

極參與粵港澳大灣區建設，更快適應和融合在內地的生活，同時幫助他們在港

的家人解決生活所需，讓他們可以免除後顧之憂在內地發展。

「大灣區青年家園」揭牌儀式於2019年1月19日假廣州暨南大學大禮堂圓滿舉

行。廣東省政府副省長張光軍先生、香港特別行政區政務司司長張建宗先生、

新家園協會董事局主席許榮茂先生與一眾嘉賓蒞臨及主持儀式。政務司司長張

建宗先生致辭時表示，大灣區青年家園為到內地生活和創業的香港青年提供專

觀活動」，讓一眾基層家庭享受閱讀時光，培養良好的閱讀習慣之餘，促進親子關係。“We Care Card” and Joint Publishing co-organised a “World Book Day – Parent-child Visit Activity” to allow grassroots families to enjoy reading together. The activity not only could foster the good habit of reading, but also could foster parent-child relationship.

中銀香港之相約動感海洋‧共享歡樂時光Visit to Ocean Park sponsored by BOCHK

中銀香港於2018年11月4日在海洋公園舉行大型嘉年華活動：「中銀香港之相約動感海洋‧共享歡樂時光」，邀請了180名「關愛咭」會員參加，任玩機動遊戲，觀看各類劇場表演，體驗哈囉喂全日祭節目，享受家庭樂。BOCHK organised a large-scale carnival event at Ocean Park on November 4, 2018. 180 “We Card” members were invited. On that day, there was no limit to how many times they went on the mechanical rides. They also watched a variety of live performances, experienced the spooky Halloween activities and a full day of relaxing family time.

SUPERPARK活動 SuperPark Activity

「關愛咭」會員體驗SuperPark豐富多彩的遊樂設施，在45,000呎、擁有超過20個遊戲的樂園體驗高科技設施和體能挑戰，讓會員促進親子關係。“We Card” members had the opportunity to experience the dazzling facilities of SuperPark. Experiencing hi-tech facilities and completing physical challenges in the 45,000 square feet venue with more than 20 games gave members a chance to build up parent-child relationship.

「關愛咭」兒童眼檢活動“We Card” Eye Examination for Children本協會聯同睛彩慈善基金、東華三院馬振玉紀念中學合辦兒童眼檢活動。中國建設銀行的義工隊到場協助參加者檢查視力、測試色盲及立體視覺，更有專業眼科醫生為參加者詳細檢查眼睛及提供講座。NHA co-organised an eye examination service for children with Eye Care Charitable Foundation and TWGHs C.Y.Ma Memorial College. A team of volunteers from China Construction Bank helped check participants’ vision, tested for colour blindness and stereopsis. Professional optometrists were also present to conduct detailed eye examinations and seminars.

「關愛咭」會員及義工們非常認真地為家人親手製作「愛心糭」，一同感受節日氣氛。“We Card” members and volunteers spent their undivided attention on hand-making rice dumplings for Tuen Ng Festival for their families with all their love.

「關愛咭」X 食物及衛生局—奶粉轉贈計劃 “We Card” x Food and Health Bureau – Milk Powder Donation「關愛咭」會員收到奶粉後，表示可以減輕家庭的日常負擔，並感謝「關愛咭」贈予他們的溫暖及關愛。“We Card” recipients o f t h e milk powder were happy that the donation lessened their financial burden for daily life. They were thankful to “We Card” for delivering warmth and care to the members.

「關愛家園咭」We Care Card

本協會與香港中國企業協會於2017年6月聯合推出一個創新性的公益項目—「關愛家園咭」（下稱「關愛咭」）。此計劃的主要服務對象為扶貧委員會所界定的貧窮人口，包括合資格長者、低收入人士、殘疾人士、少數族裔人士、新來港人士等，為他們提供衣、食、住、行多方面的慈善優惠，紓緩其生活壓力。

