Caste System
A complex social system in Hindu culture.
Based on a person’s birth and occupation.
The person can only marry and socialize within their own caste.
Caste cannot be changed until rebirth/reincarnation.
Hindus aim to achieve good karma and to fulfill dharma and duties in an effort to move up in caste ranking during their next life.