「關愛咭」旨在邀請及推動不同的企業及機構參與，履行其社會責任，亦協助特區政府改善民生，

促進社會各界攜手合作、傳遞關愛。此計劃與香港市民分享經濟發展、社會進步的成果，提升他們

的幸福感。本年度，「關愛咭」每月提供約20個恆常優惠，與超過40間關愛企業及其它機構合作，

透過千多家商舖為超過22,000位會員提供不同的優惠。「關愛咭」於2019年3月更首次與特區政府

食物及衛生局合作，成功申領近2,000罐奶粉，贈予有需要的會員。

除關愛社會及慈善公益理念外，「關愛咭」還提倡環保儉約理念，充分利用資源，減少浪費，珍愛保

護地球。「關愛咭」手機應用程式已於2018年3月上架，讓會員可於應用程式內瀏覽最新的優惠及活

動資訊。

此外，為回應會員對社交及建立人際網絡的需求，「關愛咭」本年度共舉辦超過20個多元化的活動予

會員及其家人，藉此加強他們的支持網絡，讓他們多接觸新事物，擴闊視野。

「關愛家園咭」

In June 2017, NHA and the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association jointly launched an innovative charity project called “We Care Card” (“We Card” for short). The main target of the project is the poor population as defined by the Commission on Poverty, including eligible elderly, low-income individuals, people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, new arrivals, etc. The project aims to provide them with charitable concessions on clothing, food, housing and transportation to ease their living pressure.

Through inviting and fostering the participation of different enterprises and institutions to fulfil their social responsibilities, “We Card” aims at bringing different sectors to work together to deliver care to people, as well as assisting the HKSAR Government in improving people’s livelihood. This project shares the fruits of economic development and social progress with Hong Kong people, and enhances their sense of well-being. This year, “We Card” offers about 20 regular offers every month. Different benefits has been offered to more than 22,000 members through more than 1,000 shops by working with more than 40 caring enterprises and other institutions. In March 2019, We Card had its first partnership with the Food and Health Bureau of the HKSAR Government: nearly 2,000 cans of milk powder were claimed and given to members in need.

In addition to the concepts of caring for society and charity, “We Card” also advocates the concept of protecting the environment, making full use of resources, reducing wastes and cherishing the planet. The “We Card” mobile phone App was launched in March 2018, allowing members to view the latest offers and event information whenever and wherever possible.

In addition, in response to members’ needs for socialising and networking, “We Card” has organised more than 20 diversified activities in total for members and their families this year to strengthen their support network, provide them with access to new things, and broaden their horizons.

本年度進行了5,600次家訪和訪談，協助新來港人士走出家庭、走入社區，更好地認識和運用社區資

源，更快更好地適應和融入香港生活。計劃開展逾百次不同類型的支援活動，共服務逾3,000名新來

港人士，例如於本協會港島東服務中心、九龍東服務處、九龍西服務處、新界東服務處和天水圍服務

中心舉辦社區資訊展覽、社區資源講座、社區資源探索活動、語言課程、就業培訓工作坊和新港人義

工培訓等，協助新來港人士從活動中認識同路人，擴展自己的社交網絡，達至同根互助。

This year, 5,600 home visits and interviews were conducted to help new arrivals step out of their families and get involved in the community. Under the programme, new arrivals enhanced their understanding and utilisation of community resources. Hence, they were able to adapt to the new life in Hong Kong quickly and smoothly. Through over 100 support activities, the programme has offered services to more than 3,000 new arrivals, including exhibitions of community information, talks on community resources, activities on exploring community resources, language courses, employment training workshops and training for new arrival volunteers organised by NHA Hong Kong East Service Centre, Kowloon East Service Centre, Kowloon West Service Centre, New Territories East Service Centre and Tin Shui Wai Service Centre. These support activities help new arrivals identify their companions during the process, so that they can expand their social network and extend mutual help.

新來港大使計劃Ambassador Scheme

新家園協會自2012年在民政事務總署支持下推行「新來港大使計劃」，傳揚「同根互助，一路同行」

精神。計劃旨在培訓新來港人士和本地居民分別擔任關懷大使和關懷義工，探訪新來港家庭，了解新

來港人士的生活狀況，並與新來港人士分享適應香港生活的經驗和介紹社區資源等，協助他們融入社

區，展現對新來港人士的「愛」與「關懷」。

New Home Association has been organising the “Ambassador Scheme for New Arrivals from the Mainland” under the support from the Home Affairs Department since 2012. The programme assigns the new arrivals and local residents to become Caring Ambassadors and Volunteers, who are trained to pay home visits, share their own experiences, and introduce community resources to the new arrivals to help them better integrate into the new life in Hong Kong, carrying forward the spirit of love and care.

This year, around 80 training sessions were held and around 600 ambassadors and volunteers were trained. The training was conducted in various forms, such as, home visit simulation, workshops and service sharing sessions. The training served as a platform for the ambassadors and volunteers to communicate and learn from each other to foster team spirit.

This year, 30 sessions of training for new arrival volunteers were conducted and 133 new arrival volunteers were trained in total. New arrival volunteer training and practical services enhanced interpersonal skills and self-confidence of the new arrivals, allowing them to experience the joy of helping others in volunteering services, and maintain good psychological health, which would accelerate their integration process.

本協會承辦民政事務總署推出的期望管理計劃，為居住

在福建省及廣東省有意赴港定居的人士及其家庭提供相

關資訊、語言培訓課程、支援網絡小組等，有助他們對

赴港定居前做好準備和期望管理。此外，本協會亦舉辦

社區教育及適應活動，讓他們在日後赴港定居後更好地

期望管理計劃 NHA has undertaken the “Expectation Management Scheme” launched by

the Home Affairs Department, aiming to provide relevant information, language training courses and support network groups for the prospective settlers from Fujian and Guangdong, for them to understand the situation of education, employment, lifestyle and residences in Hong Kong. In doing so, the prospective settlers will get prepared before coming to Hong Kong for settlement. Moreover, NHA also organises community education and adaptation activities for new arrivals so as to help them integrate into the community after their settlement in Hong Kong.

本協會於2014年9月推出「世茂新家園精英培養計劃」，

此計劃包括「傑出中學生獎」及「傑出大學生獎」，旨

在幫助全港大、中學生，包括本地、新來港及少數族裔

學生建立廣闊社會平台、激勵他們在獲得優異成續的同

時，關心並服務社群，推動社會共融。

「傑出中學生獎」評選500位傑出中學生，鼓勵成績

優秀及積極參與社會服務的中學生，獲獎者可獲港幣

4,000元。

而「傑出大學生獎」限額10名，每年最高可獲獎學

金港幣2萬元，為期四年。此計劃已於2018/2019年

度圓滿結束，除一位因健康理由休學一學期延遲畢業

，一位繼續學業外，其餘大學生已投身社會工作，當

中不乏專業精英人士，包括醫生及精算師，投身教育

以及從事金融管理等。

世茂新家園精英培養計劃 Launched by NHA in September 2014, the SHIMAO-NHA Leadership

Training Scheme aimed to help university and secondary school students from Hong Kong, including locals, new arrivals and ethnic minorities, establish a wide social platform by offering “Outstanding Secondary School Student Awards” and “Outstanding University Student Awards”. The Scheme encouraged students to care for and serve the community apart from attaining outstanding academic results, thus helping to promote social harmony.

The “Outstanding Secondary School Student Award” was given to secondary school students with outstanding academic results who actively participated in social services. Each of the 500 selected awardees received HK$4,000 as an encouragement.

The “Outstanding University Student Award”, on the other hand, was limited to 10 awardees, each of whom would receive a maximum annual scholarship of HK$20,000 for a duration of four years. This scheme came to a successful conclusion in 2018/2019. Except for one awardee who graduated a semester late because of health reasons, and another one who pursued further studies upon graduation, the rest of the awarded university students have entered the workforce. Among them are professionals, including doctors and actuaries, as well as those who are in the education and financial management sectors.

銀行(香港)的全力支持下推出「中銀香港新家園電腦捐

贈計劃」，此計劃由中銀香港捐出再生電腦，並透過

本協會捐贈給有需要的家庭，幫助受惠學童使用互聯

網學習，增加學術知識；也幫助受惠長者學習電腦知

識，實踐活齡社會。同時向社會推廣「環保」及「珍

惜資源」的理念，宣揚「關愛+分享」訊息。

中銀電腦捐贈計劃 In order to promote inclusion and resources recycling, NHA launched the

“BOCHK x NHA Computer Donation Programme”, sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong). Recycled computers donated by BOCHK are distributed to the disadvantaged families, providing the young and old recipients with a chance to learn how to use a computer to acquire knowledge. Meanwhile, NHA also promotes the concept of “Protecting the Environment” and “Cherishing Resources” and delivers the message of “Care and Share” to the society.

新來港人士「綜合支援及諮詢服務專櫃」。透過全港中

旅社辦證服務中心的平台，專業社工培訓及組織過來人

主動接觸新來港人士、為他們介紹香港的社會資源與服

務，以及即時提供諮詢、支援及轉介服務，藉以協助他

們更好地融入社會。目前，本協會於上環、旺角、屯門

和沙田的中旅社辦證服務中心有定期及固定的綜合支援

及諮詢服務。

NHA has been working with China Travel Service (CTS) since 2011 to set up the “Comprehensive Support and Consultation Service Counter” for the new arrivals. Through the platform of CTS Registration Service Centres in Hong Kong, professional social workers and trained volunteers can approach new arrivals to introduce Hong Kong’s social resources and services, provide instant consultation, support and referral services, helping them integrate into the local community smoothly. Currently, NHA offers regular integrated consultation and support services at CTS Registration Service Centres in Sheung Wan, Mongkok, Tuen Mun and Shatin.

Comprehensive Student Guidance Service. The school social workers implement the school-based Personal Guidance Education plan to cater for the developmental needs of all students and provides support service for parents and teachers.

NHA also provides tailor-made learning programmes to facilitate the development of students, including Understanding Adolescent Project (UAP) (Primary), Induction Programme for Newly Arrived Children, Learning Support Programme for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) Kindergarten Students, Chinese Learning Programme for NCS Primary Students and Integration Programme for NCS Secondary Students as well as training for teachers and parents.

From May to November 2018, NHSSC successfully implemented the “New Home We are Family Integrated Service Center for Hong Kong Residents in the Mainland Demonstration Project” funded by the Central Government. Through organising exchanges on social welfare development in Hong Kong and Guangdong, city experience for young people from Hong Kong and Guangdong, employment exploration for youngsters, and case support service, the project effectively promoted the exchange and understanding of social services between Guangdong and Hong Kong, helped young people from Guangdong and Hong Kong strengthen their understanding of traditional culture and solidified their national identity and a sense of belonging to the country. The project also encouraged young people from Hong Kong to make use of their advantage to take part in the construction in the Greater Bay Area. This project helped Hong Kong residents in Guangdong better adapt and integrate into the local life. The project directly served 398 Guangdong and Hong Kong youths. The implementation sites covered Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Zhongshan, Foshan and Zhuhai in the Greater Bay Area. The total number of views on the project’s WeChat platform reached 8,282, and the overall rate of service satisfaction reached 99.45%.

(NHSSC)

New Home Social Service Center (“NHSSC” for short) is a private non-enterprise organisation with formal registration at the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in 2011, dedicated to providing services to those who will migrate to, work or study in Hong Kong as well as those who return to the Mainland from Hong Kong for living in order to help them with adaptation and development. NHSSC has project stations in Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province and Quanzhou in Fujian Province. Besides, local New Home Social Work Service Centers ("NHSWSC" for short) have also been registered in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Quanzhou to undertake local services.

新家園社會服務中心（下稱「中心」）是2011年在國家民政部註冊的民辦非企業單位，主要為已

申請赴港定居、工作或學習的人士及香港回內地居住人士提供社會服務，促進他們更好地適應及

2018-2019年度，中心作為大灣區青年家園的實體陣地之一，運營執行「築夢灣區·

新家園」。項目通過為在粵居住或有意來粵生活發展的港澳青年提供信息諮詢、社會

融入、成長發展、實習就業、情緒支援及轉介等多元化服務，幫助港澳青年融入內地

社會，促進港澳青年在大灣區內跨區域交流、合作，深化推動港澳與內地共融發展。

In the year 2018-2019, NHSSC, one of the venues of Greater Bay Area Youth Home, operated “Building Dreams in the Greater Bay Area: New Home” project. The project provided a wide range of services to young people from Hong Kong and Macao living in Guangdong or interested in living and pursuing opportunities in Guangdong, such as, information enquiries, social integration, growth and development, internship and employment, emotional support and referral. These services aim at helping the young people from Hong Kong and Macao integrate into the society in the Mainland and foster their inter-regional exchanges and cooperation in the Greater Bay Area, thereby deepening the integrative development of Hong Kong, Macao and the Mainland.

2018-2019年度，廣州市新家園社會工作服務中心（下稱「廣州新家園」）順利執行由佛山市南海區婦女聯合會和佛山市南海區里水鎮婦女

聯合會聯合購買的「耆情里水，家寶樂融計劃」。本項目以融愛耆情童樂館為服務陣地，以已婚已育且需要照顧孫兒的退休婦女為服務對象

。項目通過「家寶‧家教精英」計劃、「家寶‧愛之使者」計劃、「家寶‧家風傳承人」計劃、「家寶‧家風倡導者」計劃，培訓退休

婦女成為家寶育兒講師，發掘社區內好家風、好家訓代表，培育婦女組織，共同推動社區治理發展，從而有效提升里水鎮社會大眾對退休婦

女價值的肯定，營造尊重、肯定退休婦女對家庭道德建設貢獻的社會氛圍。

In the year of 2018-2019, Guangzhou New Home Social Work Service Center (“Guangzhou NHSWSC” for short) successfully carried out “Family Treasure: Love and Joy Shared between Grandparent and Grandchild in Lishui Project” jointly commissioned by Women’s Federation of Nanhai District, Foshan Municipality and Women’s Federation of Lishui Town, Nanhai District, Foshan Municipality. The project is conducted at the venue of Love’s Love and Joy Shared between Grandparent and Grandchild Project, serving retired women who need to take care of their grandchildren. Through the different initiatives named “Family Treasure: Tutor Elite” Project, “Family Treasure: Love’s Envoy” Project, “Family Treasure: Family Tradition Successor” Project, and Family Treasure: Family Tradition Advocacy” Project, the project trained retired women into lecturers with the teaching topic of “taking care of infants”. Besides, the project also scouted for model individuals who have had a good family relationship and discipline. Women’s organisations were nurtured under the project as a means to push for community building. In addition, it effectively raised the level of recognition that the residents of the Lishui Town give to the retired women. The project was a bow to the retired women’s contribution to build up family values.

2018-2019年度，廣州新家園順利執行「新興社區幸福院」，並自2019年1月起新增「赤山社區幸福院」，項目由佛山市南海區里水

鎮社會工作局資助，分別為新興、赤山社區內年滿60歲以上的長者提供生活照料、膳食供應、保健康復、文化娛樂、精神慰藉等日

間服務。項目結合當地社區的特性及資源，從黨建引領、文化傳承及社區治理等層面為長者提供多元化服務，以促進長者的參與感、

幸福感及價值感，提升其晚年生活品質及營造社區融和的氛圍。

In the year 2018-2019, the Guangzhou NHSWSC successfully carried out work related to the “Xinxing Elderly Community Center” and in January 2019, added “Chishan Elderly Community Center”. The project was funded by Bureau of Social Work of Lishui Town, Nanhai District, Foshan Municipality. It provided daytime services including caring, catering, rehabilitation, entertainment and emotional support to senior citizens in the Xinxing and Chishan communities aged 60 or above. The project also combined the characteristics of the local communities and local resources in providing diversified services for the elderly under the guidance of the Party, cultural heritage and community governance. The project fostered senior citizens’ sense of participation, sense of well-being and self-worth to enhance their quality of life and a harmonious atmosphere in the community.

2018-2019年度，廣州新家園執行「里水鎮融愛家庭綜合服務項目」，

項目由佛山市南海區里水鎮社會工作委員會統籌、佛山市南海區里水鎮

婦女聯合會為主導，為里水社區居民提供多元化、綜合性的社區服務。

項目以社區為依託，通過發掘婦女兒童、青少年及其家庭的潛能，聯動

社區資源，促進社區參與，營造「友善里水，和諧家庭」的社區氛圍。

In the year 2018-2019, Guangzhou NHSWSC carried out the “Love’s Integrated Family Service Project of Lishui Town”. The project was co-ordinated by the Social Work Committee of Nanhai District, Foshan Municipality and was led by the Women’s Federation of Lishui Town, Nanhai District, Foshan Municipality. The project provided a wide range of integrated community services for the residents of the Lishui community. Taking the community as its service basis, the project looked for the hidden talents in women, children and young people and their families, and ally with community resources to achieve community participation for friendly inter-personal relationship and harmonious families.

In 2018, Shenzhen New Home Social Work Service Center carried out the “New Home Shenzhen-Hong Kong Children and Youth Exchange Project” under Special Fund for Social Construction in Futian District commissioned by Politics and Law Committee of Futian District, Shenzhen. The project was assessed to be “Outstanding” in the first application and was successful in getting the fund for a second time. The project mainly targeted at adolescents and children in Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It focused on the themes, such as, the environmental protection, education, culture, history, social life, education system in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong. It definitely provided a platform for communication and interaction between both parties, and can facilitate the integration of two societies together.

歡樂五一，繽紛社區——社區井蓋塗鴉。To celebrate May 1, “Happy May Day, Colorful Community -- Community Well Cover Graffiti” was held.

「埭頭社區社會工作服務站」是在泉州市民政局、豐澤區民政局的大力支持下，由泉州市新家園社會

工作服務中心（下稱「泉州新家園」）承接的本地社區服務專案。項目自入駐以來，始終堅持以「尊

重、溝通、互助、共融、共建」的理念為指導，運用專業的社會工作理論及方法，立足社區需求，圍

繞意識能力提升、網路連接、社區參與三個維度，致力為轄區的青少年、婦女、老年人等提供個

性化、針對性專業服務，建立社區基礎服務體系，從而促進社區鄰里關係網的建立、社區鄰里

間的互信互助；注重培育社區歸屬感，發展社區志願者組織；共同打造高情感、互助互愛、高

融合的拆遷安置社區。

"Daitou Community Social Work Service Center" is a local community service project undertaken by Quanzhou New Home Social Work Service Center (“Quanzhou NHSWSC” for short) with the staunch support from Bureau of Civil Affairs of Quanzhou Municipality and Bureau of Civil Affairs of Fengze District, Quanzhou Municipality. Since its inception, the project has always adhered to the concept of “respect, communication, mutual help, inclusiveness, and co-construction”. Using professional social work theories and methods and taking community needs into account, the project focused on the three main domains of strengthening awareness, network building and community participation. The project was committed to providing personalised and targeted professional services for adolescents, women, and the elderly in the catchment area. It established a basic service system for the community to promote the establishment of a community network made up of neighbours with mutual trust and assistance. The project also focused on enhancing residences’ sense of belonging to the community by developing community volunteer organisations which help residents work together to create a resettlement community with belongingness, mutual help and mutual love, and high integration.

「見龍亭社區社會工作服務站」自入駐以來，以社區兒童、婦女、

長者等群體為主要服務對象，通過外展和社區活動以加強居民對新

社區的認知和融入，提升居民的社區文化認同感，同時以社區文化館

為橋樑，動員社區個人、單位，構建轄區志願服務組織，營造社區文

化氛圍，構建鄰里互助平台，將見龍亭社區打造成一個多元主體共同

參與共建共融的新型文化社區。

“Jianlongting Community Social Work Service Center” has since its beginning targeted at groups in the community, such as, children, women and the elderly as its target service recipients. Through outreach and community activities, the Service Center strengthens residents’ understanding of integration into the new community and increases residents’ sense of identifying themselves with the culture of the community. At the same time, the Service Center also uses the Community Cultural Center as the bridge to mobilise individuals and organisations in the community to establish voluntary service organisations. It aims to build cohesiveness in the community culture and ultimately a platform of mutual help among the neighbours so that the Jianlongting community can be built up as a new type of diverse yet integrative community.

「中國回國人士重返社區支援服務計劃」是泉州新家園於2017年11月起承接的移居人士

社會適應服務項目。項目主要是為回國人員提供諮詢服務，為其提供相關建議、資訊、

心理及社會支援，協助回國人員加快回國適應過程，融入新環境，重建新生活。

中國回國人士重返社區支援服務計劃

The “Support Service Programme for Returnees” is a social adaptation service project that Quanzhou NHSWSC has been undertaking since November 2017 to benefit people who have been relocated. The project mainly provides consultation services for returnees to provide them with advice, information, psychological and social support, etc. to help them adapt to the life back home and integrate into a new environment and rebuild a new life.

社群提供專業及免費的法律諮詢服務，提升其解決問題

能力、保障自身權益及共建和諧社會。

法律諮詢服務中心

The Legal Advice and Service Centre provides free professional legal consulting service to new arrivals from the Mainland, ethnic minorities and the disadvantaged so as to improve their problem-solving abilities, protect their individual rights and to create a harmonious society.

91/15009），新青匯義工隊成立於2014年，由在港內

地青年、香港本地青年及在港少數族裔青年組成。

我們的宗旨︰

1. 鼓勵新來港、本地及少數族裔青年發揮自己才能，並

為他們在香港及內地提供必要的社會資源，幫助他們

更好地實現自己的理想；

2. 搭建新來港、香港本地及少數族裔青年之間的溝通橋

樑及平台，通過互相交流活動，增進了解，促進溝通，

推動多元文化發展及社會共融；

3. 鼓勵在港青年積極參與社會實踐活動，關心時政，向

社會展示青年間共融團結的力量。

新青匯

“Synergy Youth” is a registered charitable organisation (Tax-Exempt Charity Ref.: 91/15009). Synergy Youth volunteer team was established in 2014, consisting of youth from the Mainland, local youth and ethnic minority youth in Hong Kong.

Our Mission:

1. To encourage new arrivals, local and ethnic minority youth to develop their abilities and provide them with necessary social resources in Hong Kong and the Mainland to better fulfill their aspirations.

2. To build a bridge and a platform for communication among new arrivals, local and ethnic minority youth in Hong Kong to enhance understanding of each other and promote multicultural development and social integration.

3. To encourage Hong Kong youth to take an active part in social activities, care about current affairs and demonstrate to the community their power of solidarity.

調解服務及培訓中心為內地新來港、少數族裔人士及弱

勢社群提供專業的調解服務，協助他們使用調解，以簡

便、友好及雙贏的方式解決糾紛，達致雙贏局面。同

時，提供調解培訓及教育工作坊，以共建和諧社會。

The Mediation Service and Training Centre aims to provide professional mediation service and community education programmes to new arrivals from the Mainland, ethnic minorities and the disadvantaged in Hong Kong to help them handle disputes rationally and amicably.

本中心除為新來港及少數族裔人士提供僱員再培訓局的

培訓課程，協助他們提升職業技能外，亦與相關機構及

各行業僱主合作提供就業諮詢及轉介服務，促進新來港

及少數族裔人士投入香港勞動市場。

此外，本中心亦針對在職培訓及持續進修的需要，於本

年度開辦不同的專業培訓課程，如：職業語文課程、精

神健康急救課程（關懷青少年版）等，鼓勵自我增值。

同時，本中心承辦民政事務總署資助非在學少數族裔人

士及內地新來港定居人士報考有關語文的國際公開考試

之計劃，以及為非在學內地新來港定居人士提供語文課

程津貼之計劃，以鼓勵他們持續進修，提升競爭力。

培訓及就業中心

To enhance the competitiveness of new arrivals and ethnic minorities, NHA provides Training Course of Employees Retraining Board (ERB), career consultation and job-matching service for job seekers.

This year, we also organised different professional training courses, including vocational language training courses and mental health first aid courses (youths) for self-enhancement.

In addition, NHA is commissioned by Home Affairs Department to implement “Financial Assistance for Non-school-attending Ethnic Minorities and New Arrivals for Taking Language Examinations” and “Subsidy for Non-school-attending New Arrivals from The Mainland Participating in Language Courses” to encourage them to engage in lifelong learning and enhance competitiveness.

家園文化藝術協會於2013年年底成立，通過招募和培

訓對藝術有興趣和造詣的新來港人士，發掘其潛能，提

升其自信心及自我價值感。以藝術為載體，凝聚一眾志

同道合的新來港人士，形成一個同根互助的社交網絡。

同時，協會也希望通過藝術的表達，加深本地居民對他

們的了解，促進社會和諧共融。

家園文化藝術協會

Home Culture and Art Association was established in 2013. Through recruitment and training the new arrivals who are interested in arts, the Association will explore their potential, boost their confidence and self-value. Using arts as a media, it can converge the new arrivals with the same goals, forming a social network of the new arrivals to interact with each other who also have the same background. At the same time, the Association hopes that through the expression of arts, it can make the local residents understand more about new arrivals, thus promoting the integration and harmony in the society.
